Cross Country Moving Group was suggested to me by my sister. I made a difficult but beneficial decision to move back to Georgia due to unexpected situations. I wanted to ensure the moving process would be stress-free and very quickly, it was apparent I chose the best company for the job. My items were well-taken care of at all times. When discussing business with a company, easy communication is a significant factor for me. The movers updated me constantly on the process and they explained everything from start to finish.

Cross Country Moving Group was recommended to be my friend who moved out of Florida. I needed to move out on short notice. I called them up and got an amazing price. Cross Country Moving Group was super fast and very thorough. Some of the nicest people I've ever met. Professionalism meets friendliness. I usually get so stressed out about moving, but Cross Country Moving Group made moving easy and stress -free. I look forward to using their services again and would highly recommend.

I am thirty-five years old, and Cross Country Moving Group is the worst company I have ever done business with in my life - bar none! I would recommend that anyone considering them as a solution for his or her upcoming move should move as quickly as possible to the next option. I was sold a service over the phone that 100% does not align with the fine print in their written contract. I was told on the phone on three occasions that my move would start on June 8, even as recently as June 5. The driver did not arrive at my house until 5:00p on June 8. He was alone and in a truck that was too small. The job did not begin until June 9.

This one day delay cost our family an additional $600 in changed flights, a hotel room, and an additional day of childcare cost. I received an automated email from the company asking how my move went on June 8! In their own system, they had the date they told me the job would begin, but per their contract in the fine print, they had a two-day window to complete the move. As I spent hours on the phone trying to explain my frustrations, there was not one time anyone from Cross Country Moving Group apologized for my situation or showed an ounce of sympathy. I was even told at one point that I had “unrealistic expectations” by Stephen, one of their customer service representatives. The only thing they kept bringing up was the contract. They did not take responsibility for the three phone calls I received leading up to June 8 saying the job would begin June 8. They also had no explanation for why their system sent an automated message asking me how my move went on June 8.

I have requested on multiple occasions to be compensated for the additional $600 of expenses that our family incurred because of the delay. Once our move was completed, my phone calls and emails have gone unresponded to. Similar to the pickup of our belongings, the delivery of our items occurred four days after the date agreed to. The agreed upon delivery date is all in recorded conversations that were had when our move was set up. I have requested access to those recordings and have been denied. Again, I was told that the contract I signed allotted them a 3-16 day window for delivery. Who has the luxury of potentially spending up to 16 days waiting for their belongings to arrive at their new residence? Another point of frustration is that all of this cost $5,000 more than the first quote I received when the job was set up.

Stay away from this company! They could care less about you or your family’s things.

I was worried about my stuff being nicked when I hired them, but they melted my fears fast. The professionalism was very apparent right off the bat with the speed of the communication. They were very clean too, which is really appreciated at this time(elderly mother). I didn't have to say anything at all. When all was said and done there wasn't a single scratch or nick or anything to be found. Highly recommend Cross Country Moving Group to anyone need a long distance move. Plus the guys that did my moving were just really nice. All in all, great experience and service.

Cross Country Moving Group helped me to get the assistance that was much needed to help me move all of my belongings into my new residence. The moving company helped me move all of my furniture out and in to the truck in an efficient but careful manner so that I was able to have peace of mind. This made my moving experience easy and a bit less stressful. I was only able to find such great movers through the help of the Criss County Moving Group. Their customer service representatives were able to answer any questions I had and they truly wanted to help me. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking to find the help that they need to make any move.

Moving long distance was honestly pretty scary and overwhelming, especially knowing you have to do it alone and when I realized that I needed help, I decided to call Cross Country Moving Group and I am so glad that I did. They were quick to answer any questions I had, easy to work with and most importantly, everything arrived intact and in perfect condition. If you want movers who are reliable, efficient and affordable, I highly recommend giving them a call.

I discovered Cross Country Moving Group by chance for a friend moving from Virginia to Tampa. I called them and was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and customer service I received. The professionalism continued with their follow up with the family, the packing and moving into the truck (done in one day), and moving them to the other side. I truly put my friend in good hands and I am so thankful for them providing her with a great experience. Awesome job, guys! I would not hesitate to recommend them the second time around!

Cross Country Moving Group really went above and beyond to turn a stressful situation into a seamless one! My nervous were already wrecked with havoc having to do such a long distance move but, I could not have asked for a better team. They anticipated our needs and were fully prepared to wrap fragile items I had forgotten about. The booking process was also pretty simple and they were prompt with time. Unloading went smoothly as well as they placed everything where instructed to. Many thanks to my angels in disguise! I will definitely use again in the future.

I wasn't moving far (one town over) but I have a lot of stuff, & objects like my couch or my(solid wood) bed frame just wouldn't fit in my van. I decided to give Cross Country Moving Group a try. Unlike the last time I moved, nothing got broken! The price was very reasonable, the movers were nice, & it only took one day. It's definitely better to hire movers rather than try to move stuff yourself. If you want a company that's reliable and efficient, Cross Country Moving Group definitely has my recommendation!

DO NOT USE!! I had an $8000 move of an entire house. Thought I did my research, looked at every review for every company. Did me no good. They are brokers so they have no control over what goes on. I was scheduled for a Saturday move date for 2 months. Called several times to confirm everything, even up to day prior. Packed entire house and ready to hit the road. Got a call from the driver at 2:30 that they were still 5-6 hours away. They were exhausted and would rather come the next day if that was OK. It was a 6+ hour job in a community. There was no way they were going to get me picked up on time. In addition, the driver mentioned the last load he picked up was much bigger than expected and there might not be enough room on the truck. I spoke to the office, explained how I lost all faith in them and they needed to refund my deposit and I found another company within 1 hour. We were now a day late and no where to stay. They said they would refund my money, please do not dispute my charge with CC company. I once again obliged. 4 days later no refund. Called not even on their radar. Told them they had 12 hours to refund my money and otherwise I was disputing the charge (BTW, disputed charges are very bad for a merchant). The next morning I was sent a letter they will give me back 50% of my money if I agreed to accept as final settlement. THEY DID NOT PICK ME UP IN TIME AND WANT ME TO SETTLE. There are other companies, you will be aggravated moving long distance with any of them, but if you use this company, beware they have several names, do not say you were not warned. Look up their DOT number and those of other companies. You will immediately see the difference.

A friend of mine recommended this company to help me move from my old apartment to a new home. This company took all my stress away and assumed all the responsibility of my move. I just needed to call them once and then they sent me the quote quickly which was the lowest one that I got among several other companies. I confirmed the booking for the next day since I needed to move urgently, and as promised the next day the guys showed up. They handled everything carefully and efficiently. I highly recommend this company and would certainly use them again!

Start, the attentiveness to every one of my requests was stellar. The care these guys used when handling my furniture and treasured heirlooms was second to none. Some of these items and pieces of furniture are priceless to me and my family. The movers with Cross Country understood that and took the time to make sure each piece was safely moved and secured from point A to point B.

These guys offered an almost unbeatable rate for this move. I saved a lot of money, my stuff got where it needed to be, and I was extremely happy. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Professional and courteous from beginning to end. Using these movers was a real treat!

I cannot recommend this company to anyone. While they responded to my request for a quote promptly, everything after that was a disaster. My original binding quote increased $3000, there was no delivery window given at time of pick-up, boxes were crushed upon delivery.

During the first sales call we discussed at length the last day I could receive items- at no time was that articulated to be problematic or any reference to the contract that allowed it to take 21 days for delivery. After several missteps, the general manager said he would "personally oversee my move the rest of the way," and then would not take calls as issues arose at pick-up.

Interesting to see quotes of prices others paid, I had 2 bedroom apartment with an original quote of $4470 and ended up paying $8716.

I found them to have lots of excuses, long hold times, lots of diversions from answering questions, or returning phone calls.

If you are moving, carry your items on your back, do it yourself or find another company.

This moving company – Cross Country Moving Group was always on time with all their phone calls all the scheduled pickups and the schedule deliveries. We reserved our move well in advance to save some money and it paid off. Will you read many good things about the company and of course we had our downs but until we got on the phone with them and soft for our self it’s hers out all were true. They save us a lot of money and they saved us from doing this move ourselves. Everybody played a part you will not be forgotten.

Salesman start out telling you lies. They are a brokerage company not a family-owned and operated moving business. Quoted my brother an out the door price including pickup and delivery. At pick up they added an extra 600 plus dollars to the cost and at delivery they tried to get another 1700. We had to get the cops involved. He has found lots and lots of broken furniture and other items.Their drivers do not show up on timefor pickup or delivery. Some one will call you 2 tell you more BS stories. It took them over a month to deliver.after initally pickingup. Worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Please listen to my words and Trust in what I say. If you have ever read somebody's negative review and still went ahead and made the choice to give it a chance. I beg you don't be stupid like I was. Don't trust in the words that are coming out of their salesman's Mouth.Do NOT hire this company for nothing. Their positive reviews are probably phony. Check out their DOT report it's real.

We ended up in a situation where our time frame to move was incredibly short, but Cross Country helped us sift through all the important details.
