Our household move involved both fragile antiques and bulky furniture. The movers wrapped each item with blankets, separated fragile boxes, and loaded the truck neatly. Nothing was stacked in a careless way. At the new place, they asked about placement for every large piece and didn’t leave until I was comfortable with where everything was set. By the end, I was relieved to see that nothing was scratched or broken. It was exactly the kind of dependable service I was hoping for.

This started as a good experience. The movers were professional and handled our possessions with care.Then when they went to transport our stuff (moving from Virginia to Utah) they informed us it would take 4-5 days to get there. We gave them a date that was 10 days from pickup and was assured it typically arrives on time.We arrived after the 10 days and then waited in an empty apartment sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks with no communication as to where our stuff was or when it would arrive. For long distance moves I highly recommend going with a different company.

I was referred to Blackstone Movers via PODS and am glad I was. They were fantastic, and I wish I could give them six stars. They were punctual, efficient, professional, and thorough. They damaged nothing and took extra care not to. They worked diligently to fit all of my home contents into a 16-foot container. I had tentatively scheduled an additional 8-foot container. Still, due to their efforts, Blackstone Movers did not need it, saving me over a thousand dollars when you count the pod, transportation to the destination, and packing. Great job. Thank you very much.

I used BLACKSTONE movers to transport and pack my belongings from New Jersey to Virginia. I had my things in a storage unit which makes it harder for movers and still, I had a good experience with their service! From the beginning, the booking process was smooth and straightforward. The company was responsive to my inquiries, provided a fair and detailed quote and explained the process clearly. Their pricing was competitive compared to other moving companies I considered.

On moving day, the crew arrived on time and was professional and efficient. They handled my furniture and boxes with care. I appreciated their attention to detail, especially when wrapping fragile items. They worked quickly but didn’t rush, which reassured me that they were taking the necessary precautions to avoid damage.

The delivery to Virginia was timely, and I received updates along the way, which helped ease my concerns about long-distance moving. When they arrived, the movers unloaded everything carefully and placed items where I requested. After unpacking, I was pleased to find that everything had arrived in the same condition as it left—no broken or missing items. They even delivered it 5 days earlier than expected which was communicated with me ahead of time! :)

Overall, I would recommend BLACKSTONE movers for all moves and especially long-distance moves. Their team was courteous, efficient, and careful with my belongings. If you’re looking for a reliable moving company to transport your items safely, they are a solid choice.

I moved from a third-floor apartment with no elevator, and Blackstone Movers Corp handled it without any issues. The crew showed up early and walked through everything with me before starting. They wrapped my dressers, sofa, and even smaller shelves without me having to ask. I had a lot of breakable items in boxes, and they were careful to load them on top. They also checked with me before disassembling anything, which made me feel more in control of the process. At the new place, they were patient as I decided on where to place the furniture. They didn’t complain once about the stairs or tight corners. The price was exactly what I was quoted no upcharges or add-ons. Overall, it felt like working with professionals who care about doing the job right. I’d gladly use them again.

Moving from an apartment into a house felt overwhelming at first, but Blackstone Movers Corp handled it well. From the first call, they explained everything clearly what was included, what they’d bring, and how long it would likely take. The team showed up on time with all the supplies. They used proper tools to disassemble large furniture and wrapped everything properly, even my oddly shaped bookshelf. Throughout the move, they stayed in sync and asked for my input when needed. Nothing was damaged, and nothing was misplaced. The pricing didn’t change from the estimate, and there was no pressure to tip or upsell. I especially liked that they waited until I was fully satisfied before leaving. Definitely a company I’d call again.

My experience with Blackstone will have me never being a customer again. Their communication with me was simply awful during my move, both being unresponsive and giving me false information. I experienced the following during a 1-bedroom apt move:

1. They were initially unable to accommodate the preferred day of my move, unfortunate but okay.

2. Then, when they did arrive, it turns out they under-quoted me $400 so that was a fun surprise

3. They also promised disassembly and assembly of my furniture, but were unprepared to do so (did not have alan keys)

4. Throughout, they did not answer a plethora of calls. Scott, at their Florida office, is great, but their main Jersey office never answers the phone, and only called me back after leaving several messages with them, Scott, and the movers.

5. They then had their truck stopped on the way to my destination for having a broken headlight, and were unable to complete the delivery the same day. Even when they arrived, the driver said the headlight was still broken, so I question the state of their fleet and mechanics.

They also first lied and then were unresponsive throughout this delay, the driver and office failing to call or answer my calls throughout. Truly awful service. They told me about the delay hours after it happened, and first lead me to believe they would still arrive the same day.

6. The office then called me the next day and lied about when the movers would actually arrive

7. When everything was eventually unloaded, my desk drawer was damaged and multiple items were dirty from their truck.

When I complained about the service I received to them, they threatened me with additional fees and tried to make me feel bad about how that delay had hurt the company. I will never use them again, and encourage anyone else to look elsewhere.
