Chose company because of good reviews, but turned out to be the worst experience. Didnt realize they were brokers! They told me a few days before my pickup that another company was getting my goods. I had to move out of my place by amset date so could not do anything about it. After dozens of calls and undue stress my goods arrived 2 MONTHS later. Sadly, Ryan was not helpful at all after he received my down payment. Every time I tried to reach him and asked him about my goods, he just texted “I’ll look into it”. But I never heard back. I would tell anyone looking to hire a moving company to make sure to Do your research c—you do not want a broker, you want a company you hire to move you directly.

Always be wary of a huge bunch of 5-star reviews, especially when the review dates are close together. It suggests that some (or all) may not be legitimate. I can attest to the wealth of negative comments in the one-star reviews because my experience in September and October 2020 with Dedicated are tragically similar. Begin with the first untruth from the seemingly sole employee of the firm, Ryan Gold, who answered my question about the type of mover they purport to be. He boldly stated that they are a full-service mover with their own truck fleet, employees and a hub in Denver. In fact, they are, of course, a broker, but you do not know that until the brokered trucking firm calls to tell you who to make the check out for the pick-up. By that time, Ryan has his deposit and doesn't answer calls. I had to trick him by calling from new numbers as if I were a new customer to get him to answer. In my case, the trucking firm, R&M Transportation, aka Energy Moving Systems, has a consistently abysmal rating across all customer review sites. With good reason. Again, my experience was typical. Late arrival on the second of the two-day pickup window in a commercial rental truck, without any paperwork, not enough packing materials, no tags to record the inventory. The furniture wrapping and loading, and pre-packed box (54 boxes) loading for a 1700 sq ft. condo took less than 3 hours, which would be exceptional except when I looked at my possessions in the truck, they were all piled up in a jumble, some furniture without any wrapping. Three weeks and 2000 miles later, the delivery crew, from a third company arrived in another rental truck. Unpacking was efficient and speedy after we wasted an hour convincing the driver that the balance was to be paid to R&M, not to them. I have made 7 moves with commercial movers in the past 10 years, and whereas I have encountered some problems with some of those movers, I can safely attest that I have not previously received my goods in poorer condition, and until now not had any boxes missing. With this move, virtually every piece of wood furniture had either scratches, dents or crushed edges. Two boxes remain MIA. Although I was delivered an open box from another move. I fully expect Ryan to write a rebuttal, but I will remind him in advance that we discussed all these issues shortly after the delivery and that he assured me he was opening a claim case to get my belongings back as well as compensation for the damaged or broken items. I waited three months to write this review, giving Dedicated time to make things right. Still waiting for a response.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5500

I saw the high reviews and they were able to beat every other quote I received. They were pretty responsive. I added things to the quote to actually get a higher price, so I didn't have any overages and was able to budget. I even took them up on their free service to FaceTime around the house so they could get the most accurate quote possible. When the day came, they were $7000 off. I did not purchase anything between the quote and move day. They were just way way off. Be very careful using them and be prepared to go over budget. Once they are done with you, do not expect a reply back either. They are a ghost

Absolutely do NOT use them. They will get you with positive reviews and it's FALSE advertisements. They try to tell you charge by cubic foot, don't do it. Find a company with their own trucks like all my sons moving, this one outsources to Whitty Moving, and they are not reputable with F BBB rating. They moving guy that came day of move was disgruntled, I paid extra for the movers to pack up this means they throw it in a box. This company will change quotes from start to end of move, causing it to double or triple from initial quote. Other hidden fees, including walking from truck to apartment. They came with loaded truck and couldn't put my items on the truck, said will put it in storage and deliver in a couple of days. I called to get eta of delivery, he said call my distpatcher and stopped communication while holding my items hostage in a hot storage. Contacting the dispatcher, said I can't give you any information, we have 21 days from today to get your stuff if you don't hear from me call back, but I can't give you any information. 3+ weeks later, delivered damaged furniture including broken 75 inch tv. They won't respond and will leave you hanging throughout move, no eta on delivery or even now as I try to file a claim will not receive response instead hangs up on you. All packed boxes delivered upside down so anything liquid spilled or fragile is broken. I have moved A LOT, and never left a negative review until now. This company is terrible and stay away.

Horrible experience ! DONOT USE THIS MOVERS !! If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I would have done that.

Warning : If during the move, any of your items is lost, you WILL NOT get compensation for that !

I had booked a move with Dedicated Van Lines for the end of July 2023.

On the day of move, they sent a third party movers called "R&M transportation for the move". In the transit, they lost my 300$+ bike. When R&M transportation delivered by stuff, they mentioned that it would have been misplaced the bike during the transit and they would try to relocate it as soon as they can and if they are not able to do that in a week, contact the movers and if needed please file a claim for it ! So I did exactly what was asked for ! However after submitting the claim, R&M claimed that there was no missing bike and asked me to contact Dedicated Van lines for the missing item which I did.

It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation , but they hardly reply !

The last response from Ryan Gold from Dedicated Van lines on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them.

Before the move, dedicated van lines will be constantly in touch with regarding the move, their customer service agents would be excellent. But once the move has been completed, they will not respond to any of your queries !

Also "R&M transportation" are not professional movers. On the day of the move, just 2 people initially showed up for the move and then they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professional at all ! During the move, one of those helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing the TV ! I was in total shock how can someone do that. Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged !

I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move ! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!!

DONOT BOOK THIS MOVERS !

There have been many many movers in my life that have taken us across country and there was never a mover quite like this. They treat you with respect, they are honest, and they make sure they keep the price the same as what was quoted. I must say that the only hiccup was that they wanted to deliver a day early and that is my fault not theirs what so ever. They made us happy and made sure our stuff was moved from one location to the next and they did it with out any damages or any thing missing. Thank you guys for making this smooth.

This crew that they sent out knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to moving they made sure that we were smiling the entire time. When they arrived on the day that they said they were going to in the time frame that they said they were going to they packed all of our boxes and wrapped our all of our furniture and loaded the truck up for delivery. A few short days later the delivery day came around the same crew that picked us up delivered us and they unwrapped everything and put everything back together and in the correct rooms that we told them to put everything in. There was no damage and nothing was missing. I couldn't be any happier neither could my wife. I highly recommend using dedicated for all of your moving or relocation needs.

This was one of the few situations of my life where I really had little to no worry. Dedicated Van Lines was all over every detail of our move. From what size boxes we wanted to anything that needed special treatment to the wrapping and the packing of the boxes. We sat and watched them work and they didn’t stop for even a minute. Most people including myself think it’s easy just come to my house and pick up my furniture and go but in reality it’s not that easy. There s semi tractor trailer that arrives that’s not the easiest to maneuver plus furniture that needs to be carried to it without being damaged so if if you get mixed up with an inexperienced or flat out bad moving company you can get an idea how bad it can get. Fortunately we worked with the best company we found and they made this easy as pie and we had no complaints from neighbors or passer bys and it went just right.
