This review is a warning---- All American Moving Company (as well as their vendors) do not value clients, and they are a professional thieving company. They will take 30 days to deliver your items. They use this time to go through your personal items to take what they want to distribute to their movers. The insurance company they use is a scam too! You file a claim, expect to get $10 - 15 dollars back. Those of you that have used them before...I recommend getting together a list of previous customers that have been robbed by All American Moving Company and filing a lawsuit against them.

Read my extensive review on Trustpilot. Names included are George, Aaron, James and Brian. They contract with a company out of New Jersey. Avena Moving can’t be trusted either unless you want someone to ask you if they can use the shower because they live in their car.

THEY HIRED THIEVES IN A UHAUL TRUCK

SCAM in Atlanta. These two thuggish guys showed up in a Uhaul truck. Demanded more money. A month later All American called and told me that my stuff is still sitting in GA because they couldn't "get me on the phone" Now I am waiting for them to call and demand more money for storage. I basically paid these assholes to steal my stuff.

BUYER BEWARE- RUN!

Thieves, liars, and helpless. Never felt so taken advantage of. I regret ever using them. They did nothing but make this moving process HELL. Their mangers are no help and their customer service is a grade F. They lie about their quotes and estimates. DO NOT USE THEM. There is a reason why they have shitty reviews. SCAM; Illegitimate Business

PLEASE do your research and make sure you're reading reviews for the right "ALL AMERICAN MOVING, LLC".

I requested a quote for a cross country move from from CA to FL, and was quoted $2568.00 for a two bedroom apartment. I stated to Alexandra (my agent) that that seemed very low; but she stated that they work with carriers that are transporting other moves in same directions, and thus, able to provide lower rates than competitors.

After I (mistakenly) made a deposit of $624 to hold a reservation, I asked if it would be possible to to do a walk-through to finalize estimate, to which she responded: "Not to worry, I have your complete detailed list of items, so no need. The final bill will not fluctuate much from this $2568 estimate, this is what we do; we move people everyday". They give customers a 36 hour window to cancel move and to get their deposit back (minus 15% fee). The red flag was when she said there would be no prior walk-thru (I later called different moving companies that confirmed that's not a legitimate way of doing business and that the industry standard is to *always* have a walk-through to go over list of items prior to actual move date).

The week prior to the originally scheduled moving day, there were three different calls from ALL AMERICAN MOVING to go over the list of items, with different agents. It seemed odd to me, but I figured better be safe than sorry.But I also was constantly correcting them on the wording of the larger furniture.

However, by the last call I asked to cancel the move because the entire experience began to feel too shady, too many red flags, and too many reviews expressing the same situation (once I found the RIGHT company name when I dug deeper). However, they never confirmed the cancellation, either with me, nor PLYMOUTH VAN LINES, INC (they also don't notify you WHICH carrier the reservation is through until after cancelation window is over and only a couple of days before the move) as a way to lock you in/trap you into a transaction. The day of my original move date, PLYMOUTH VAN LINES called to confirm and I again explained that I had attempted to cancel based on concerns of being underquoted and red flags. When we went over

the detailed list of items, she said that there was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that the move would be $2568. In addition, the list she had- had different wording (i.e. instead of listing "dining room table" ALL AMERICAN MOVING wrote "small kitchen table"). This went on throughout the list of items, which was provided by ALL AMERICAN MOVING to PLYMOUTH VAN LINES. The carrier from PLYMOUTH VAN LINES, kept repeating the discrepancies item by item. I again, said I cancelled because this was not what I signed up for and ALL AMERICAN MOVING did not do the job I paid for (the $624.00 deposit). ALL AMERICAN MOVING appears to be modifying their language in an effort to grossly under-quote customers, and essentially trap them on their moving day, where most people can't cancel the move or have time to search for another company. This is not a legitimate business in that they are not doing their actual JOB to provide accurate (or at least a more close) estimate.

If you're thinking of using this company, please pause, and call other moving companies to compare. The gas price and labor alone, would be a major part of the final cost, so please do the math. Please do your research, send pictures of all items if they aren't willing to do a walk-thru (which any reputable company absolutely SHOULD do a walkthrough prior to moving day). It's so easy to get lured in like I did.

or you also feel you've been scammed by ALL AMERICAN MOVING, please CALL YOUR BANK to dispute charges and provide them with all documents and communications, contact BBB, and share your stories on any all review platforms to warn others so that they don't end up with charges for services they trapped you in at double, or triple the original quote. Moving is already very stressful and can be exhausting, and easy to miss crucial information when doing a quick Google search. Please research further. I hope this helps someone avoid an expensive mistake.

During my dispute with the bank, they responded to my bank stating that "refused to provide reason". My hope is that their "recorded calls" are actually recorded because this an absolutely blatant lie. I hope that there's a way to obtain those recordings - not just in my case- but with those who've been wrongly charged.

My stuff is hostage 0 stars negative stars

They hired a company that changed all the numbers on moving day trying to add $1000 to the quote saying my square footage was wrong based on what was present. I had an itemized list which they would not accept

I get across the country and they want cash or money order but state they'd take zelle. Half my items are still in a storage unit back at home bc they refused to take them. I can't get cash bc my bank won't allow a large withdrawal across the country. They state they'll take zelle but zelle get flagged too. Last payment of $1100 is now pending in bank account and they want me to pay $150 for "making them wait" plus $450 storage fee plus $650 redelivery fee. My $2700 move is now a $4400 move after all changes. They've gotten $1750 of it and won't give me my belongings even if I give them the $1100 bc they want the outrageous fees too. DO NOT DO THIS. Will be filing complaint with BBB for both companies. DO NOT USE ALL MOVING SERVICES NOR ALL AMERICAN MOVING COMPANY. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND LIKELY YOUR BELONGINGS TOO.

Found the entire process outstanding- from communication on scheduling, to pick up, to delivery- all as promised. Rate was a bit higher as I estimated my cubic ft but we’re fair in the additions which were warranted. Professional, communicative and reasonable. Couldn’t have asked for more from them.

Bad experience, bad customer service.

They are impossible to reach over the phone. My phone calls were placed on hold for more than 30min every single time. They choose another carrier so you are not dealing directly with them but with another company. Terrible customer service.

Awful.

This company is an absolute shit show. They show up five hours late with no call, underquote you so they can bait and switch you, and their staff is useless and rude. Save yourself the hassel and pick ANY other moving service. They are sketchy and I would leave no stars if I could.

Worst experience I've ever had

While some of these problems are with All American and some are with the carrier, all of my problems stemmed back to All American. It's been two years since I moved and I'm still upset about it. Never again. Here we go.

-No one told me before making the deposit that it would be 1-5 business days before delivery. In fact, All American insisted right up until day of pickup that it would be delivered same day or next day. That did not happen

-My contract was a link that expired, not a PDF. This means when I wanted to check my contract to see if the 5 day delivery time was mentioned, I could not access it. I asked several times for an updated when, and I either heard nothing or received the same broken link. At any given point, I had little to no paper trail.

-There were wayyyyy too many points of contact. I spoke to 2 different people at All American and 3 people at the Century Moving. They all had slightly different/conflicting information. They also all pointed to each other when I asked direct questions. I only got direct answers when I lost my temper.

-Two people, one at All American and one at Century Moving, said that they might or will work on the weekends. When I spoke to the foreman directly, he said they never do this.

-After two different inventory lists where my estimate went up by a few hundred dollars (which was to be expected), when the carrier actually picked up my stuff, it was over by 400 cubic feet and added an extra $2000 to the total. This was blindsiding. I had to pay it because they had already loaded up my stuff, but how can the inventory estimation system have been so off??? Additionally, I only found out upon delivery that the extra stuff had been charged at a much higher rate than the original stuff. No one told me this ahead of time, and the mover did not explain it when he told me the upcharge.

-Every question I asked about timing was answered with a vague window. A few days before, 1-5 days, between 12 and 4. When I tried to get a more specific time, they just said "we'll get back to you" and never did. When I finally lost my temper and insisted on a clearly scheduled time, they still only gave me a range of 5-6 in the morning.

-I was told by Century Moving that we would receive a phone call one hour to a half hour before arrival for pickup, which could have been as early as 5am. I convinced them to push it to 6 (since we are not morning people) woke up at 5 am for a phone call that never came. The carrier arrived at 6:15 with no warning.

Its shame to use names for “All American” moving this company/ broker is “horrible” and “beware of scam”

As soon as take your deposit all steps rely on third parties' no-responsibilities for your moving. I had reported to Sheriff Department for lost our household items, finally, takes over 45-days to deliver the broken items.
