California New York Express

Using CA-NY movers was a great decision for us. It was our first cross country move, and we shopped around a lot. CA-NY offered the best quality-to-price ratio, and were very professional throughout. The movers for the loading process were quick and kind, and got everything done on time, helping us package some of the trickier items.

The movers in NYC were also professional and hardworking, staying hours to make sure that everything was unloaded properly, assembled, and in working condition. We will absolutely use them again if we move across the country in the future!

I have had 2 wonderful moves with California New York Express. Two years ago I used them to move my things from NYC to LA and last month I had them move my things from LA back to NYC. And if I were to move back to LA or SF I would use them once again! Their customer service representatives are accessible and easy to work with and respond to all questions very quickly. The foremen and movers on both the NYC and LA sides were extremely professional, efficient, and made me feel comfortable leaving all my possessions with them. The movers took care to wrap and pack my things. Not to mention they are very affordable. I also used their free 30 day storage plan and it was seamless and very easy. I highly recommend them.

CA/NY Express had excellent communication from the very beginning and an easy-enough to understand online system. Their pricing was much more competitive than the other companies that I interviewed. Everything was documented extremely well and professionally and there were no hidden charges whatsoever––everything was stated clearly and upfront. The movers themselves were very professional and swift, which makes the process much, much more pleasant. The delivery was scheduled almost exactly when I requested it, and the 30 days free storage is very helpful and convenient for a cross country move. Thank you CA/NY Express. My daughter moved from New York to Los Angeles this August 2016. I did not know who to contract with since she did not have a large amount of stuff, but her things are quite nice. In addition, she lived on a fifth floor walk up in Manhattan. Thus, moving is a major hassle. To find a company that moves smaller loads and does not charge an exorbitant amount was difficult to find. So I took a leap of faith and contracted with CA-NY Express. Well, what a great experience this turned out to be. From the customer service with Elizabeth, answering all of my questions, multiple back and forth phone conversations..to the team that loaded the truck in NY and wrapped some of the more delicate pieces ( few large art pieces, a beautiful sofa etc ) to the crew in Los Angeles , thank you Rigo and George Ch, who were quick, efficient and on time. I think Mowgali, Dror, and Harry in New York were absolutely amazing. They were professional, efficient, very careful with her treasured belongings and very nice guys! I can't praise them enough..and by the way, they moved all of this in a brutal heat wave. Wow, what a job! We will use CA-NY Express for our next move.

It's always hard to trust someone to move your personal stuff across country, giving them control of taking care of everything. We had to ship my daughter's furniture and belongings from the San Francisco area to New York because she got a job that she had to start quickly. I did a LOT of research, and CA-NY Express not only had the best prices, they were very patient with me as I got all the packing done. Life got in the way, and I wasn't able to be ready for the initial date we'd agreed on, but it wasn't a problem. Once we got everything figured out, the two men who came to pick everything up from our house were polite and professional. They really took their time to wrap all the furniture properly. Everything got delivered to my daughter in perfect condition, and they worked with her to find a delivery date that wouldn't make her miss work. They were efficient and professional in unloading, and they even re-assembled her furniture for her! We couldn't be happier with the service we received, and we would highly recommend this company for small moves, like ours, or larger ones!

My husband and I were beyond impressed with California New York Express! It was our first time using movers, and from start to finish we felt informed and supported. From the video links on how to pack, to the day-of move, to then helping us assemble our furniture at our destination, our movers helped us every step of the way. To top if off, all of our items were accounted for and arrived in one piece. California New York Express was also the cheaper option by far. A win-win all around. Moving is very stressful but moving across the country takes the cake. So many details involved leading up to the move date. I made so many changes regarding my shipment, but Josh was a total champ about it all. He was very transparent about all costs and made the process very simple.
The move date, 3 men showed up and they were extremely professional and FAST. The knocked everything out in 2 hours. Easy breezy. My shipment arrived very quickly and the men on the receiving end were just as fast & professional. I am very happy with the service and the price cannot be beat! Since then I have referred California New York Express to 2 people. 5 stars all the way!! Thank you.

I loved that I was able to adjust my inventory online as I packed, so that I can accurately estimate the total cost of my move.

The movers were super friendly, prompt, thorough, fast, clean and careful with all our belongings. They went out of their way to pack as efficiently as possible, going so far as to disassemble some items so they shipped better.

The delivery was also carefully done and the process made sure all of our items were delivered.

Overall, was totally satisfied with the service and price, and with everyone involved in both ends!!

When I received a job offer in San Francisco, I was terrified about the thought of moving across the country from New York City. Luckily, a friend had recommended CA NY Express. First off, coordinating with the CA NY team before the move was extremely easy. The company's inventory estimate system was easy to use and helped give me a reasonable quote. In fact, my quote was almost spot on compared to my actual costs incurred. Furthermore, CA NY Express was always responsive when answering all of my emails with questions about the move (Josh was awesome!).

When it came time to move, I was terrified of moving from NYC, but CA NY Express was awesome! They were able to find parking, then quickly packed my belongings and wrapped fragile items with lots of care. I had some old antiques and the team did a great job wrapping them!

During the move, the CA NY Team was great about keeping me in the loop. In addition, my new home in San Francisco was on a narrow street, so they helped coordinate a smaller truck for the move. The team did a great job unloading and I was very happy!

Overall, I would certainly recommend using CA NY Express! I had a very positive experience!
