My first e-mail was answered immediately, as was all further correspondence.

The moving date i wanted was only 1 week away and this was no problem at all.

The price was really reasonable, in-fact half what i had been quoted by other companies.

The driver was really friendly and kind.

My belongings were delivered 2 days later and in perfect condition.

I cannot rate this company highly enough and would recommend them as a first class business.

This is a disgraceful company who showed a total disregard for my personal effects causing untold damage, losses and even lied about the service. We agreed a dedicated service avoiding double handling offloading and our stuff ended up being offloaded into a Birmingham warehouse. To top this off one of their staff took my husbands motorbike out for a joyride, crashed the bike and caused extensive damage, they didn’t even tell us, we realised when the bike was delivered. Police involved, a worker blamed and company dismissed responsibility. It’s all been so ridiculous, proper rip off company. The drivers would not open the van doors on delivery until we had paid, now we know why, it’s because we were about to discover a crashed bike, destroyed furniture and white goods, and items completely missing never to be seen. The lorry had other people property also which was getting treated equally as bad, being thrown around and stood on.

The company simply didn’t want to put matters right despite extensive effort from our part. The manager is verbally dismissive, aggressive and in our view abrogates responsibility. We are many thousands out of pocket and the stress they caused us was immense. Avoid at all costs. No doubt the owner will respond to this claiming all sorts of offers of resolutions and contact, it’ll be total rubbish in the response no doubt. They also tell you ‘don’t bye the extra insurance from us, it’s not worth the paper it’s written on, which is true, look at the small print! Horrendous to deal with.

Secondly, We were struggling to find a shipping company during this messy time with Brexit. All BIG companies, including small one, could not give us a proper quote for moving our 10 boxes from London to Barcelona. They gave us insane qoute with insane VAT and duties (though it is our belongings)!

Only Julie was very professional, she explained that we dont not need to pay for anything accept shipping cost - no VAT, no duties…

We received our boxes in Barcelona in less than a week. It was a bit of confusion with the delivery in Barcelona, but everything was sorted out. I WOULD definitely use CAME-RO once again if I need it!

We chose Came-Ro Ltd because of the professionalism, realistic approach and kindness shown by Julie and the office team from the offset. It was really comforting before our move to France from the UK and the qoute given was also the best out there, an added bonus. Unfortunately two of our boxes were misplaced during the move and although I was probably the least understanding of people at the time, Julie, Chloe and Ciprian maintained constant contact, reassurance and support throughout. When I received the call from Julie that they had located our two boxes,I was over the moon to say the least. These things happen, of course they do, even if I did not want to belive it at the time but what sets this apart is how Came-Ro Ltd maintained their professionalism and support throughout and it is this that will stick with me. Once our boxes were located they were kept safe on our request until we found a place and date of delivery that suited us. We have since been reunited with our two boxes and they were delived exactly when we wanted them. I don't normally leave a review for anything however when people go above and beyond they are certainly deserving of one. I can only speak from our move experience so I would recommend Came-Ro Ltd honestly and whole heartedly to anyone who needs a professional team who takes care of it all. Brett - Very happy customer

We had to move most of our belongings from England to Italy and we found Came-Ro as the most competitive for price and service. Our belongings were collected on a Thursday and delivered in Italy on the next Tuesday! Everything was in good conditions and both the guys collecting and delivering were very efficient. Both times we were informed of the drivers arrival about one hour before. Communication via email with the office, in the person of Julie, was brilliant. The only problem we had was with the planning for delivery. We were told we would have been informed days before when the delivery would have taken place, so that we could arrange to be there. Instead we only received the phone call one hour before. Luckily we had someone that could be there to receive everything, since we were still in England! But overall it was a great experience, professional and efficient. I would recommend!

I moved a number of boxes, some containing glassware and ornaments, along with a few small items of furniture. Right from my first enquiry Chloe in the office was excellent, very friendly, always answering my questions and giving all the help, advice and information I needed. The collection and delivery were perfect and on the days agreed, the drivers very friendly, professional and efficient. Everything arrived completely intact. Excellent service and the price very reasonable, the best I found! A great big thanks to all the staff for your kindness and efficiency!

Camer-Ro did our removal from Sussex UK to The Netherlands.

Very customer-minded and friendly people on the phone (Chloe) reassuring you that everything is and will be fine when you book with them.

A few things are definitely up for improvement professionally, such as:

*The admin side is very unorganized (after pick-up calling that your stuff will be delivered tomorrow - instead of 8 weeks storage as agreed

* OPS doesn't give a final date with part load until the very last minute. (We finally received an email on Saturday that on early Sunday morning our stuff will be delivered.

* Losing emails, photo's important documents

* Communication methods are kind of unprofessional. (emailing with a google or yahoo mail account).

Hence I was very worried after experiencing the above.

HOWEVER:

In the end, everything was done and delivered as promised. Nice and hardworking people on and off loading the truck, nothing was missing or broken. Everything turned out well in the end.

We hired 2 men for a UK to Spain move. They sent only one worker that spoke very little English. He was kind but unable to do half of the job. Once they had all our stuff they called to say we would have to pay double as we had sent more kgs that agreed. We should have been warned about this by the person doing the move. We had to pay double as otherwise they would not deliver. Items arrived late and broken. 3 months later we are still trying to get the insurance sorted.

Rude, untruthful and unprofessional.

If you are looking for a way to try out life without your belongings for an unspecified amount of time, and would like your move to come spiced with constant surprises around every corner, then look no further than Came-Ro.

It is somewhat challenging to summarise our three-month dealings with them in a brief review, but for the benefits of posterity, and potential future customers, I'll attempt a recap of the salient facts.

We needed to organise the removal of our belongings from our one-bedroom flat in the UK to Italy. After getting a few quotes and checking all sorts of details with various companies we decided to go with Came-Ro based on the positive reviews we had read everywhere and their prompt and friendly communication.

-We booked them for the 25th August for packing and collection of our things. On the 24th August I asked when they were going to come the next day, and I was told they would email on the day with their arrival time. On the day, they emailed saying they would come at 2.30 pm. When we called them to ask if they were aware they were also supposed to pack everything, we were assured 'the guys know what they are doing'. They did arrive at 2.30 pm and naturally were unable to pack everything in one afternoon, so had to come back the next day, book an emergency van and accommodation for themselves for the night.

After being told our belongings would arrive in 7-14 days, we were left in a limbo for about a month and a half. Their replies by email were polite but maddeningly vague, and by phone verging on the incomprehensible. Around the 10th October they finally arrived. When they unloaded our stuff (from a truck which contained at least two other removals, and with one of our bookcases being broken) we realised it was nowhere near everything. They had only delivered our furniture but almost none of our boxes. When we protested, we were first flatly told that it was indeed everything, and only after we insisted they investigated and realised they had left behind everything they had packed on the first day. We were assured this would be with us in - yes, you guessed it: 7-14 days; and yes, you guessed it: it turned up after another month and a half of uncertainties and incomprehensible and vague replies, and extra money having to be spent on the extra van.

The hot August weather had turned into late November iciness by the time we finally received our coats, jumpers, etc. To be really fair, and despite everything, we don't believe they are a scam company, but they are extremely cheaply run and if something goes wrong, good luck to you all.

The collection of my goods was scheduled on the 19th August between 3-6pm (which was an estimate I hadn't been made aware of). I had to call and message multiple times to get updates as at 7pm the driver was still not there to pick up my boxes. He finally showed up around 9:15pm preventing me from meeting a friend who went alone to a show she gifted me with (and which wasn’t refundable). No apology nor compensation, but this wasn't the worst part.

I WAS LEFT WITHOUT MY BELONGINGS FOR OVER 3 MONTHS !

It has been a constant battle to know where my goods were and when they would leave the UK. A total of around 70 back and forth emails/calls to get updates on the status of my move over the past 3 months (Sept-Nov 2022). Although Julie and Chloe Duncan (both managing the clients at Came-Ro’s office) were professional and communicating in a timely manner, I was extremely stressed and worried by this massive delay. At some point, I even started to question if they really had my goods as I couldn’t believe it would take over 3 months to move from the UK to Switzerland with a part load collection whereas I was told it would take 7-14 working days! This affected both my professional and personal life as I felt constantly anxious and worried, and there wasn’t a day going by without thinking about this whole situation, feeling totally powerless.

All my winter clothes were in my move resulting in borrowing clothes and buying new ones. Every week, I was given the same reasons “justifying” why my goods were still at the Birmingham warehouse (i.e. customs’ delays resulting in massive backlogs and so on).

After 2 months, I was so frustrated with Came-Ro that I was going to take the matter further and seek legal advice. This didn’t worry them at all, and I was told that I could phone the warehouse manager (Ciprian, whose English was trying to understand) in order to get further updates regarding the loading and shipment of my goods. It probably was the worst thing to do as he ended up shouting at me saying that if I wasn’t happy, I could come and take my goods back! I was beyond shocked by his aggressive and unprofessional behaviour, and hung up more stressed than ever. A couple of weeks later, when things finally started to move on, the departure of the truck was again delayed because of another customer (sharing the same truck) who didn’t provide the required paperwork for their move to Switzerland. This resulted in another 3-week delay. At this point, I was hopeless and thought that I would never see my belongings again.

On the 25th November, when I finally had an update from Julie saying that the truck had left the UK and was on its way to France and then Switzerland, I was given vague estimates regarding the delivery date. When the driver got there, I had no notice at all and received an email saying the driver was downstairs! By chance, I was there and available to receive the goods right away.

When I started to open my boxes (some of which were in poor condition) and my suitcases, I immediately saw that everything was damp. All in all, it was a nightmare and I wish no one to go through a move like this. It was not worth the money I paid (£700) and I definitely do not recommend Came-Ro.

We are very happy with the service we received from Came-Ro Removals and I would not hesitate to recommend them and to use again in the future.

When we were initially looking for a quote for removal services from UK to Spain, Came-Ro were one of the first to respond and the only ones who also followed up on their quotation. Always easy to reach via phone or email (they respond quickly). Very friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable about the whole process. They explained to me what was required from our side, flexible on the removal date and even to the last minute changes to the number of boxes (we added 2 more just days before our scheduled removal).

Our items were collected quickly and within just 5 days everything was delivered to us in Spain! So unexpectedly fast door-to-door service!

We were informed about the pick up time (date was set and the driver called in advance to let us know what time to expect him), however, we did not expect the items to arrive so promptly which was not an issue at all. Both the delivery driver and the team here in the UK kept us up to date on the driver’s arrival time, etc. so no complaints at all.

We moved to Spain and this company made it very easy for us. Julie was there for us answering all of our questions and emails straight away, she made the stressful preparation so much bearable. The pick-up worker was very nice to us. We enjoyed a chat with him after loading the van. Ciprian was our drop-off guy and he definitely made the job easier and quicker. Only one box (out of over 100) got 'damaged' due to condensation, but no losses or broken items. Very happy with their service, would recommend!

I finalised my move from London to Lisbon with Came-Ro 7th Feb, 2023. The move was to an apartment on the 4th floor. When I booked the move, I told the office that the lift was very small and was unlikely to take any of the furniture. I paid additional money to the company for the furniture to be taken to the 4th floor. I have an email chain with the company on this issue.

I should have been wary of them from the start. My furniture was in two different locations, and they were at least a day late in collecting from each location. But I persisted.

Last night, around 18.30, they finally turned up at my property in Lisbon. I spent an entire day waiting for them to arrive. When the drivers arrived at the apartment they went to it said they couldn’t carry the furniture up to the 4th floor. I told them that I had paid an additional amount for them to do this. There were numerous phone calls back and forth with somebody. They said the money I had paid wasn’t sufficient. I told them it was a problem for the company not me. They said if I didn’t pay an additional Euro 250 they would leave the furniture at the entrance to the building. I had no choice but to pay especially as it was 19.00. Miraculously the moment I agreed to pay the additional money they were able to carry everything up to the floor. This is a COMPLETE SCAM. When I return to London, I will sue the company to recover this money

Finally, I paid additional money for the furniture to wrapped. It was not.

What an excellent service picked up on day stated driver even waited as he arrived as I was on my way out to pick my son up.

Took care with my boxes while loading them on to the van.

Was delivered well within the time frame quoted.

Was only one man delivery (which is what we paid for)but he helped my husband to unload and put boxes in the premises.

Would highly recommend them and would most certainly use them in the future .

We’d been planning our relocation to Spain for over a year and needed to take some furniture and other belongings with us. International removals is a bit of a minefield as the companies who provide such services are not necessarily well known. I found Came-Ro through the getamover website. They were one of two companies to contact me and I dealt with the lovely Julie Duncan who guided us through the whole process, responding to phone and email queries at the drop of a hat.

The guys who came to collect our stuff were very careful and handled it as though it was their own. The were very patient whilst I was still completing the inventory, numbering each item and taking photos (which l strongly advise you do).

Having sent the inventory and the insurance forms back to Julie she dealt with the required customs forms for us and within a couple of days she notified us that our stuff was on its way to Spain.

We had paid a premium to have our belongings delivered on a set date and requested an AM delivery which we got. The driver called us in advance with an ETA which was welcomed. The guys who delivered our gear were English and had been sub contracted by Came-Ro. Again, we couldn’t fault them. They moved boxes and furniture around the various rooms as we asked without any issues.

As with any move, there is always some fear that stuff can be damaged/ lost or stolen in transit but l can happily report that everything we packed in the UK arrived in exactly the same condition in Spain which is testimony to the professionalism of the team at Came-Ro.

I used this company to send my household goods to Spain. What can I say apart from they were absolutely fabulous! From the very start, Chloe kept me informed of the customs process, making it a much easier process for me (I'm not clued up with customs). She went back and forth with her customs agent to ensure I had all the correct documents. Moreover, Chloe made sure I narrowed it down to the correct volume before the collection date. I initially booked in at 35m3, and between myself and Chloe we went back and forth until we had worked out the right volume, which was most helpful because I didnt want to pay for a volume I didnt need. She explained if I was under volume, they would still collect everything, which was reassuring. On the collection date, 3 men turned up, they was so polite and worked very hard, nothing was too much for them (they even earned a bacon sandwich from me). They did some re packing for me because they informed me some of the goods were at risk of damage (im not a great packer!), so they ended up repacking 12 items in total for me, which was expertly wrapped. On delivery, the team unloaded all my goods into each room, nothing was to much trouble for them. They even helped me out with some reassembling (even though I didn't book this), they were so kind and helpful. Chloe kept me updated throughout, she really is a star. Came-Ro, you have some wonderful staff at your company, who really go that extra mile to help customers, and I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt on this occasion I must. Initially my query regarding the cost of the removal was dealt with in a matter of hours. It was far more reasonable than any of the other companies i had dealt with. Julie was excellent ! Collection of my goods was speedy and with minimum fuss, just over a week ago. Delivery in Spain is expected from this Friday onwards. What also impressed me was that there was always someone to answer the phone to answer any queries. A rare commodity with so many companies these days! I will definitely be using them again.

I've been using Cam-ro services to move my staff from England to Spain, twice. I cannot be so glad that I found them. The process was really easy, they've got all the papers ready. Nothing was a problem. They accommodated everything to my needs. The price was very reasonable, very compettive with other companies, probably the best relation quality-price. My items in both occassions arrived in good conditions and in a reasonable time. I have no complains at all, only compliments. I've already recommended this company to my friends without no doubt.

I have to highlight the staff in the company, specially Chloe. She was the key for me to choose this company. She was really helpful. It made the process of moving my staff so easy and free of stress that I couldn't believe it. Nothing was a problem for her. She was always approchable on the phone or answering the email solving all my doubts. Moving is always stressful, but she made it easier. She is a great asset for the company. It’s much easier to write a bad review, words that are written in haste, frustration and without much thought or at a bad moment, something that’s not gone quite right and has now escalated into a major problem etc.

Personally, I’m amazed to expect that a service that collects anything and everything and the transports it thousands of miles can always go without a hitch or encounter a problem or two along the way.

The company often has to deal with tricky customs clearance and since BREXIT this must now be a huge headache most of the time.

I will be the first to admit that it’s a daunting experience trusting a company that you may never have done business with before, with all your worldly goods, your prized possessions, your memories and your valuables in the hope and expectation that they will arrive in one piece at another destination at a later date.

But we are happy to report that is exactly what happened with our household move from the UK to Italy very recently. The items (all 176 of them) both big and small were collected on the appointed day, at the agreed time and professionally loaded with great care and attention. We had constant communication with the office regarding documentation required by the Italian authorities and whilst we experienced a short delay due to some customs issues, we were then advised of our expected delivery date. We cannot praise and thank the drivers who unloaded our goods enough, two delightful and polite young men who happily completed the task with great care and again took the time and effort to make sure everything was handled carefully and positioned exactly where we requested.

We can only say that the service we received from Came-Ro Ltd was more than we expected considering the very reasonable actual cost.

In business, you can never please all of your customers all of the time, but this time you certainly did!

I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this firm if asked.

Great experience using Came-Ro, their customer service was always helpful and responsive and the pick-up and delivery went very smoothly. Whole process only took 10 days. We were a bit worried because we needed the rest of our things brought from our storage unit in the UK to France, but we couldn't be present for the pickup. Came-Ro followed all of our instructions and made us feel very comfortable with the whole process. Only regret is that we didn't book with them sooner!

I asked to have an extra man to help loading my things because I was on my own, they assured 3 men were going to be there however on that day only one showed up. I loaded half of my things to help that poor man.

My things arrived more than 3 weeks after the load even tho 7-14 days only were supposed to pass.

They gave me a delivery date, which I spent home waiting for the driver. When it was 5pm I asked a confirmation and it was only then when they told me that the driver was late and would have come tomorrow.

The estimate and final price was competitive and my things arrived safely and nothing was broken. The two drivers were helpful and nice That’s why I gave 3 stars.
