Great communication from start to finish. When we requested the quote, we mentioned that we are going from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor, and they said is not a problem, we are not charging for stairs. The team that came worked very hard and I never heard a complaint. I am usually anxious about moving but with Best Fit Movers everything worked smooth. I would highly recommend them, and I would definitely use them again (but I really hope I don't have to because I hate moving)

We left a 4-bedroom house, and we just completed our move that took a total of 7hrs. I don’t consider is too much because only cleaning the house is taking 4-5 hours. These guys are very professional. They called me 40 minutes before arriving and came on time. The fact that they called me was great because I had time to drink my coffee without stress. Wrapped everything with blankets and shrink wrap and put them in the truck. They didn't complain at all entire day and got everything finished up as fast as they could. We would highly recommend them!

I own a review for Best Fit Movers. We moved from Escondido to Sonora last summer. After contacting several moving companies, I realized I need an on-site estimate, and after, a quote based on that. Almost each company was providing different number of trucks and movers, so the in-home-estimate was a solution for me. I called Best Fit Movers and I set an in-home estimate in 2 days. George came in time, was very polite and explained the move in details for me. With all the information was easier to take a decision. I hired them and I can say that the move was according to the plan. I highly recommend this moving company.

We had to leave our apartment in 5 days, and we had to start looking for a new house ASAP. We signed a lease and wanted to move two days later. So we didn't had too much time to prepare the move. We called Best Fit Movers and arrange with them that the packing to be done in the same day with the move. They suggested that we should hire 3 movers because will be more efficient. The 3 movers arrived on time and start packing, after that, they moved everything into the truck. The move happened so fast for us that we can say we were lucky to find an apartment and a good moving company in such short time. Thank you so much!

STOP HERE. Please read this and ignore any positive reviews. The movers broke my TV and lost/stole my nightstand, and the company would not allow me to make a claim for several weeks. My partner and I are very understanding people and addressed the issues with consideration. That meant nothing to Best Fit Movers. As mentioned, our TV was broken, and our nightstand was lost/stolen. The nightstand was left in the back of the truck. When I noticed it was missing, I spoke with a man named Isaac, who told me he would drop it off and even sent me a photo of it, showing that he indeed had it. It was never dropped off. I texted Isaac multiple times over the next few days asking that we arrange for it to be dropped off, but he never responded. While on the phone with the company, the people we spoke to would tell us their manager was busy and would call us back (they never did) or give us the numbers of other people who would not pick up or do the same thing. We spent hours over several weeks just trying to file a claim. Well over a month later, Best Fit Movers compensated us with a whopping $100 for the TV and told me that the nightstand had been lost without compensation. This company is a nightmare to work with. Best Fit Movers will avoid you at all costs if you dare to file a claim and make it as brutal for you as possible. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Please do not make the same mistake I did because there’s a good chance that you’ll regret it.

First time I've ever felt like I had to give a review for something negative. Moving crew was great! However, I made the mistake of paying before looking closely at my bill. They triple charged the drive time rather than double and even rounded that up by more than a 30 min increment. The drivers explicitly stated it took them 40 minutes to make the drive, yet 3 of the 5+ hours I was charged was due to the drive time. They also overcharged the total move time ( 3hr15)

Have been trying to get in contact with billing, but always sent to voicemail. I get a response through email once in a while, but responses have taken between 7-12 days to hear back. This is totally different from when I was still trying to get a quote and was frequently called and emailed asking me if I was going to ask them to help me move.

I wouldn't typically be bringing up the extra half hour or 15 min, but because of their miscalculation in charges and over charging by several hundred dollars (due to the triple drive time charge), I had to pay with card as the amount of cash I took out was not sufficient for the overcharged amount. This resulted in additional add-on charges (+x amount for to the hourly charge) to cover the credit card transaction.

Advice to others: the move should be pretty smooth, I was happy about it. Just look closely at the billing, it seems like either the billing department makes these mistakes a lot, or they purposely drag out fixing the issue

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We hired Best Fit movers (based on online reviews) to move a 1 bedroom apartment with a garage to a new address less than a quarter-mile away. The apartment was fully packed when the "crew" of 2 young men arrived. They showed up with a 16 foot truck (rather than a 26 foot truck as promised). They were not in uniforms or wearing any kind of name tags or ID, and the truck was a plain white panel truck with some graffiti on it - no company name or logo. Several hours were spent by them "playing tetris" trying to figure out how to get an entire 1 bedroom apartment and garage into the tiny little truck. Not only did this cause wasted time and money, it also resulted in damage to our property by packing the truck improperly (i.e, crushed several knobs on a new dresser, scratched several other pieces of furniture and made a small hole in the back of our couch). Additionally, no runners were brought to protect the carpet in our new apartment and no wardrobe boxes were provided - they SMASHED ALL OF OUR CLOTHES into medium-sized boxes that we had on hand for other incidental items. An extra worker showed up to work toward the end of the job adding to the cost. We were charged a total of $800.00 and never received any paperwork of any kind - NOTHING. NO RECEIPT WAS GIVEN TO US. When we called to immediately following making the payment to lodge a complaint, we were sent to a "supervisor's" voicemail. Our calls and emails have remained unanswered; it has now been 4 weeks since we moved.

DO NOT HIRE. They were 3.5 hours late and no communication from Best Fit, I had to call several times.

"Crew" ran several errands on the way to my job, showed up with a full truck, that had to be unloaded and picked up by another truck before starting my job. Took long breaks, one of the crew wore FLIP FLOPs and dropped furniture off the moving dolly. Perhaps if these things would not have happened then my furniture, dishes, carpet, floors and walls would not have been damaged. And, after all this, the management really doesn't give a S?!t. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE.

At the end of September, I hired Best Fit Movers to move my things from my old apartment to a storage unit, as my new apartment wouldn't be ready for three weeks. The first move went fine but when they moved my things from the storage unit to my new apartment, my $700 60" 4K HD TV was missing. After calling four days in a row with no response, I finally heard back from someone in their Claims Department that their mover took it and said I gave it to him. I told them that was ridiculous and asked why I would give a perfectly fine $700 TV away to a complete stranger. They said they would return the TV but after numerous calls and zero calls back, they still haven't made any effort to return the TV, after 3 weeks now. I'll be filing a small claims suit in short order. I'm just hoping someone in charge at the company sees this and resolves the situation first.
