City-Removals and Storage

Can't get over how amazing the team who moved us were. We had 3/4 quotes for packing services varying between £1.6k and £4.6k. we went with the cheapest because of the reviews on here, no premium for Sunday delivery, and Nicole was just as professional as the other companies. They moved a 3 bed house from North London to Surrey in a weekend. All polish team I think, all spoke English, full break down of cots and wardrobes, all put up again in super quick time. Why pay extra for the premium services when these guys do the same job for a sensible price? Complete professionals, showing up 7.30 Sunday morning to load the vans, accomodated my kid's nap times as much as possible, and worked really hard. Would definitely recommend.

We had booked this company well in advance.We did our part of research before booking a moving company as we heard a lot of bad stories about the removal industry.It was important to have a reliable a company as we had to vacate our flat by 11AM.
The service was exactly as expected.The crew knocked on our door 30 minutes earlyer but they were wiling to wayt.Also they even had a jobsheet with instructions  and some special request that we have made.
The men were fast and proffessional and at all times they knew what they were doing.I could tell that they were experienced.Our furniture was beatifully wrapped and manouvered with no walls scratched and nothing damaged.The boys managed to load everything by 10:00AM.
Unfortunately  we did not get our keyes untill 03:00PM but they wayted without any complaints.I am sure they did not like it but they behaved proffessionaly.
Also they stuck to the agreed price even though we had slightly more boxes than we thought.
A very good job which was executed proffessionaly and on time.Recommended.

We relocated from London to Leeds due to work purposes so the company coverred all the costs with our move.Due to 2 small todlers and a few expensive pieces of furniture we were very carefull in picking the right removal company.After receiving a quote by email we decided to call City Removals to do a home survey.They inmediately accepted this and someone cane the following day.After the visit the price remained unchanged so we decided to book.We agrred on a 2 day removal..the first day load the truxk and the following day deliver.
On the first day two lovely chaps came as agreed at 11:00 am.We showed them thw house gave them a cup of tea and 4 hours later our house was empty.They were extremely carefull and as agreed with the surveyor they used floor protectors and all our furniture was wrapped.
They were in front of our house in Leeds at 07:00am and wayted untill the agrred unloading time of 09:00AM.Evergthing went smooth again with no incidents.By 12:00 tgei werw on their way back to London.
Outstanding service by any standards and exactly what we were looking for.Well done.

Nick and Cosmin took away the whole stress from our move.They performed a brilliant service from start to finish.
They came on time and as we were not fully ready they even helped pack the last bits.When we ran out of boxes they provided us with some spare boxes from their van.Really polite and proffessional.
Though this was not the biggest move as we only had a 1 bed flat with not much furniture they worked fast ,they were carefull and happy to help.
Before unloading we had to wayt around 1 hour for the key so we provided them with lunch.
Unloading was double quick with good acces.
No incidents at all and I would be happy to recommend.

Service cost: £270

A superb service and excellent comunication with the office made our moving day a pleasurable experience.
Everything went as planned .The men worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble.
They were courtious and super efficient in what they did with no time wasted.
The quote was transparent with no hidden charges or terms and we got exactly what we agreed.
A week after the move they came and collected all the empty boxes.This is a very good service as it saves us time going to the local tip.
Good job.

This was  only a small move from E1 to the Heron Building.I did all the packing myself so I cannot comment on their ability to pack.
I can however comment on their ability to carry things and they were extremely good at it.Two not very big but strong and smart lads helped on the day.They were polite and clean and experienced and helpfull and I could go on and on.
Also they recycled a desk I no longer wanted at a very reasonable price.
The office people dealt with the parking.As this is always difficult in central london they arranged  for suspensions at both my addresses.The council charges are a rip off but not too much choice.Anyway it was very handy they dealt with this.
Nothing broken or scratched.All my things arrived perfectly intact.
Would be happy to recommend and use again.

I have chosen this company to move my stuff from a storage facility in Kensington to Romford. It was not a big move as I only had a 100 square feet room.
I wanted them to meet me at the storage place at 12 as I was only getting they keys at 04,and this was not a problem.Also I was given a free ride to the new place as the guys agreed to take me in their van.
To the move itself the 2 men were very good.They were fast,talented and very professional.
They were able to put all the furniture back together for me even though it wasn't them who took it apart.
Also their language skills were very good and I had no problem in communicating with them at all.
Very good service.

City-Removals did excellent job helping us move home. The communication from the quote to paying the final bill was prompt and friendly. The guys showed up on time, did their job quickly but still carefully and were friendly and polite indeed.
As I asked for quotes from several companies we feel that the costs with City-Removals were quite reasonable. On top of actually moving our items they supplied all the packing materials, packed all of our fragile items, dismantled (and later reassembled) two really big wordrobes and stored our imtes for 7 weeks before moving them in to our new home.
There were absolutely no problems what so ever. All in all, we are very happy with the quality service we received from City-Removals. The move was pleasurable and stress free. I mean what else can you ask for? .

This was a relatively small packing and removal job but it was very well done by this company.|We did not want to have the stress of moving over 2 days so we wanted to do it all in one day.
The men had an early start and as agreed with the office they were in front of our door at 7AM.They were very well equipped prepared and polite.Their attitude imediately put us at ease.
MAybe is just us but we never thought it possible to pack a 1 bedroom flat in under 4 hours.The amount of stuff we had I think it is standard anyone can expect from a property this size.
By 3 PM our flat was empty.
After a short break they arrived at our new address at 05PM and by 07 they were gone with everything nicely arranged in the rooms.
Unpacking the boxes we found everything very well packed with special care and attention given to our fragile items.All the boxes were properly marked and no materials were sparred in ensuring the safety of evrything.We ended up with 10 bin bags full of paper which says everything about how they packed.

We had a long distance move done by this company and I canot but agree with all the reviews on this website.We have chosen them because of this and we are happy we made the right choice.
Our house was visited by Nicola prior to agreeing to use them.She was very nice,friendly and gave us the trust to use them.
On the first day the crew came in the morning and loaded everything nicely.Our furniture was properly wrapped and handled with care.
Delivery took place the following day at 11.When we got there the guys were waiyting for us in front.
We checked everything and  no damage occured during handling.They also moved some furniture inside our new flat that was already there,but not in the right place.
We were very satisfied with the service provided.We felt very well looked after and it looked like the moving crews actually carred about what they were doing.
All the credit goes to them and to the company for emploiyng such people.
