Dedicated Van Lines

First of all I believe they are a broker they did not have any trucks with their name on them a company named Trans World van lines did the move. I provided an extensive list to the dedicated van lines agent which encompassed every item along with dimensions. He chose not to use it and used his moving program assuring us it would fit on the 28 foot truck. It did not, there were 300 cubic feet that would not fit had he used the detailed list provided this most likely wouldn’t have happened. I had to pay for another truck because of his miscalculation even though we went off his list it didn’t fit. I was also promised the entire load would be delivered in 2 days on one truck it was not. 8 days later we received the rest of it one of the major reasons I hired them was to have a dedicated truck with all our things there in 2 days-didn’t happen. So the 9200 move cost me 10690. They did not estimate properly charged me more than my quote and did not deliver on time. It was very stressful I would not use the again and I do not recommend them.

I was super impressed by not only the representative I spoke to origionall, Allan, but the move itself went better then any other move I have completed the last 14 years (4 moves). The pre move survery was done professionally and on time. The packers arrived and worked until the job was done instead of hitting the road at 5pm. The Delivery was 8 days from California to Boca Raton Florida, I'm very impressed with this due to the other quotes we had offering 14-21 business days.

We chose this company because of the good reviews, but was very disappointed. I wanted to make sure that nobody goes through the same experience as myself. Ryan, the representative, gave us reassurances of everything and gave a reasonable quote, so we trusted them to deliver on their services. However, the day of the agreed move, nobody showed up and later that day we got informed that the driver got into an accident. We understood that this was out of their control, so we were okay changing plans a little to accommodate this unfortunate event. We were promised a truck the next day, but the afternoon of that day, we got another call saying the previous move took longer than expected and they could only come either late at night (11PM and later) or early the next day morning. Due to our lease agreements and loading dock availability (we lived in an apartment where you needed to reserve the loading dock), we could not delay the move any further. It was also too late to book another moving company, so we ended up renting a UHaul and doing the entire move ourselves. I specifically booked a moving company to avoid doing this type of work! We were promised a quick refund of our deposit, but that also ended up taking a week (while we were promised a refund within 2 days). I'm sure it's not all their fault (you can't predict an unfortunate traffic accident), but their communication, timeliness, and expectation management was truly disappointing.

Chose company because of good reviews, but turned out to be the worst experience. Didnt realize they were brokers! They told me a few days before my pickup that another company was getting my goods. I had to move out of my place by amset date so could not do anything about it. After dozens of calls and undue stress my goods arrived 2 MONTHS later. Sadly, Ryan was not helpful at all after he received my down payment. Every time I tried to reach him and asked him about my goods, he just texted “I’ll look into it”. But I never heard back. I would tell anyone looking to hire a moving company to make sure to Do your research c—you do not want a broker, you want a company you hire to move you directly.

Always be wary of a huge bunch of 5-star reviews, especially when the review dates are close together. It suggests that some (or all) may not be legitimate. I can attest to the wealth of negative comments in the one-star reviews because my experience in September and October 2020 with Dedicated are tragically similar. Begin with the first untruth from the seemingly sole employee of the firm, Ryan Gold, who answered my question about the type of mover they purport to be. He boldly stated that they are a full-service mover with their own truck fleet, employees and a hub in Denver. In fact, they are, of course, a broker, but you do not know that until the brokered trucking firm calls to tell you who to make the check out for the pick-up. By that time, Ryan has his deposit and doesn't answer calls. I had to trick him by calling from new numbers as if I were a new customer to get him to answer. In my case, the trucking firm, R&M Transportation, aka Energy Moving Systems, has a consistently abysmal rating across all customer review sites. With good reason. Again, my experience was typical. Late arrival on the second of the two-day pickup window in a commercial rental truck, without any paperwork, not enough packing materials, no tags to record the inventory. The furniture wrapping and loading, and pre-packed box (54 boxes) loading for a 1700 sq ft. condo took less than 3 hours, which would be exceptional except when I looked at my possessions in the truck, they were all piled up in a jumble, some furniture without any wrapping. Three weeks and 2000 miles later, the delivery crew, from a third company arrived in another rental truck. Unpacking was efficient and speedy after we wasted an hour convincing the driver that the balance was to be paid to R&M, not to them. I have made 7 moves with commercial movers in the past 10 years, and whereas I have encountered some problems with some of those movers, I can safely attest that I have not previously received my goods in poorer condition, and until now not had any boxes missing. With this move, virtually every piece of wood furniture had either scratches, dents or crushed edges. Two boxes remain MIA. Although I was delivered an open box from another move. I fully expect Ryan to write a rebuttal, but I will remind him in advance that we discussed all these issues shortly after the delivery and that he assured me he was opening a claim case to get my belongings back as well as compensation for the damaged or broken items. I waited three months to write this review, giving Dedicated time to make things right. Still waiting for a response.

I saw the high reviews and they were able to beat every other quote I received. They were pretty responsive. I added things to the quote to actually get a higher price, so I didn't have any overages and was able to budget. I even took them up on their free service to FaceTime around the house so they could get the most accurate quote possible. When the day came, they were $7000 off. I did not purchase anything between the quote and move day. They were just way way off. Be very careful using them and be prepared to go over budget. Once they are done with you, do not expect a reply back either. They are a ghost

Absolutely do NOT use them. They will get you with positive reviews and it's FALSE advertisements. They try to tell you charge by cubic foot, don't do it. Find a company with their own trucks like all my sons moving, this one outsources to Whitty Moving, and they are not reputable with F BBB rating. They moving guy that came day of move was disgruntled, I paid extra for the movers to pack up this means they throw it in a box. This company will change quotes from start to end of move, causing it to double or triple from initial quote. Other hidden fees, including walking from truck to apartment. They came with loaded truck and couldn't put my items on the truck, said will put it in storage and deliver in a couple of days. I called to get eta of delivery, he said call my distpatcher and stopped communication while holding my items hostage in a hot storage. Contacting the dispatcher, said I can't give you any information, we have 21 days from today to get your stuff if you don't hear from me call back, but I can't give you any information. 3+ weeks later, delivered damaged furniture including broken 75 inch tv. They won't respond and will leave you hanging throughout move, no eta on delivery or even now as I try to file a claim will not receive response instead hangs up on you. All packed boxes delivered upside down so anything liquid spilled or fragile is broken. I have moved A LOT, and never left a negative review until now. This company is terrible and stay away.

Horrible experience ! DONOT USE THIS MOVERS !! If there was an option to give ZERO stars, I would have done that.

I had booked a move with Dedicated Van Lines for the end of July 2023.

On the day of move, they sent a third party movers called "R&M transportation for the move". In the transit, they lost my 300$+ bike. When R&M transportation delivered by stuff, they mentioned that it would have been misplaced the bike during the transit and they would try to relocate it as soon as they can and if they are not able to do that in a week, contact the movers and if needed please file a claim for it ! So I did exactly what was asked for ! However after submitting the claim, R&M claimed that there was no missing bike and asked me to contact Dedicated Van lines for the missing item which I did.

It has been since 6 months since the move, I have been emailing then every 2 weeks for any update on the compensation , but they hardly reply !

The last response from Ryan Gold from Dedicated Van lines on 27th November 2023 was "R&M transportation has been unresponsive. Will do our best to continue to reach them.

Before the move, dedicated van lines will be constantly in touch with regarding the move, their customer service agents would be excellent. But once the move has been completed, they will not respond to any of your queries !

Also "R&M transportation" are not professional movers. On the day of the move, just 2 people initially showed up for the move and then they contacted 3 random local helpers in the area. All three of them were not professional at all ! During the move, one of those helpers stepped on my 65 inch OLED TV while packing the TV ! I was in total shock how can someone do that. Thankfully though when the move was completed, the TV wasn't damaged !

I was fine with a third party movers being involved in the move ! However if an item is lost in the transit, neither the 3rd party nor Dedicated Van lines take responsibility for the move!!

DONOT BOOK THIS MOVERS !

There have been many many movers in my life that have taken us across country and there was never a mover quite like this. They treat you with respect, they are honest, and they make sure they keep the price the same as what was quoted. I must say that the only hiccup was that they wanted to deliver a day early and that is my fault not theirs what so ever. They made us happy and made sure our stuff was moved from one location to the next and they did it with out any damages or any thing missing. Thank you guys for making this smooth.

This crew that they sent out knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to moving they made sure that we were smiling the entire time. When they arrived on the day that they said they were going to in the time frame that they said they were going to they packed all of our boxes and wrapped our all of our furniture and loaded the truck up for delivery. A few short days later the delivery day came around the same crew that picked us up delivered us and they unwrapped everything and put everything back together and in the correct rooms that we told them to put everything in. There was no damage and nothing was missing. I couldn't be any happier neither could my wife. I highly recommend using dedicated for all of your moving or relocation needs.

This was one of the few situations of my life where I really had little to no worry. Dedicated Van Lines was all over every detail of our move. From what size boxes we wanted to anything that needed special treatment to the wrapping and the packing of the boxes. We sat and watched them work and they didn’t stop for even a minute. Most people including myself think it’s easy just come to my house and pick up my furniture and go but in reality it’s not that easy. There s semi tractor trailer that arrives that’s not the easiest to maneuver plus furniture that needs to be carried to it without being damaged so if if you get mixed up with an inexperienced or flat out bad moving company you can get an idea how bad it can get. Fortunately we worked with the best company we found and they made this easy as pie and we had no complaints from neighbors or passer bys and it went just right.

It such a relief that our move is finally complete. This was many months in the making. Dedicated Van Lines was the full service moving company we wanted to use. We liked what we found out online about them and appreciated the level of patience and confidence throughout the company. We saved well over one thousand dollars reserving with them. The provided the highest level of respect and courtesy you expect from a mover. There wasn’t anything that was too hard to understand and were happy to spend extra time with us. It wasn’t easy the whole time but eventually we got it to the point where it was just right. Thank you for all the discounts and saving you were able to apply to our move. Wanted to let other people know about a good move.

This was a military move for my husband he was finally coming home. I wanted his stuff out packed nicely and carefully and over here as fast as possible. I contacted dedicated Van lines for the move. I was referred to them by a friend and as I heard they handle a lot of military moves. We got excellent pricing and even better service. The one thing that worried me was being able to communicate with them during the transition but I was always able to get in contact with somebody. I was even given the driver’s personal cell phone number. When they got to our home they unpacked everything unwrapped the furniture and set it up exactly how I asked them to. They were always on time and honored us with military discounts. Stand up company that represents our company.

For one the customer service was phenomenal. Having worked in customer service for years I know quality service when I get it. There was many people involved that are due the credit for making my relocation a huge success. It starts with management. They employ respectful and knowledgeable sales people at Dedicated Van Lines. I was looking for a few guys to show up in a rental truck I wanted the real deal and that’s what I got. Watching them move around you can tell they were well trained. Totally securing the shipment before heading out. I know this can be a busy time of year for most but they took the time needed to make sure my goods were safe and I was happy. Haste makes waste and I’m glad we had the chance to work with them.

Dedicated Van lines was always on time. It didn’t matter if it was a phone call or an email they always did what they said they would. That really showed on move day. We were scared that our price would increase once the movers arrive but I did not. I give that credit to our sales rep who is very careful and putting our list together. He warned us of the things that could change our price and all the things that other moving companies charge for for example bed covers in the packing of the televisions we had that all handled before the movers came. It was simple so all they had to do was come and load and be on their way. They were the actual company. We were afraid a third-party would show up and claim the move but they did not. We appreciate the transparency and the patients with working with us I know we are not easy but this is a lot of money to us if we wanted to make the right decision and now I know for a fact that we did.

What a team that dedicated Van lines is. They all worked together and made sure that my family and I were not only treated like family but all of our stuff was handled with care in like it how to giant fragile sign on it. I was a little upset that I had to be relocated from my job but one thing that I can say is that the moving company handled everything and I have no worries and no stress. Nothing was standards in my company said that they were very happy with the final bill. Thank you dedicate a vaillant for all you do I stood for my family and I.

Dedicated Van Lines came to us as a referral. A business partner of mine contacted me after his move-in so well and suggested I give them a call. They were able to move his office as well as his home which was similar to it when I was looking for. We had a tight budget to work in and they were well aware of that. We also had dates that we need furniture picked up on and deliver it on as well.To say the least this is an excellent company that sticks to their word. Most of the other companies we spoke to seemed money hungry and could care less about my family and all the furniture we have cumulated over 30 years of our life. Our furniture was treated with respect, I want to talk respect I’m talking about Time as well because as we all know time is money and we had neither of those two wai our furniture was treated with respect, I want to talk respect I’m talking about Time as well because as we all know time is money and we had neither of those two waare. Getting the job done right it was very important to us and dedicated Van Lines really stepped up and got it done. For the work they done we would’ve paid more but thank God we did it LOL. I’m so glad we reserved our move with this company. Dedicated Van Lines really made it known early on why they were not like the other companies out there. They pride themself on bring honest and working all of these moves using the trucks they own, meaning they do not sell your move to a third party. We also were pleased at the pace they either at. This was very new to us and they wanted to make sure that we understood each part of the relocation. No rushing, no pressure, and especially no bad mouthing other companies is what made them stand out. When he came to actually moving the furniture they handled everything with Care. Things were wrapped appropriately and the fragile items were boxed so nothing would break. We found what we wanted in a mover with dedicated Van Lines and we fell in love with them. Excellent job excellent company.

I promise you this company is a company anybody would love to work with. Dedicated Van Lines was one of the first companies that called us and really took us off our feet. High level of confidence with experienced sakes people that will help review estimates and not pressure you into paying money the second they get you on the phone. They gave us the tools and resources and gave us the time to make the best descion for us and we did. They would call to check in and ask if there was anything we wanted to update or modify. They would call to make sure we had the right packing supplies so we wouldn’t be charged for on the real moving day. They did things none of the other companies offered Thad’s why we chose them. Our move price never changes from the one we signed and they got our stuff from point A to B very timely. It was a beautiful thing. Honest and a recommendable company. Happy holidays.

We found Dedicated Van Lines online while looking for companies that were familiar with the area. We’ve been in Virginia our whole life so it It was important to us that we found a company that was based out of our state. The sales rep super great, we went room by room in item by item until we had a perfect list. The last thing we wanted was the moving company to show up and charge us for extra things. We spent so much time going back-and-forth the list was 100% identical. They discounted our move tremendously and even did a few things complimentary. We felt respected like our move mattered. We were always able to reach our two or a manager. From Pick up to delivery we were always able to contact somebody to get a status update. The day before they called to confirm the time they be there for delivery and unloaded it into the rooms we requested. When I say the move was perfect it really was. I heard of a lot of bad stories from rogue companies and they are Not that. We would be excited if we had to use them again in a future move. Thank you everybody.
