Expedient Movers

I hired Expedient Movers to move me a short distance within Pinellas County. In doing so, unknown to me, they put a knee through my flat screen TV and broke it. I called to inform them, they sent Clearwater TV out to examine the TV. Clearwater TV, in my presence, called Expedient to say the TV was broken and it would cost about $350 to fix it. Clearwater TV told me they had a comparable, used TV in their truck for $300. I then, in the presence of the Clearwater TV rep, told Expedient that if they bought the replacement, I would be satisfied. They told me to pay Clearwater TV and they (Expedient) would send me $300. Dumbly, I did so. Fraudulently, they did not send my money. I have called 3 times, and they do not answer the phone, nor do they return my call. The company's web site says they are licensed and bonded. I need my $300 and believe they also should pay me damages for my lost time and my anxiety and stress..

I called three movers for estimates. Expedient was the only one who sent me a written quote by email. My move was small, and I was looking to save money, so I almost, went with another company, who quoted $35 less. However, I checked their reviews, and they weren't good, while Expedient's were. Boy am I glad I didn't take a chance to try to save a few bucks. The movers arrived within 15 minutes of the stated time, and they completed the job within two hours, as quoted. They were professional and courteous, and all my stuff arrived with nothing broken. That's why I'm writing this recommendation..to help you make a good choice too!

I really love them! Called in for a quote same day of my moving. They sent two great guys. Easy going and smiling all the time even after they found out I provided the wrong destination address and traffic was bad.

We have moved several times and I think this has been the easiest company to deal with.
Everything was delivered without damages.
My ex husband will also hire them for his upcoming moving.
Even my puppy Rocco was so happy with Clayton and Gregg.

I am very disappointed in my Movers they were supposed to be at my house at 9 then never showed up till 12:30 then in the process they were supposed to pack everything and I end up packing my stuff they moved it and in the process of moving my belongings I happen to take my stuff out of storage and I'm missing over $400 worth of items that were stolen from me I cannot find the screws for my bed I am missing the plugs for my theater chairs I am missing a bunch of tools and a bunch of household items I've been calling this company for the past two three weeks everybody's giving me the runaround I'm told I can talk to a supervisor then I'm told to put in a claim on the website there is no where to put a claim on the website there is no address to these people these people are a bunch of crooks I just want my things back I have TVs that are missing the TV stands I'm missing the brackets for the walls it's like a whole bunch of my stuff is missing and nobody is returning my calls I am very very disappointed in this company I feel I was taking advantage of this company deserves d or an e or an F for the Better Business Bureau.

My two movers arrived promptly with a massive truck. They efficiently carried all my furniture and boxes without damaging my stuff. I was surprised they were able to get a king size bed frame and mattress up the most narrow staircase that carves halfway up. The headboard didn't fit and they tried every possible angle, but in the end I was able to put the frame together without it. The two guys had a sense of humor and made us laugh throughout the experience. I also had a lot of loose items that could've increased my move time exponentially, but the guys helped me figure out a way to minimize my overall move-time. I was afraid of having to pay for like 4+ hours but the move ended up taking only 2.5 hours. I recommend these movers -- they do an excellent job.

We recently moved from a townhouse into a 2 story home. It was a short move, so we moved some of the smaller things ourselves and got them settled, but we had Expedient Movers take our furniture and lots of boxes. They were recommended to us by our son and daughter-in-law. I received an estimate over the phone, and they estimated 3 guys for 3 hours. They were spot on! I was very pleased with how efficient and hard-working the guys were. We have moved several times and have used a lot of moving companies, and I would rate these guys right up there with the best. I will definitely call them if we have another move. I felt the price was very fair too.

From my first call to inquire about their business, I got a friendly no-hidden-charges quote and a great crew with impeccable packing & delivery Skills. Expedient Movers deserves all these stars. They run a great business. Very good communication. On time and stays in touch throughout the process. Truthfully, my long-distance move couldn't have gone better. All my furniture was well wrapped and handled carefully including my fragile items. I'd give this team a 6th star for doing it all in Florida heat and with an upbeat attitude! My overall experience with Expedient Movers. was outstanding. Thanks!

Quoted price was nowhere near charges - they underquoted to get the contract
flat fee assessed for all moving packing needs - at 10 pm the night of the move they had not brought enough material and expected me to go out and buy more material even though they had a flat fee
despite our agreement they move the entire house, when they realized they did not have enough time they asked me to help and pack kitchen which I did. They never finished the move and I had to hire a different company the next day
broke several items which I filed with their "claim department" - they never responded

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $2500

I had never used a moving service prior to this, but everything that could have possibly went wrong- DID! I scheduled a move for 4:00 PM and they did not come until 8:00 PM. I would like to disclose that I initially scheduled the move for 9:00 am, but had to reschedule due to a conflict with the new apartment. However, when I rescheduled, I let them know that if they were unable to accommodate the move to 4:00pm, I would call other movers. They ASSURED ME 4:00 pm would be fine. When I realized they were running late, I called various times in between to see where they were at and I was continuously told "30 minutes" .. I saw good reviews about their communication but I was the one who had to reach out each time and they kept delaying the arrival time. This was highly inconvenient considering I scheduled spectrum to come at 7:00 pm and had to reschedule. I also had to call off work on Tuesday because I did not get to my new apartment and finish the move until 12:15 ish AM. When they came, the movers were cool people and worked diligently at making sure I was done quickly, but I truly think it is management that is poor. Moving forward, I vividly remember the movers carrying my trash can into their truck (which contained toiletries as well as my expensive google home) along with another trash can. My empty trash can is at my new place, but the one with the items is coincidentally lost. I called to inquire about this and I was "assured" nothing was taken so it must have just vanished into thin air. In their words, they "would never steal toiletries" which seems like they are mocking me for complaining about it when I don't care about my toiletries but instead my google home!! I was also charged $99 for them to arrive but this was never mentioned to me when scheduling the move. The guy on the phone claims he mentioned it and even mentioned the total going to be about $296, but I was charged $412, not to mention they came 4 hours late which is absolutely unacceptable and I should have been compensated in some way (I WAS NOT). When I called to inquire about this, I was told "at least they came." This service is absolutely horrible and I feel like they had no consideration for being late, losing my belongings, or anything at all. The guy on the phone was acting like it was a complete joke and made no effort to assist with this issue. I have no idea how this is rated so highly.

BE AWARE !! What a scam of a company. They never answer the phone, they never call to confirm, they just do not care overall. I had a move on June 1st and 2 guys showed up- move started at 2:15pm when they were supposed to start at 2pm (and they had the nerve to start the clock at 2pm) I asked for the boxes for clothes that I was told they would provide - NOTHING, I was told by one of the guys "take it in your car because it’s not going in my truck", they never wrapped ANYTHING, I even offered the moving blankets and they did not use anything to cover the upholstered furniture that happens to be light grey - or better yet .. it used to be light grey, now it’s filthy dirty - the truck was so filthy and they dragged and scratched everything- they did not cover the TV's -not my dining room table that is glass.

The driver had the worse attitude, he did not want to take anything in the truck, he kept complaining about everything – even though we moved the furniture from the loft to the main floor, we even rolled up the carpet and pulled apart the sectional. He said he was not taking the drawers from a dresser, he was not taking the dining room table, not the clothes, not the bikes, nor the plants, nor the containers .. nothing !! and then he wanted me to pay him upfront!! I was told payment was due after everything was unloaded and furniture was put back the way it was supposed to be. It was the worst experience, they left the entire move in the middle of the living room, they took all the screws for my bed, for my TV's etc.

No one in the company has answered the phone to this day. STAY AWAY from this fraud "moving company". That driver kept saying it was his truck and he made the decision as to what went in the truck and what he didn’t want in the truck, as if he was the owner, he went as far as to threaten me! telling me he was keeping my stuff unless I paid upfront. And to make matters worse, they finished at 4:45pm and they charged me as if they worked until 5pm (after the first 2 hours, it jumps to increments of 15min) they charged us $400 when it was supposed to be $199. half of the time they spent it on the phone.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, CONDESENDING ETC. ETC. I’m attaching pictures so everyone can see the reality. This company should not be in business and BBB will receive a complaint as well.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $399

This company is TERRIBLE! They give you a quote and seem like they will be professional, but then did not show up on the day of move despite having a verbal AND an email confirmation from me! There was no one to answer my call and then their rep (Jarrod) did not even call to apologize, instead saying "I don't know what happened" and "don't be mad at me, it's not my fault". DO NOT USE them if you are looking for someone to show up. What a scam!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $279

The worst company I have ever dealt with in any sense. Single mom moving with my 3 boys, they dropped my nightstand while I was there, it is the only actual storage I have in my room that I can afford at the moment and it’s destroyed! And are refusing to admit it. Not to mention since I’ve moved in (a week ago) two of my sons beds have fallen completely apart (again single mom). Got underneath to find half the hardware missing on two of them. They are the worst! I have called and emailed multiple times to be dismissed and blown off. I’m disgusted! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $700

I hired Expedient Movers for my move on July 17, 2021 at 9am. I booked this move over a month prior with Scott. I confirmed my move the week before. On July 17 at 10am (an hour after they were supposed to move), a contracted moving company called me and said they needed to move me the following day (note: Expedient actually don't provide the moving service, they are contracting our to other moving services). That wasn't possible due to my lease being up that evening. I contacted the Expedient Movers repeatedly on moving day and throughout the following week. I have left numerous voicemails on July 17, 2021, July 19 and 20, 2021 and as of July 22, 2021, no one from Expedient Movers has called to explain the situation to me or even apologize. At this point, someone would be a fool to hire this company.

In summary, I was left with a rental van, pod, and a lease that was ending in 12 hours with no moving help. I thought I was booking a legitimate company, over 30 days in advance, but in the end, I was left to beg my family to help me move. If this is how they treat a loyal, repeat customer, I can’t imagine how they would treat new customers.

Also, if you are wondering why there are so many positive reviews, know that they reach out to customers, that I assume they actually show up for, and offer to pay them for a positive review.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $300

I used this moving company to move 35 to 40 boxes dining room set of 4 chairs 2 computer tables and 2 chairs in Tampa. Did Not exceed 3 hrs.. I signed the Total receipt. for moving was $406.00. My checking acct showed they charged 595.00 which is Not what I signed. I called there company within 2 weeks asking for explanation of charges and got the run a round. I have left several mess about this issue and even submitted a complaint in there claims Dept. I moved about 4 weeks ago still nothing. I don’t expect them to reach out to me because they have proven that.

Scott Sanderson is a Con Artist. I had booked the movers more than a month in advance, had all the confirmation emails & texts, reconfirmed 2 days before the move and Scott said we're good.

On the day of the move, I WAS GHOSTED. No response from the crew or this conman Scott.

Next day, Scott tells me his crew had an accident, but the crew leader himself told me they were on a holiday and I should have never received a confirmation for that day.

Later, Scott manipulated my order, changed the confirmation date and said we can't even come the next day. I HAD TO MOVE ALL OF MY STUFF BY MYSELF. These guys need to be sued.
