Long-distance move from Norfolk, VA to Portland, OR

Not Legitimate with money

All mighty relocation is not a fare and honest company. I honestly trusted in them to help me move from VA to OR so I submitted my full Quote fee of over $1,700.00 on a Monday. I was then told I would have movers come by to pick up items on that upcoming Friday. However, due to unforeseen events I contacted them back on Wednesday (which in their clause states:if cancelled within 72hours that they keep 15% of the amount you originally submitted and return the rest back to you) but that never happened. When I called that Wednesday to cancel my reservation the receptionist had my account Information pulled up and told me they would forward my Information to the billing and sales department and that they would contact me with further instructions.

Two days later, (with no call or email from anyone )on Friday I contacted the business back and inquired about my previous conversation with a different employee I had on that Wednesday about my cancellation. Only this time I was instructed to send an email to their billing & sales team stating my cancellation in which I did immediately. In less than 30 minutes later I received an email back from them stating" because I sent the cancellation email 72 hours after I made the reservation , the full amount is non-refundable and that the only way to retrieve the money would be to use it for an actual relocation move with their company.

I called an emailed back explaining the full exchange of calls and emails from the original reservation date with their company to never get a response back. The reservation was made In June 2022 it is now August 2022 and still no answers or refund. To whom it may concern .I wouldn't trust this company

Long-distance move from Phoenix, AZ to Brookland, AR

Terrible company

This was the worst and longest experience I have ever been in. First, they up the price little by little until. Second, they took 32 days and that was with us calling everyday bugging them about where our stuff was. Third, they never even tied down our things so when the truck opened, things were everywhere. MANY broken items which they won't pay for. $300 discount that we never saw. Company rips you off at every corner!! They gave us excuse after excuse instead of being forthright with us. When they moved our beds, they were supposed to set those back up in new place. Nope. They unloaded the truck and left!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! I could say more but I'm trying to hold my tongue.

Long-distance move from Washington to Colorado

I am begging you guys- save your money, time, and energy.

My biggest regret was ever trusting this company. They have done nothing but pressure, belittle, gaslight, and ignore our pleas for help or communication. All of this could have been avoided if their support team had an ounce of human decency and was honest and upfront with us.

I spoke with an agent on the phone MULTIPLE times. What I left every conversation with was: 9-12 days on average to get where we needed to go, weekends counted, they did inventory checks three times(pick up, hold, drop off), that we needed to act now because they were SO busy that this was the only way we would be sure that we would get on a truck and get our stuff fast and that if we left at a specific date our stuff shouldn't be too far behind. *Note that our agent walked me through when we should leave and gave me a range- "held my hand" through this process letting me know that our stuff would get there before us and they could hold it until we arrive.

It was looking good- the movers were relatively nice. They never gave us an inventory count, but hey we don't do the inventory according to our agent so maybe that isn't the procedure. We move. We waited the entire week of promised delivery before calling.

Monday we call and the sweet girl called the movers and said hey you should hear from them BEFORE Friday- if not give us a callback.

Friday comes, and we call hoping for any kind of info: I'm told that I don't know how to count, explained what ETA meant and that there was nothing I could do.---- I called again an hour later looking for a manager. She explains that she will get a hold of the movers and give us an update. She would "light a fire under their butt" and We should hear back by Saturday.

Monday comes and we don't hear anything so I call, My mom calls and my roommate calls. We all get met with the same BS. We will contact the movers and get back to you. We even get sent their number! Except the number given to us is the wrong one.

Finally, I hear from the movers on Friday. They then show up at 8:30 pm on Monday. The movers are nice but they don't rebuild most of our furniture, and screws are missing. They didn't take inventory when they dropped it off or at least didn't tell us they did. Seemed weird at the time but they are professionals. The furniture we build ourselves is covered in footprints, damaged and missing parts. Frustrating but it happens. Since we work most of the week: we weren't able to unpack until the following Friday.

Come that weekend we find that we're missing some boxes. So I call the service number. Frustrated over the experience I ask for a manager. I'm refused because the rep wants to try to help. I explain the AWFUL service we've had up til this point and that we are missing some items. here are some things he said to me:

"Well did YOU take inventory?"

"How do we know you didn't lose it or forget to pack it?"

"Well, what do you want me to do about it?"

Amazing service on your hands here all mighty.

I ask for a manager once more.

"She's busy on another call right now. Can I have her call you back?"

They never call us back. I've already told him this. I re-explain this. I ask for any contact information- email, phone number

I get their community email and an operations email. generic and useless. While their manager is on such an important call that she cannot be bothered to help me(like she promised to do in the past) and this man is giving tons of unhelpful information I hear her in the background as she picks up another call. Finally, after talking in circles I say fine give me the emails and have her call me back. She never does.

Moral of the story: go anywhere else. There is a moving company with a man that sounds like Matthew McConaughey. If you're going to get screwed for 30 days at least get screwed by Matthew McConaughey.

From Beginning to End Flawed

DITTO what Nadene Marie said - Terrible!!!!! do not use them!!!

I used this 'broker' service as I thought I was going to have experts to move my items safely. I was lied to about what they offer, pricing constantly changed, and all my items were late and smashed to peices. They are hustlers, llies and give the worst costumer service ever!!!!!. They scam you, and protect themselves in there contract, so you never get a penny back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPONY-TERRIBLE!!!

Read more at: https://www.mymovingreviews.com/write-a-review/step-1

My experience has been the worst - Jordan is pretty much a front man to distract you form talking to anyone who actually has any authority.

He belittles you as you talk to him and you can hear someone woman in the background shouting and coaching him to talk to me even ruder.

Also they do not do the move they broker someone to do the move - so your items leave your home to go to a random strange company that you don 't have contract with. Once your items leave your home you're basically in the mercy of an unprofessional company that cannot give you a delivery date. I got a call less than 24 hours in advanced after calling for 3 weeks to find out where my things are? Very unprofessional.

Very Nice

Moving is stressful, but the All Mighty Relocation movers team is seriously the best. They come with boxes you pay for if you need them, plastic wrap for your furniture and mattress, and blankets to ensure no damage to your goods. Also, the price is extremely reasonable with no hidden charges. Highly recommend using them! The team is so lovely and helpful.

Good Work

Warren and his team are incredible, and if you're looking for a moving company, I agree with all other reviews and highly recommend this one! They were on time, friendly, efficient, fast, hardworking, and simply super good at their work. Thanks to them, we moved about 45 minutes away from LA, and it couldn't have been an easier move. None of our furniture was damaged, and upon arrival at our new home, they asked us where we wanted each item they unloaded from the truck.

Long-distance move from Manchester, NH to Harpers Ferry, WV

Don't walk, run away...

My 88 year old father selected All Mighty Relocation to handle a recent move (Nov 2022) from NH to WV, and it could not have been more of a disaster. Since All Mighty is just a BROKER, they don't actually have any skin in the game once the mover gets involved, and you get whatever crappy mover they can come up with. In my father's case, it was Allied Moving Group (not Allied Van Lines), some two-bit firm out of NJ that actually moved the property.

The disaster started with All Mighty drawing up the initial contract, telling my father that to move his three-bedroom apartment would cost $5,800 for 935 cubic feet. This was after the AARP/Veteran's discount. He thought it seemed a bit pricy, but agreed to it and signed the bottom line (before engaging me). I paid the initial deposit (via credit card) and they scheduled the move for the weekend of 11/19-11/20. The mover was supposed to call on 11/18 to tell us when we'd see them on Saturday. At 4PM, we were told that the movers wouldn't be there Saturday, but that we'd get a call on Saturday telling us when we'd see them on Sunday. Saturday afternoon we get a call telling us to expect them between 7 & 10 AM on Sunday, which was pretty inconvenient for my elderly parents, but they managed. They arrived at noon.

Before the lead mover had a chance to look over everything my parents were moving, he pulls out a new contract with Allied's letterhead, telling me the job would now cost $11,000 and that we had to pay half of it up front (minus deposit), and the other half on delivery. And, the only form of payment they would accept was cash, venmo, paypal, zelle or cash app, despite the fact that their own contract stated cash, check or credit card. Typical bait/switch and we didn't have any options. Cancel and we'd lose the deposit. Plus, my folks had to vacate the apartment and we had no other last-minute options. Fortunately, I was in town to help my parents pack and assist with the move, and was able to cover the bill. Had I not been there, my parents would have been screwed. So, after about 4 hours of work, the 26' box truck is loaded and they haul it all away.

About two weeks later, Allied decides to deliver the goods (The mover's contract states that they have 30 business days to deliver it, unless you want to pay extra). But, Allied had transferred the goods from the box truck to storage, and from storage to a semi before sending it. After getting the property to WV, they decide that they can't get the semi to the house and had to transfer it back into a box truck, for another $1,800. And, what was All Mighty's response to all of this? Crickets. They set us up for failure. They couldn't tell us anything thing about the status of the move after Allied had my parent's property and deferred everything to the mover. The only time they had any info for us was when the mover wasn't able to get in touch with me, while delivering the property.

You have been warned…

Long-distance move from Manhattan, KS to Chicago, IL

Almighty movers (3rd party mover without any power)

Initially, when they made a quote with me, they listed out all the items as inventory. They play games with you where they pull out rules never mentioned before.

Initially, during the quote, the company said that they could even take a couch and 18 boxes with me (no mention of sizes) and finalized a price. They decided, weeks ago, when the driver will be at my place. So, I booked my flights for the next day. The driver told that because of some problems, he couldn't be there that mentioned day. I had to leave the place and requested my busy friend to be there for the loading. The things that were promised in the inventory, not half of them went through and the driver started quoting extra. I was already in a different city, so I told my friend to just go for the basics. He loaded those and added extra 75$ for fuel sth because he couldn't park right infront of my apartment.

Then, I scheduled for a day to move in. All they say is the driver will contact you a day prior. I had been telling them that I have to book the elevator weeks ago, at least inform me about this. No, the driver doesn't pick up the call and they answer in a very rude tone that they don't have any power. If you guys don't have power, don't take the work. Finally, the driver told me he will be with my stuff at 12 on sunday. I waited for him when in the final moment, they bailed and told it was going to be Monday, as if people don't have any other work. I informed I couln't take it on weekdays because I have to be in my office. The van lines requested to work through, and I helped to the best I could. They never tell you the exact date. I managed everything with them. The drivers arrived and messaged me (I had already warned I would be in the office and to contact the receptionist for the unloading area). I replied after half an hour only to realize that they had already left and can make it again at 2pm (when I clearly told them, the elevator is booked till two). I am calling the company, the driver and god knows who all during to which they hardly answer. Finally, they told me the delivery was going to be on the weekend and I would get a call a day prior. Waited saturday, no call, sunday , no call. After which the van lines picked up the call to realize he had a family. If he had a family and wanted to spend a good sunday, why give the date in the first place and he quoted 500$ extra for redelivery. I called the company and all I hear again is "WE HAVE NO POWER". I literally had no money. So, I told i would come to the warehouse. The van line driver was very rude and unprofessional (the company claimed to be the best one). Finally, they agreed at the rate that was finalized. After the unloading, the drivers started measuring 75ft and if it was more they would charge me extra. I explained I don't have any money and drop it wherever they could. The only good thing that happened were the final drivers who decided to help. Finally, I got my stuff after numerous uncalled answers and mental torture.

They have given me such mental torture and trauma that I would never in my life even think about going with a moving company.

Finally, Almighty movers, talk about your rule and hidden charges in the initial phase. Maybe you think this is a good way to earn money, but to me this is complete fraud and scam. You guys should tell people initially that "WE DON'T HAVE POWER ", while taking the quote.

Long-distance move from Fort Myers, FL to Hawesville, KY

A total rip off, lost $4,000.00 and they did nothing

I engaged this company, and they first gave me a low ball price. After about 3 months of Chuck Donnelly, (their Manager) texting me about reducing the price, I called him back. The first quote I received was $6500.00. Then when I got the call back from Chris, it went to $9800.00. After I basically took off all my furniture, it went to $8200.00. I called Chris Donnelly about 36 hours later (after they took my $4,000.00 deposit) and told him to cancel the whole move, he told me to call customer service, I asked him the number which he gave me. I called, but since this was a Saturday night, no one was there until Monday morning. When I called Monday am, Christian told me they would refund my deposit within one day. Then I got a call from Racheal, and she told me I couldn't cancel. I told her I would get a lawyer and she laughed and said no lawyer or judge would take my case. She sent me an email that said since I did not send an email within 72 hours, I was not entitled to a refund....even though I contacted their manager within 36 hours, and did exactly what he told me to do. They refuse to give me my $4,000.00 back, and sent me an email saying they would hold the money for 12 months for an out of state move. This is a total ripoff. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
