We relocated from Edmonton to Vaughan recently for work and used Alliance for our move. We dealt with the company rep Nelly why was wonderful to deal with and was always very responsive. She sent us a form to fill out, got a price and booked the moved. Movers called the day before to confirm times which was great and they arrived as scheduled. We received a call 5 days later to say that delivery was coming which was much earlier than we anticipated, but they were able to offer storage until we arrived. Great service, delivery crew was amazing as well.

I will move with them again when we go back to Alberta!

I wish I had done a better job of researching. I moved from Ottawa ON to Vernon BC. They misrepresented the amount of time it would take and changed the dates on me. The communication was horrible and incomplete. What they don’t tell you is they drive to a central location, offload everything, repack your stuff onto different trucks, and redispatch. The dispatcher called and gave me a delivery date which was fine, then called back to change it creating a time conflict for me. Then the truck finally arrived after no updates as requested. They extorted a tip from me (the dispatcher said I’d have to pay an additional $350 to the company for the few steps outside my door, or I could just tip the driver $100 - this after being told it would not be an additional charge!)They only sent 1 person to offload my stuff. I had to take my table apart myself and put it back together. He told me since the fridge ‘Didn’t fit’ through the doorway he couldn’t put it in the house. I helped him remove the fridge doors, we both brought the fridge in, then I helped put the doors back on. I also helped replace my front door, which took a good 20 minutes to replace. (Please keep in mind I am a small, retired woman on my own) I did tip the guy, who took over 4 hours to unload all my stuff, a lot of which he just dumped in the basement or random rooms, and he did not say thank you. I missed my commitment because it took so long - I had requested to have the original time given to me but was told no. Upon unpacking I found many items packed by them were broken.

Great Service! I would hands down recommend this company any day! We had a move from Winnipeg, MB to Montreal area. When we arrived circumstances changed and we were not able to move it. Alliance was able to offer storage and also re-delivered the items at a later date. The guys were so great at both ends. Even with so much snow (especially in Winnipeg) the crew worked non stop and helped us shovel the snow.

They packed the truck like pros and I was very happy to see that everything arrived intact and in great condition. Bravo to this team!

Prompt, efficient, and professionally. The entire task was completed in 1 hour, 35 minutes. The whole expense has me a little irritated because the initial move was supposed to take place over the weekend, but nobody showed up because of a human resources blunder. Despite the fact that we rescheduled and some reductions were given, the hourly flat rate travel cost was still around half what it would have been for labor. If you are making a relatively modest relocation, make careful to read the tiny print. Once more, the movers themselves were superb.
