Kelowna to Ontario move

We moved from BC (Kelowna) to (Markham) Ontario in the dead of winter of 2022. We received excellent service. Nelly was our rep and she was great to deal with and extremely responsive. Always had someone respond by phone or email which was great. The packing was well done by courteous professional team. The unloading team were equally professional and worked hard. Jack, our driver, and team leader, was very easy to work with. He kept us informed along the way and took inventory which was great. Left us with a copy once completed. He asked us if we wanted mattress covers and we did want those.

We have moved multiple times and had some very bad experiences but I would recommend this company to anyone. I was very impressed because the final price was close to the original quote which is always a concern when moving long distance.

Long-distance move from Creston, BC to Laval, QC

Small move to Quebec

I would completely recommend Alliance Van Lines to anybody doing a cross-country move. The driver for this move was Marco, and he had 2 helpers for the pick-up and they were so polite. Initially I had planned on renting or purchasing a trailer to move everything myself, but am so relieved that I found a company that was so affordable (not to mention meticulous) with my smaller load of about 2200lbs. I needed it moved from a small town in BC (Creston, BC) to Montreal without being able to be on the receiving end when the goods arrived at the storage unit. They were incredibly thorough in itemizing everything I was shipping and once I arrived in BC I couldn't believe how organized the storage unit was. I am completely impressed with the quality of service and would recommend them to anyone moving.

Overall great move

Winnipeg to East Ontario

Still unpacking, but so far a couple of minor dings to furniture, and one lost but quickly found sofa cushion, delivered the next day, they stayed within the advised pick up and drop dates, & time! Price came to what I was expecting!

Friendly drivers/crew!

Shout out to the amazingly patient Nelly! She was simply awesome to deal with, answered my many emails promptly.

Of course Ann first point of contact, made it easy and a pleasure, consideringhow stressedout I was booking last minute such a big move.

Long-distance move from Fort McMurray, AB to Candiac, QC

DO NOT USE!!

Worst experience, does not handle your belongings with care. Broke & damaged several furniture items which I had carefully wrapped (dining table, couch, elliptical, deep freezer) Additionally, several boxes were «smooshed » and it’s contents broken.

The claims process takes 3 months meanwhile you are expected to pay them in full ahead of time. Their poor service is very expensive & they dont care about their customers.

The absolute worst company ever.

Long-distance move from Alberta to Ontario

Terrible Unprofessional Experience

Recently used this company to move from Alberta to Ontario. The actual cost and quote were not even close. When the movers arrived we had to pay the balance before they would offload. Not only was every piece of furniture damaged but they also lost a number or boxes. These were items we can't replace that had great sentimental and monetary value. The company offered us compensation of $40 for items valued in excess of $2000. Do yourself a flavor and find another mover.

Long-distance move from Calgary, AB to Hamilton, ON

Lost stuff damaged stuff and not accountable

The first quote I received was excellent and then I forgot to put in an appt sized freezer that I paid $200.00 to buy and they wanted to him charge me $500.00 approx. I figured they misunderstood so send a picture with the weight. Nelly still said not changing. I called back to talk to a manager and they asked who I was working with I told them Nelly and they put me through to her she was mad. Did end up getting me a better price but now she was cranky. At the end of the day My quote went from just over 2000 initial quote to 7000.00 and when I tried to put in a claim (had to wait 10 weeks) the weight seemed to go down and they offered me $50.00. My white leather couches were disgusting - they didn’t wrap them, had so many things broken in boxes even marked fragile and official moving boxes they didn’t care they didn’t pack them; they had scratched my heirloom desk and matching ends tables, they lost stuff, they delivered me stuff that wasn’t mine which I told them about and they never came to deliver to the other customer and so much more. They were a nightmare - don’t be fooled by the beginning quote it’s just a scam to get you hooked

Edmonton to Vaughan

We relocated from Edmonton to Vaughan recently for work and used Alliance for our move. We dealt with the company rep Nelly why was wonderful to deal with and was always very responsive. She sent us a form to fill out, got a price and booked the moved. Movers called the day before to confirm times which was great and they arrived as scheduled. We received a call 5 days later to say that delivery was coming which was much earlier than we anticipated, but they were able to offer storage until we arrived. Great service, delivery crew was amazing as well.

I will move with them again when we go back to Alberta!

Long-distance move from Winnipeg, MB to Laval, QC

Alliance VL

Great Service! I would hands down recommend this company any day! We had a move from Winnipeg, MB to Montreal area. When we arrived circumstances changed and we were not able to move it. Alliance was able to offer storage and also re-delivered the items at a later date. The guys were so great at both ends. Even with so much snow (especially in Winnipeg) the crew worked non stop and helped us shovel the snow.

They packed the truck like pros and I was very happy to see that everything arrived intact and in great condition. Bravo to this team!

I’ve moved five times and this was by far the easiest. They showed up ready to work and stayed focused. Blankets, shrink wrap, straps — they used it all.
