Personally, I don't really write reviews that often. After my experience with cross country, I thought this would be worth a few extra minutes. During the entire moving process we were given the best quality service we could have asked for. Really excellent service, and incredibly polite. Everything was in its place. Very receptive to criticism when needed. I was worried a bit at the price, but after seeing the quality I see where it's going. Even after finishing the move, we still found great things to say about cross country. We highly recommend cross country.

My wife and I received a position in California for work and needed to move our belongings within one week from New Jersey. We decided to go with Cross Country Moving Group and immediately received a quote. Their prices are very reasonable for such a long-distance and short time period. The movers delivered our belongings on time and handled our fragile stuff with extreme care. The movers would also communicate with us about how we wanted our boxes layered in order to avoid damaging our fragile equipment during the move. Their customer service is exceptional and if we need to move long-distance again, we will go through this company. My wife and I highly recommend them for moving services.

Extremely hideous company with no update whatsoever on how to track your shipment. The contract is sneaky too as they say “ delivery within 8-21 days from the first available date” and that first available date could be anyday in the eternity. It just assigns a carrier and washes its hands off the subject. If you try to reach out to them in between says misleading things like “ you never spoke to me , you spoke to someone else” . I have a copy of the email that was sent to me regarding estimated delivery date but did not make it to the day at all. It did not even bother to let us know that it was not coming on that day. The stuff was picked up on Oct 18th and we have still not received it yet and all of a sudden they come up with a statement like”
It was asked to be held up until 25th October”. They do not give you the driver’s info upon request. At this point I am really worried about 15K worth of stuff. I am going to take all the necessary actions required. Please watch out for cross country moving group guys!

I’d sworn off all moving companies until Cross Country Moving Group. I had a very bad experience the one time I decided to hire a moving company, so I said never again. But a long distance move is a different beast, so I bit the bullet and hired a company and decided to go with Cross Country Moving Group. BEST MOVING DECISION. From the first phone interaction to the very last one with their movers, it was always pleasant and helpful. And the packing was done very well, which is the most important thing when moving. We were making a cross country move from Tennessee to Idaho. I considered moving everything myself but I was offered a job and had to start within two weeks. I felt that a moving company was my best option. I considered several moving companies, Cross Country Moving Group had good reviews and was able to get my quote quickly. They offered the best value for what I needed, and I'm glad I went with them. It was the smoothest move I have ever had and they kept me informed through the whole process.

Will never use this company again. I was quoted an estimated price of $5,812 and when they arrived the price changed to $9,800. They said they would have to make a trip and 1/2 to move everything. I refused to have them move us at that price and cancelled. I was able to get another mover to move us the next day and they only charged $3,000. I had everything packed and they did not
have to pack any items. I moved the clothing. Beware of
the quoted price it may change drastically like it did for me.
I lost $2.045.00 (deposit). They were only moving us 230 miles.

They say 3-5 days for a home move, but we're now 25 days in with no end in sight of our stuff EVER arriving.
Thomas "Tommy" McGarry was our rep, and he is a lying sleaze bag. Dude said he'd on our account and gave his number. He actually disappeared and disconnected his voicemail the MOMENT they received a deposit.

Like a lot of Florida companies, this is a fly-by-night scam operation. Unless you never want to receive your home goods again, AVOID Cross Country Moving Group!!

I was super overwhelmed with my last minute moving plans. I had been searching for a quality moving company for awhile. I found just that with Cross Country Moving Group. I had a wonderful experience. They were very punctual, helpful, informative, and super nice. They helped from point A with loading my items up, securing them. Until point B unloading my items and bringing them up to my apartment. Their attention to my requests and carefulness with handling my personal belongs was amazing. They also offer incredible prices!

I recently got an offer for a job out of state that required me to move in a hurry. I never thought moving would be enjoyable but Cross Country Moving Group changed my mind. They were very professional and understanding during my move. I received a quote online from their website, the price I was quoted was in my price range so I moved forward with the process. The customer service representative explained everything and the soonest date available was scheduled for the move. We have a lot of vintage glassware that breaks easily and the movers treated each item as if they were royal gems. I am extremely satisfied with my experience with this company and would refer anyone of my friends in the future.

There should be review for Thums down or rotten tomatoes. Coz these people don’t deserve stars. Based on my items they calculated the space during pickup is opposite when they dropped. Just squeezed for 5 feet high in delivery. While pickup it was 2 feet high and took more square foot.
They lost 2 smart TV’s, shoe racks and struggling to get it claimed. Racks, 80% glass items destroyed despite its clearly mentioned as Fragile. I was telling it fragile and delivery man saying he is NOT bothered. Such a unprofessional animals came as movers. On top of 2 days they came and made a big mess. Damaged lawn. They will ensure money is collected not service.

Moving has rarely been a pleasurable experience but this time there were no headaches. Cross Country Moving Group was professional and helped make a radical change stressfree. I moved from Flordia to Texas and everything was accounted for and still intact. They legit work hard and work efficiently to move in a timely manner. Thanks to this company we had a stress free moving and got a great service. The movers are doing their job with great professionalism and efficiency. They moved all our stuff with lot of attention, so nothing was damaged and finished the job very successfully. Although moving can be stressful and can take a long time, thanks to Cross Country Moving Group for us was easier than we expected. All in all, we got a nice service and affordable price. I was really looking for a good moving company who doesn’t charge astronomically to move my valuables. The solution was Cross Country Moving Group. I have heard of them before but it was my first time experiencing their amazingness. The whole move was conducted by these guys in such a professional manner. They arrived early, packed everything with great care and loaded all my belongings onto the vans with caution. I wasn’t sure if the truck was too small but they fit everything into it quite comfortably. The best part was that they charged me very reasonably. Their initial estimate wasn’t too high to begin with. The final bill was less than that.
