Atlantic Coast Movers

Miracle Movers (1785734 Ontario Inc.) doing business as Atlantic Coast Movers very successfully moved me from NS to BC in 2017 so when moving back a year later, I happily engaged them again. The return move went like this: goods delayed 1.5 months because of poor communication and me paying nearly $1000/month for an empty apartment, charged hundreds of dollars more for virtually the same load and no scale tag provided, delivery of all my belongings to someone else’s house, my items repacked in their truck without blankets for protection resulting in the smashing of my grandmother’s rocking chair, many conversations showing a lack of good faith on their part, my eventual arrival at their fake address on a walking trail in Halifax to serve court papers, back to court to have alternate service approved, served and acknowledged, no show at court, court order to me, execution order received. And now here we are nearly two years in and they are refusing to pay the amount awarded by the court. I had only asked them to have the rocking chair repaired. They refused. Then their various stories and excuses unravelled. They make themselves hard to find on purpose. This is my review.

If real estate is all about location, then moving is a lot about communication and preparation. I had open lines of communication with the moving company. The movers showed up fully prepared with tools, dolly’s, and enough personnel. Moving is a team effort. The movers showed up promptly, ready to move & were very professional. I tried to be accurate with all the things we needed moving so the 26 ft truck wouldn’t be overflowed. They did a really good job packing, wrapping & moving my furniture onto the truck. I like that they don’t use 18 wheelers because it was much easier to access my house & move it to the other end quicker. Thanks Atlantic Coast Movers for providing me a perfect moving team to relocate my home safely.

Our move from Fort McMurray to Oakville went off well largely because of Atlantic workers. Dima and his crew did great work. They packed our kitchen things well. Only one thing, a plastic container, was broken because it had been put in a box on top of a sharp spindle. This was a negligible loss. The crew worked tirelessly to pack things and move them and the things we had packed onto two trucks. We met them in our place where they picked up a couple of other items. They were there an hour before us. Our apologies for making them wait. I heard no complaints. They went right to work when we opened the cabin. At our new house, the moving men hustled our things into the house and garage. Jean and I worked first on emptying boxes packed by the crew in our early days here, but we couldn‘t unpack them completely because, as big as this house is, it doesn‘t have the storage space our much smaller house had. We waited for delivery of a new china cabinet and then finished unpacking. Now that all the boxes packed by the crew are unpacked, we can say that only the plastic container was broken of all the things packed by you. Amazing. I have to admit that we have many boxes still in our garage. Atlantic did a super job for us all the way around. Absolutely Great. I would recommend your company as a top-notch mover whose crews keep their schedules and pack customers‘ goods carefully.

Everyone treated our belongings like they were their own and was so polite. Working in the snow and doing what you do — well, you couldn’t be more professional. Hi..I am about a week overdue in sending the sincere thanks of the whole family to you at Atlantic! The move from Thornhill to Grande Prairie was truly the best move ever, and we have moved across many parts of the Canada with a variety of movers. The team you sent us was, just that, a real team that was professional and worked well together. The fact that we had basically the same team for three days from loading, then unloading, is genius. They took care of everything, packed so carefully, and then knew how to put it all back together, and where it all went. You do realize, that's amazing for movers. Eugene was a dream, an excellent leader, and a motivator. His guys almost never took even a breather and in climbing up stairs at our new home. And, they all had personality, good cheer and wonderful humor over all three days. Seriously, James, Megan and I hated to see them go..Thanks to you for assessing our needs, and matching us with a great group. We will never use another moving company!

We are so happy that Atlantic moved us from Toronto to Edmonton! It was a great experience. The office staff, and the teams that moved us did everything with excellence! The office staff was organized and planned loading and unloading, off-site storage, and delivery which was no easy feat because it took us two months to purchase a new home. They communicated well with us the entire time. I cannot say enough about the teams that moved our belongings. They worked well together as a team and were jovial as they worked, while taking great care with our belongings. They were very respectful of us and our home, as well as, being sensitive to how difficult moving can be for a family. I have never seen items so well padded and packed. This was such a relief as we lost almost half of our furniture on a previous move with a different moving company. If you are looking for a moving company that will treat you well and take great care of your belongings then you have found them…..Atlantic Coast Movers. I highly recommend them!!

We used Atlantic Moving to move us from Toronto to Calgary. All follow up after the initial estimate was done in a timely manner. On our move day Phil and his crew of 2 arrived on time. They were courteous, efficient, and respectful of our items and home. Phil advised us he and a crew would be at our home in Calgary for the delivery. Which they were and arrived on time. This crew was just as good as the crew in Toronto. I also rec’d phone calls on day of loading & unloading from Trey checking in on how things were going. Moving is hectic and stressful. I would highly recommend this company. I feel like our move went very successfully!

Atlantic is a company I'm glad I chose. Like most places I called they were real hungry for my business but what set them from the rest was the effort they put in to actually get it!! They sent a guy over to my place to look at everything that was being moved. This process was all done for free before I confirmed doing any sort of business with them. Things continued very well after that. Scheduling the move was a breeze and dealing with their staff wasn't too bad at all. I absolutely despise moving. However dealing with Atlantic made it all less of a frantic hassle.
