I called this company after they were recommended to me by a friend.He spoke very highly of them so I decided to take the plunge.We had a very good start over the phone and they also agreed to send the surveior for a home visit.
To our surprize a very nice lady came.She was with us for about 1 hour time in which she answerred all our questions and explained the whole process.She was very proffesional.We also got a discount for being recommended.
The whole move was over three days - packing moving and than unpacking.
The men came on time on all days.They were polite friendly and the most important experinced.Just as Nicola said they wrapped up all our furniture and used protective covers.They aleo took apart all our beds, the cot and 2 wardrobes with relative ease.
The move day was quite long,but this was not their fault.We only got the keyes at 3:30.They waited patiently outside our new house and they did not complain once.I guess they are used to this.
On the unpacking day we had the same crew that did the packing.They followed our instructions as to where to unpack stuff from boxes.
Overall a very good service and very nice people to deal with.

We recently moved from our rented 1 bed flat.
We found this company on line and as they provided us with a fair price we decided to go ahead.
They quoted us £330.00 for the move and £210 for packing.For this price we were allocated 3 men with a Luton van.
The men came at 08:00 in the morning as agreed and by 1 our flat was empty.
They worked very fast and in the same time they were very carefull and polite.
A very good experience with no stress at all.Exactly what we wanted.Well done.

We used this company for our move from King's Cross to Greenwich and they were excellent. The crew were Mike and I think Alex and they were both friendly, professional and knew their jobs. Mike especially went above and beyond; fastening protective cardboard to the legs of our sofa so it did not damage the new floor, installing the washing machine and fixing the plumbing while he was at it! When organising the move, the people we spoke to in the office were also very good. I suppose when using a company like this it all depends on the crew, however, if the crew you are allocated are anything like the crew we had then they should do an excellent job. .

A really good service on all counts from start to finish.Communication was very good with emails and phone calls answerred promptly.
The moving service was also very good.The men were courteous and polite and most importantly well manerred,well trained and experienced.They knew what to do ,they handled our furniture and boxes with care and generally knew their job.
They came ina  clean and new truck.They had all sorts of equipmemt with them from trollies to toolboxes which they used to take apart our wardrobe.
Altough at the begining the price seemed a litle bit on the expensive side we can now say it was well worth it.No stress and a very smooth and reassuring experience.

Brilliant service.Very good and proffesional on all aspects.
i have used big name companies before always paying a premium and I can honestly say these guys did not lack anything at a fraction of the price.
A very well presented quote which was sent by e mail.All the costs were clear with no hidden charges and the service also explained in detail.
As for the men that moved our contnets they were fantastic.They also spoke very highly of their company telling us that they get treated very well and this is why they also try to offer their best.
Nothing was damaged or even scratched.All the furniture waw taken apart and than reassembled.Also soke sensistive pieces were wrapped.A top service at a very fair price.Would use again.

A very good,near perfect service offerred by City Removals.
Everything started with a home visit.The surveyor came on time was very polite and not pushy.Clear and concise information was given to us and also a very detailed description of what exactly will happen on our move day.
The price if not the cheapest we thought was reasonable.Their on line reviews coupled with the very good presentation by the surveyor made us choose them for our big day.
The workers even though clearly eastern european had very good manners and to us it was clear they are trained on how to behave with customers.Their english was very good.Also all of them were dressed the same with company clothing.
Very efficient, they worked fast but without compromising on quality.Wrapping was the norm all day.
Their experience in the field was most noticeable when they hoisted one of the chest of drawers through the balcony from the second floor.The staircase in the house was rebuilt after we moved in so the bloody thing won t come out.Like I said above they did brilliantly.
I mentioned the hoisting as it was an outstanding piece of skill, but overall the whole job was close to perfect.
Honestly not much more we could have asked.The whole two days came and gone without incidents and we are now in our new place.Very happy with the whole move.

We recently moved and we used this company.We only moved 1 mile away so they sugested it was better to use a smaller truck and do multiple runs as it would be more cost effective.As we were not selling and we were not pressed by time this seemed a good idea so we went for it.
The guys on the day worked extremely fast.It took them about 3 hours to load and unload each truck and they ve done 3 trips.Also even if they worked fast they were very carefull.
When they came in the morning I pointed out a couple of items that were really precious to us and they took extra care.We had 5 strong lads in total.One of them was extremely good at takings stuff apart and than building it back together.
All in all a very smooth experience.

The best thing about this company is the people you deal with.Everyone seem to be nice and they are willing to go out of their way to keep you happy.
The 2 men who moved us were exceptional.They have done more than enough and even some things not listed on their job description.They are organized and calm and  know how to work to make things easy.
Alex who coordinated our move from the office was again hands on at all times.He organized parking for both addresses and was generally happy to help.
The invoice was sent over to us by email a few days before the move.The price was kept as quoted and no nasty surprizes or hidden charges.
Not much more I can say.I would definitely recommend and use again.

Excellent from start to finish.Leading up to the move we had a home survey done and all communication with the office was handled very well.
On the moving day they arrived early but were happy to wayt outside untill we called them in.Once inside they introduced themselves and we showed them around the flat.
Everything was handled and loaded carefully with manny of our items being wrapped.They used blankets,bubble wrapp and some zipped covers they were equipped with.
We paid for a stress free removal and this is what we received.
Excellent service.

We used City Removals for our recent move.
Only good things to report.Nice people to deal with in the office and the movers.
They came on time and were fully equipped.The service was as described in their email.Everything was wrapped,they had toolboxes ,covers,blankets etc.
Handling was done very well.They treated all our furniture with maximum care.Also their appearance was top notch with the men wearing company uniforms.Also both men spoke good english and were fully capable of undertstanding our instructions.
A very good service from the begining to the end.
