These guys will totally scam you. BUYER BEWARE. AVOID AT ALL COST. Specifically, William the operations manager lied to us, then would never return our calls when the move started. They will use bait and switch tactics, under quote your job, tell you it will be "their guys" moving you, assuage you that everything will be terrific and then, like us they will subcontract your move to someone else and walk away with a pretty penny while you're stuck with a different company, a price near double what you planned.. oh, and don't forget they will price you in weight and then the other move company will price you on volume. Don't get screwed, please please please don't use these guys.

I contracted American Standard to move my house form PA to NC. The main reason for selecting them was the person on the phone assured me that they are not a broker, but they handle all their own moves LIES. I was also told that the person I did my inventory with would assist in any future questions/concerns, I was never able to reach him again after collecting my non-refundable deposit. Now the movers who moved us damaged several items and no one will own up to repairs. I asked about different parts of the contract and was told repeatedly it was an "old form, we do not do that anymore". If Neil Greco calls you from this company, hang up and block the number!!

You will thank me later do not use their services! We made an out of state move from California to Oregon. At first Brian Sanchez who is totally unprofessional, was calling and bothering us to use their services. Took a very long time, kept moving dates, and took over two weeks to deliver our things.They still charged us after losing over 5k worth of stuff. They said they delivered it to the wrong address and there was nothing they could do after that to recover them. We tried calling Brian back and after he had realized his team didn’t do their job right he stopped answering. They still made us pay them 500 after we asked them where the rest of our stuff was. Family heirlooms, designer purses, a guitar, and furniture all gone. We called customer service and were told to make a claim but didn’t want to meet with the 10,000 insurance policy! Do not go with this company! The prices might be lower than other companies but you will end up regretting it after.

Worse company I ever did business with. Raised my price $800. With the same amount of items. When my things arrived at my new house, there was missing sentimental items and after unpacking there was a lot of damage. Please save your money and go with a mover that does everything and not several companies. I made a claim and never heard from anyone. We were told that the price of moving would be 1400, with no chance of being higher only lower. In that price, we paid for 30 boxes, our two couches, among other furniture in the house hold. When they got there, we were told there wasn’t enough room in the truck. Long story short, they tried to charge us 3k for the amount of things we had that originally costed 1400. Not to mention, they ended up ONLY MOVING THE FURNITURE!! Don’t waste your money or time on this company!!

We are using these guys and when we were told that it would be here in a few days after pick up on the phone and that is not the case when I have called they are rude and not helpful, when they pick up the items they told my mom that she did not have to pay and then the office said it was wrong we needed to send payment they will not take payment over the phone or via electric wire just cashiers check very weird in this age where everyone takes CC payment. I ask for a supervisor would not transfer me to one. we now can't do nothing about it and have to wait to see when they feel like Delivering the items.. THEY TELL YOU SOMETHING OVER THE PHONE AND IN CONTRACT THEY PUT SOMETHING DIFFERENT. DO NOT USE.

Don't believe a word they say from the start. Our sales person gave us a quote of 3,000 dollars for moving from MN to FL wich ended up costing 9, 000$!

That was not the worst part. The movers promised they would pick our stuff up by June 25th so everything was out by June 26th the date our buyers were moving in. They did not show up until 11:30 pm on June 25th and were not finished until 6 in the morning the day of closing leaving no time to clean for the new owners of our house. This made for a very stressful situation.

The worst part of the situation is our sales person told us there would be no problem getting our stuff delivered by June 30th to our new house in Florida. When the moving company picked up our stuff, they said it would be 10-21 buisness days until they could start delivering. That was never told to us . I would have never used this company if we new it would take that long. We are currently on week 2 in FL with literally nothing to live on/ beds/ couches/ things needed for work. We have heard no word on when we are getting our stuff and when I call we are told they are working on the schedule but are very backed up so they don't know when it will happen. This is such a hard thing for our family to go through, living on the other side of the country not knowing anyone and having nothing. I don't want anyone else to go through what we have so DO NOT USE AMERICAN STANDARDS for moving!

WORST MOVERS, THEY BROKER UR JOB OUT THEN REFUSE TO HELP. CHARGE DOUBLE, BROKE EVERYTHING I OWN GROSS. LITETALLY RUINED EVERY SINGLE THING THEY MOVED. 1ST THEY LEFT HALF OFMY STUFF BEHIND TELLING ME I WOULD OWE OVER 800 MORE DOLLARS. THEN AFTER OVER A MONTH OF WAITING THEY FINALLY DELIVERED MY BROKEN MANGLED BOXES AND FURNISHING. I AM STILL MISSING MOST OF MY FURNITURE AND SOME BOXE. BROKE THE STAND OFF OF MY TV, CRUSHED EVERY SINGLE BOX, DENTED AND SCRATCHED ALL FURNITURE, DESTROYED MY DAUGHTERS DOLL HOUSE. LITERALLY EVERYTHING BELONGS IN THE TRASH. THEY FOLDED MY SLEEP NUMBER BED IN HALF RUINED IT, FAUGHT WITH ME TRYING TO REFUSE GIVING ME THINGS I COULD CLEARLY SEE THAT WERE MINE SAYING THEY WERE NOT ON THE PACKING LIST INCLUDING ONE OF MY TVS. DESPICABLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HANGING UP ON CUSTOMERS, CALLED ME A LIAR SEVERAL TIMES. THE MOVERS DEMANDED TO BE PAID 50 BUCKS TIP TO ALL 3 MOVERS BEFORE THEY WOULD EVEN ENTER MY HOME. THEY REFUSED TO PARK AT MY FRONT DOOR THEN CHARGED ME EXTRA TO WALK FURTHER THEIR OWN FAULT. MY 55 IN TV IS NO GOOD AND ALL OF MY LIFE LONG MEMORABILIA IS LITERALLY CRUSHED. PLEASE DONT GIVE THEM A PENNY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

American Standard did NOT move my items. They are a broker with horrible customer service. They quoted me a certain amount but ended up actually charging me $500 more than the quote. The rep William Jameson claimed that this would never happen at his company. Scott was another rep who was extremely rude and refused to let me speak with a mgr. I reached out to a mgr who only contacted me by email to let me know it was best to communicate with her by email, only to never answer my questions or address my issues. Luckily the company US Movers who actually moved my items were much better at customer service. William Jameson gave me his email, and direct number and informed me to contact him for and concerns. He never responded to my emails, text or messages. Once I paid my $500 deposit, that is when American Standard showed who they really are. If the Operations Director Christina Reed treated people like this, I guess I understand why the rest of the employees are so rude and lack customer service. If I could go back, I would’ve never spoken with these crooks. Do yourself a favor and choose a different moving company. Avoid brokers altogether and contact US movers directly.
