We moved from IL to FL and to say I was nervous was a understatement. With kids animals and cars to move all the stories we had heard about moving had me scared to hire a moving company. I felt like a crazy person by the time the 4th person called me. The one thing I liked about the rep at Always Moving was that they didn't spend half the call asking and talking about who else I had spoken to. I did a visual walk through which I loved. I did add a few things later with the person who called right before my move. My rep went over in detail what the companys policy was for my move. 2 day pick up window, delivery time frame what would happen at pick up and delivery. What actually impressed me was that out of all the estimates I got she seemed to really focus on these details. I picked them because I felt comfortable with her and that they cared if things went right. THEY DID. They went over everything again before the move and when they came on pick up day the guys that came where amazing. The head guy James went over everything before they got started making sure I did not need to make any changes. They wrapped everything up so nice and neat. I should have taken pictures but it was a madhouse trying to keep the kids out of the way. I really had to say they were good with the zoo that was my house. The delivery was a little bit long but look what we are going through. What I appriciated was the constant ability to talk to them about delivery status. I would say all in all I would recommend this company to my friends and family so I decided to write a review. They deserve it!!

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this moving service was. We went online and entered a request to speak with preferred movers who frequented our particular route. Always Moving was the first company to call and we spent a very good amount of time speaking to our estimator. Our estimators name was Peter and he spoke to us at 1130 pm ET! That level of dedication speaks volumes about the company as whole. He explained to us what to expect and how to protect ourself in terms of laying out of estimate and further insuring our move. We communicated through call, email, pictures and even a FaceTime walk through. We felt so comfortable telling him exactly what we were looking for and he did everything he could and even went above and beyond and got the approval to do even more. The movers showed up on time just as they told us they would and they were all wearing masks and were very careful waking throughout our home. They were courteous and respectful. No last minute price changes and no funny business just professional movers doing what they do best.

Always Moving was quick to respond and even quicker to go through our inventory and get us our binding estimate. They are a team full of professionals and comprised of many departments that all play a role in each relocation. We were unsure of our move date but working with them that was not an issue. We had the flexibility to move our move date without an extra charge. We were always in contact with a member of the staff at all times. We spent a good amount of time going back and forth until we came up with what we thought was an accurate and full proof estimate. They also helped us transport our vehicle as well. Coming from people who did not have good experiences with movers in the past we cab honesty say this was by the far least expensive and most professional of any move we’ve ever had. Thank you everyone at Always Moving and if we do ever use an interstate mover again you will be our guest and only call.

When I found out that I needed a relocation service I went online instead of inputting my information I just reached out to the company I thought it would be the best fit for my personal move. The company that I chose was Always Moving and they did not disappoint at all. They are a well ordered organization with extremely educated sales personnel. They went over in great detail every possible scenario and disclosed every single charge up front. The last time we had to relocate we receive calls from over seven companies and it was nothing but a nightmare. Companies tried to badmouth each other and everybody seem to have a rebuttal for any question that I had. Always moving did not even mention other companies only what they can do for us and I was one of our deciding factors. They were honest from the start and honest to the end and just like they told us we did not pay a dollar more for our move thanks to the hard work they put in and the binding quote they gave us. If there’s one take away from this review which I don’t normally do work with reputable carriers avoid the brokers out there will convince you otherwise but instead of wasting your time do some research for yourself and find out why we were so impressed with the work of this company. Thank you everybody in every department in the work you guys all did was truly invaluable.

When we first started looking for a moving company we got calls from 5 to 10 companies. We were unsatisfied with what we were hearing back at the time and decided to go another direction. We went online and just searched for a company that already had a good reputation and was in good standing on the BBB and other various moving websites. Thats how we originally got hooked up with Always Moving. Our estimator was very accurate putting together our quote and we went through a few other departments that reviewed the previous one works so nothing slipped through and ended up as a last minute surprise. The service was great and the delivery came quick. We got updated on where our furniture was at all times even during the busiest time of year. It was a job well done all around.

We just received our furniture from Always Moving during one of the busiest and scariest times of year of the global pandemic. We wanted nothing more than to get out of California for a variety of reasons. We started to price U-Haul‘s and found that the price for U-Haul is almost double the price that we were receiving from Always Moving we were stunned. Always Moving did not harass us with phone calls or emails but they followed up on our time. They were always courteous and respectful and went the extra mile for anything that we asked for within reason. We did speak with a few other moving companies just to do a comparison of quotes and we found that overall we got the best rate, discount and service from always moving when it came time to make a decision. The crew that showed up was completely covered and they were in fact incomplete guidance with all CDC guidelines. We’re very nervous at first about having others in our home but they were quick but at the same time left no waste or any damage behind. They are absolutely a five-star company and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I paid $14,000 for white glove packing, unpacking and moving services from Northern Virginia to North Carolina. What I received were delays, damaged walls and stairs, and broken or missing items that have neither been recovered nor settled.

The company showed up two days late in a truck that was so old and nasty that it broke down before they could even get boxes loaded. I had done a virtual tour and shared the number of rooms I had, the stairs and furniture. They knew the size house I had. Yet, they showed up with a truck that was too small and literally told me it was that truck, or nothing. The truck didn't even have their name identified on it.

After delays and claims of being too tired to work, the crew finally got things packed. They literally threw fragile items in boxes that they did not mark, tag or inventory. We just had boxes with stuff in them that had no room or item correlation. Did I mention that they demanded extra money before they would start work because of my stairs - which I had already shared with the sales agent and during the virtual tour.

When they finally arrived in North Carolina they complained about the stairs again and demanded more money... in cash before they would move anything. After two days of putting boxes where they wanted them to be, the "leader' of the crew announced that his girlfriend decided to visit from West Virginia and he was leaving the crew. Not only did he abandon me, he also abandoned the crew and left them to work constantly till midnight. He arrived a day later, in a Confederate shirt and told me they could do no more and it was time for them to leave. The move was half done.

I have tried, without success to get someone to finalize the claim I filed. I sent pictures of the horrible packing and damage to both structures. I was asked by "Courtnie" in the claims department how much it would take to settle my claim. I told her and I have not heard back from anyone since.

They leave me no choice but to file a civil suit, contact the Department of Transportation, and the consumer affairs divisions of the attorneys general of both Virginia and North Carolina. In addition, I am filing complaints with the bBetter Business Bureau. I don't want anyone else to ever go through what I have.

Simply the worst of the worst. I have moved 9 times in 15 years for work, and Always Moving has been the only nightmare. Of course since they have my money, the company no longer answers phones, and everyone has gone ghost. They mistreated this wrong one this time. I will see this through to the end.

Run, don't walk away from these crooks.

They were late picking up, arriving with two rental trucks, not company trucks. Our items were to be stored for one week prior to delivery on 9/29/20. Truck arrived 10/1/20; again not a company truck. When unloading, they allowed a wheeled tool box to roll right out of truck. There were damages to numerous furniture, items missing and we received someone else's things. The truck left our drive after midnight. Filed a claim with 18 photos and NEVER heard back from the company. They didn't respond to the BBB either. VERY DISAPPOINTED in what was promised to be a smooth move, with 'every effort taken' to make sure we're satisfied (per moving consultant Sonya Clark).
