Absolutely horrified. We had our boxes picked up Nov 8th, our understanding being that delivery date - i.e. date our goods would arrive would be November 17th. Received a call week of Nov 9th for ETA, gave them 11/17. . Find out ETA is when goods leave storage so 14-21 days for delivery. Who cares when their stuff leaves the warehouse? People want to know when it's going to arrive. Here we are January 19th and not only has there been no delivery, worst of all it has not even left storage IN FLORIDA!!!. Several calls to both Amer Home and Leadway with promises but nothing has been done. These people are dishonest and have zero concept of customer service. They have our money and our goods and seem to have little intention of fulfilling their contract with us. I guess our next and possibly only option is to report them for theft of our property.

My daughter has now been living in an empty apt for 2 months, no bed, no clothes no dishes, thanks entirely to the dishonesty of these two companies. They tell us that we were given "a discount" - frankly, it's not a discount if they don't do the job they have been paid for. Do not use these people, they will lie and take your money. Watch this space as we escalate this.

We continue to be amazed and surprised by the level of unprofessionalism your drivers had.

Lot of our stuff is in damaged condition.

They never assembled any of furniture and did not take majority of them upstairs. They charged extra for going upstairs, which we already told you that apartment was on the 1st floor.

We have taken videos of their behaviors, and kept my text message conversations of Eli. Eli was extremely rude.

" Missing 2 large bags & dining table worth 2000$. Drivers came on 22nd to pick up the stuff instead of 19th initially promised , they stayed till 217am and kept us up . They dropped off our stuff around 10pm on 24th . They refused to assemble the majority of things as promised and also refused to move half of our stuff upstairs. Eli , manager of company demanded that we pay the entire amount we agreed upon before they even start moving box . I told them I would be happy to pay him half first(since they did take money on pick up and did not send me invoice as they promised) and then the other half later on once boxes are delivered and furniture is assembled. But Eli refused to allow the drivers to move any boxes and started yelling and cursing. We gave into his demand on driver's request, and we sent $1072 on zelle. Then

He demanded an additional 75 as it was upstairs, which again we told you and have in contract that it will be on the first floor. Drivers then wanted tips or they refused to bring half of the furniture upstairs and assemble it. Eli accused me that they are afraid they will not get the tip after they finish the work, so I agreed to give them a tip. The moment the tip was given, driver Joshua became racially abusive from kind, and claimed that he had a gun and wanted to leave. We have videos of these conversations. Police had to be called due to security reasons as Joshua claimed to have a gun and claimed that he will leave with our stuff."

We will not allow this kind abuse and violation of contract, and I feel that the moving industry gets by these behaviors and tactics, so please reply to me and provide me in a timely manner either reimbursement for my tables, boxes and bags, or provide my missing things. Also, take mattress boxes, and 2 chairs.

If we do not hear from your company in writing, (we refused to communicate via phone), We will take our next legal actions.

They did not care to take our signature on receipt that most moving company requires upon completion of move. I have digital copy and as well carbon copy of the receipt when Joshua picked up his stuff.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1500

Quick to take money and be nice, no communication they will not verify any information once they have your entire lifes belongings, memories etc. Given false contact information, will not tell me where my belongings are, now currently 16 days past delivery date and still no contact. Have been hung up on more times than I can count, been told to not call back, been told to quit being ridiculous. I paid over 1 month before I needed the items delivered and had it way planned and still no stuff or any idea where it is or when or if I will see it. Had 2 addresses they were to pick up from and they sent 2 different trucks at same time and I wasn't even home at the one location and they took everything even items specifically marked not to take. Came home to cleaned out place and neighbors said my stuff will most likely be destroyed because of how it was carelessly handled. I can't get any answers and keep getting hung up on or ignored. At this point told it is in a warehouse and will not tell me where. Got multiple invoices with no company logo or anything just says customer care. Have emailed it back and absolutely no replys. Have reported to law enforcement, BBB, attorney general, federal carrier administration and obtaining an attorney. If you value your belongings do not use Mega Van lines as a broker or American relocation services. They even falsified their location was told in California and BBB says possibly Illinois!

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

These people ended up as my movers via some scammers called "Handle With Care" who claimed to be the actual movers. I was not made aware that American Home Relocation would be my movers. Anyhow, they contacted me via phone about payment and delivery of my stuff. The price was nearly double what was quoted by Handle with care. The customer service is terrible! Whenever I would call the number they provided, it was rarely ever picked up. I eventually got a hold of Lorraine C, the customer service manager, who is very rude. She hang upon me before I even said a word, and yet when I called her yesterday, she told me to call her today because it was "after hours". I called again today and she hung up on me. Assuming it was accidental, I called again and she quickly put me on hold. Eventually when I finally got a hold of her, she lectured me about my calling and she hung up. She was so moody. Every time Lorraine picks up the phone. I get put on hold. I think this is her polite way of hanging up. My stuff is due for delivery tomorrow and she literally did not talk to me at all and my questions remain unanswered. I emailed her and she said that she had other customers and would call me in a few minutes. I'm still waiting. They act like they're doing you a favor, and yet they're billing me $3,592. for a one bedroom move! I didn't even ask to do business with these people. You would think some decent customer service would be included in that price!

Was given these movers by America's Prime Movers. Was picked up on April 21st and still don't have my things. The movers went to Home Depot for 2 hours to get a tool to take my bed apart & get a box for the tv. They sent me to the ATM to get them $295 cash for add ons like tv box/mattress cover/packing dresser mirror. Left 2 hours after quoted departure time. I've been told by Jerry Whaley that my things haven't been delivered because "no one is leaving FL so the trucks don't want to come down" or "my FL truck was supposes to be back last week but he's not". Their customer service personnel has got to be the rudest individuals out there & all they tell me is "no updates on your delivery date" or they're "working on the schedule, call back tomorrow". Eli (the owner) told our brokers our stuff was loaded & in transit Friday 5/28...it is 6/7 & we've heard nothing from no one & when I call "customer support" they say it's still in their warehouse. Stay away at all costs!

On May 24, 2021, I spoke to Greg B. (Ext. 117). I asked him if American Long Distance Moving and Storage used their own trucks. He lied and said they used their own trucks. However, it was a broker firm. They outsourced my move. It was suppose to take place on 5/27/2021. However the driver did not show up from 5-8 as scheduled. I waited at my clinic from 4-9PM. The driver arrived the next morning. He could not begin competing the delivery until after the medical office saw all of their morning patients. The driver who found a random man from St. Louis to help him. As t hey were moving my items out, you could tell the experience was not there and it took longer than expected. With three fourths the move completed, his boss asked what was taking so long and to see the truck. The boss then asked to FaceTime with me and demanded additional money immediately. All the items were provided to Greg B. that were going to be moved and an estimate was provided. I was given an estimate for 68 boxes and I only had 25 boxes. I had 2 exam tables, waiting room chairs, 3 desk, file cabinets, etc. The movers came and midway through the move, the boss of the driver called, demanded more money, and I told him that I was quoted for 68 boxes and all the item mentioned earlier and that I do not have 68 boxes but 25. I told him I wasn't going to pay extra. He told his driver to move all of my items out of the truck and just leave them on the street. It was 9:30 when the driver unloaded my items onto the street. I had no way to move my items back up to the 2nd floor of my clinic. I left to go try and find someone with a truck to recover my items. I could not find anyone. When I came back at 6AM in the morning, all of my items were gone except a few things. The items had been rained on all night and were ruined. I called and spoke to

Bobby Sherman, Manager, of American Long Distance Moving and Storage, he said it was my fault, showed no sympathy, and refused to give me the insurance money to file a claim for my stolen and lost items.

They picked up my stuff on April 13th even after calling them everyday fir my stuff the staff was so rude. I did not get my stuff till June. My stuff was delivered by some random people who rented a truck and delivered. My boxes broken. When I had time to go through my boxes. Six boxes and storage full of my China dinner sets, my serving bowls and my silver anklets, bbracelets are all missing. I took me years and lot of money to collect antique vintage dinner sets. Wonder if they stole my stuff and sold it. Very very upset about this. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR THINGS.

My 81 year old Father-in-law still has not received his belongings that were picked up in Indiana on 4/29/21. These folks are very difficult to get in contact with. When he actually talked to someone named Brittany, all she can tell him is they are working on getting his stuff delivered. They are trying to charge him an extra $1000 for storage when he provided an Extra Space storage address in Georgia.

He’s been paying for an empty storage space in GA since late April.

Then Brittany called my father in law last week asking if he still wanted his belongings. What a condescending question? When she said he had to pay the remaining balance plus the $1000 storage fee, he asked her how can he trust that he’ll get his things since he’s had such a tough time with them, she said that she would send an email confirmation. My father in law said his lawyer would like to see it as well, so then Brittany hung up on him. I don’t know if the 5 star reviews are paid for. Or family and friends are posting positive reviews on this company’s behalf.

Do your due diligence and investigate before you select a mover. Read all the negative reviews. We wish we would have read the negative reviews on American Home Relocation. And also the broker needs to be held accountable as well. US Pro Moving and Logistics LLC is the broker that my father in law used. They have horrible reviews too. They have not been of any help to him. All they can say is they weren’t aware of American Home Relocation’s bad business practices. US Pro Moving shares the responsibility in this situation.

THIS COMPANY IS A LESSON IN SCAM ARTISTS WHO WANT YOUR MONEY BUT DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DO ANY OF THE ACTUAL WORK THEY ARE BEING PAID FOR.

I have been trying to get hold of someone at this company to figure out where my items are. I was told they had 2-7 business days from pickup to deliver my items and they never showed up even though I scheduled them for November 6. They said that I never paid them, but I did and it did not clear their system and I did not receive any call back to fix the issue. And because they do not have a record of payment from me until November 8 (the day I called them to find out where they have my items and discovered this payment issue) they have 35 business days to deliver my items. There is a good chance that I will not get my items until December 27, because at this rate I am unable to give them the benefit of the doubt and think that they will deliver any time sooner than they absolutely have to before they are able to be sued.

I was also told initially that they would hold my items on the truck rather than store them because it was only for one week, and found out today that my items were moved off of the truck and into their warehouse in Chicago. So not only are my things not where I was promised they would be, but I have to wait for them to have a truck available to drive from Chicago to Nashville which is going to be longer in the dispatch time.

I have worked with Brittany, Tara, and Monique trying to get this figured out. Brittany was the diamond in the rough in that customer service department. Tara no-holds-barred yelled at me on the phone and then hung up on me. Monique was no help, would not let me finish a sentence, and told me that I needed to "quit running my mouth".

I tried to figure out who the General Manager was over there, and was finally (after about five minutes) told that his name was Eli. I asked for Eli's phone number, and was told that he does not have one but I could call customer service and they can transfer me to him. Which means he has a phone number but they won't give it to me. Okay fine, instead I then I asked if I could have his email address and was denied that as well. I asked for a last name so I can try contacting this individual on my own, and was almost told that he didn't have one of those either but Monique caught herself and just told me that they do not give out last names.

So now my life is in their warehouse three states away, I am unable to live in my apartment because of it, and I have no idea when I will be getting my items.

I will be reporting this to the BBB, and will work every day to find my items and get them delivered.

We paid a broker based on a low ball estimate, meaning they quoted the job and then contracted it out to this company, but that's not how they represent themselves. They quoted $2200 to move a bed, a couch and roughly 10 boxes from Tennessee to Florida. The final bill was $3600 and the whole experience was disorganized and unprofessional. You get what you pay for so if you go with the cheapest option don't be surprised when the experience is subpar. Lesson learned. This company charged us $550 for a "long carry", meaning the distance from the door to the truck was longer than expected, but that's because they didn't talk to the apartment complex manager and politely ask to park closer for just a few minutes (we had just a few things to move). I wasn't there in person to handle it so I had to pay the $550 or they wouldn't leave the property with my stuff. I had to use Paypal to pay the driver but it kept getting declined because they thought it was a scam (!) I finally sent the money via Zelle. When the company called to deliver I wasn't given any options for the day and time and was told I'd have to pay an extra fee if I wasn't there when they delivered. I rearranged my whole schedule and then they were hours late in arriving. Then the driver told me there would be ANOTHER $200 service fee. When I told him to call the dispatcher he said, "They're not going to pay us anything, so what can you do for us?" I found out they were also a subcontractor (so broker, contractor, subcontractor) and told him I'd already paid $3600 for a $2200 confirmed quote so I wasn't going to pay anyone anything else. Most of my stuff was in decent shape but a mattress was only partially wrapped so the mattress cover was ragged and filthy. I won't be using it again. I think the reviews on this company are so uneven in part because so much of the work is contracted out to local guys or anyone willing to rent a truck it seems, so it makes sense that some experiences are good and some are terrible. For me, the takeaways are: don't assume the quote amount reflects the final price because chances are good it definitely won't, and if you take the cheapest quote you can find you're not going to have the best experience.

This is worst Moving company I have ever seen before. They really take sub contracts and give sub contracts with others. and no responses after pick up and get money. Initial quote never matches with what you end up paying. No customer respect. I suggest not to prefer this company, instead take any other company even price is more or less. Literally they take months to deliver by missing some of your stuff or they s**d your stuff. they take money and play with you.

Dispatch people or Pickup will come in the night by giving less than 2 hours notice. if you are not at home, it will be penalty for you again. No transparency, No customer respect, No guaranty on customer goods. no clean. Not worthy.

Whoooo let me first start off by saying this company IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER! I have never been talked to or dealt with so rudely. Daisy the receptionist and Alan the "manager" should just take up other jobs because customer service is NOT for them! I never even chose this company we were contracted to them through Quality Movers and had no idea! Had I would've known it was them I would've immediately said NO! Our things were picked up several days late, they tried to charge us extra fees, and now that I'm ready to receive my things they are nowhere to be found. I call them and all I get is attitude and lack of professionalism. All I wanted was a date for my things as it's been over 6 weeks since they've been picked up. I've had to contact the BBB, my lawyer, the police & the federal motor carriers just to get an answer because they've blocked our numbers and won't answer and now are holding our things hostage. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! They are NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE! JUST DRIVE IT YOURSELF! I have no idea how I will get my things and this is a complete nightmare because I can't even get anyone on the phone! BEWARE!! I would leave zero stars everyday if I could!
