They are scam, don't hire

This company is scam, they charge your more and service is worst, owner Miss Sophia (kind of greedy) and her front man Jason play games with customer. Please hire these mover. Sophia is worst and Jason is kind of show boy. When their movers mess you up, Janson ran away and you ending up deal with worst owner Sophia. I had to file police report against all there of her employee (driver and two of his assistant) due to their non professional , criminal and abuse behaviors. She hire criminal to do the moving job, we ending up hiring two man and the truck, Sophia mover ran way with our stuff and through is some small storage ,lot of our expensive stuff got damage. AAA in DALLAS are the worst mover, don't hire them period.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, Overall horrible experience!!

I was told by the company they " do a full background check on all employees and they are also Certified movers. and No we do not hire temp help, everyone is employed by the company. " Unfortunately the people that showed up to pick up my stuff were concerning. They said they just put the sign on the side as it was required but it was not an issue it was paper taped to the side of the truck DOT # 2552196 MC# 889337. They did not have the correct tools and due to this broke a table leg that is not repairable and told the people that picked it up from storage I knew about this. They lost boxes. But the best when I called they laughed about me being annoyed and 1 month later I am still waiting for the insurance papers to place a complaint. Also I was told on the phone I could pay by credit card all of it. Movers get there and say not, but they took a personal check and informed me it was ok to do this at the end too, but it was a different company bringing my things and they did not accept personal checks.
After I payed the booking if I called or emailed it was like I was bothering them and then after all the issues they do not care, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Very satisfied Overall with AAA.

I had a great moving experience with AAA, the price was great, the movers worked efficiently and did a great job wrapping all my things. My house closings were 2 weeks apart, and they even let me use their premises for temp storage for free.. that was awesome! The delivery went very smooth as expected. The movers brough all my things to the new house, put all the beds together, placed everything whrre we asked, and I really couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. I was a little hesitent because of some of the bad reviews, but as I look into the reviews a little further, I saw where the miscommunication came about, not from the company's part, so I made sure I was very thorough on all I needed and what I was expecting. Worked exactly as it should have, perfect.

Do Not Ever Trust This Company!!

The entire team is a group of liars with no integrity or customer service.
The beginning of my relationship with AAA was great. Mike was extremely responsive, offered a great price and even offered 2 months of storage versus everyone else's 1 month. That's where the good news ends.
Their guys were about 5 hours late to pick up our apartment's belongings. When they got there they sat outside on a break for about 45 minutes because they had just come from another job. About 6 hours later they finally collected all of my belongings. Honestly, they were the most reliable of the group.
Dealing with Mike and Jason once our shipment was with the team was possibly the worst experience of my life. Mike fell off of the planet.  I couldn't get anything more than his voicemail for over a week. When I finally spoke to him, he GUARANTEED delivery on or about the 16th of June. Jason hung up on my pregnant wife and told her "here's your customer service" when she tried to nail down an ETA. Easy to be a bully from 1700 miles away. When I finally got the company owner, Sofia, on the phone three weeks later, my belonging that were apparently forgotten about took off en route. She didn't think any compensation was necessary because she helped me once I finally spoke to her.. that's good business practice, right? Hmmm..
My belongings, which were supposed to arrive between the 5th and 7th of June, are just getting to me today, JULY 2ND!! But wait, there's more. This dream team brought an 18-wheeler into Philadelphia and then charged me an additional $150 because they realized that it wouldn't fit on a city street. To provide context, we're not talking about a side street, but an extremely well-traveled street that 100's of cars, trucks, ACTUAL MOVING TRUCKS, etc. travel through each day.
So where am I today, you ask. I saved $200 versus the closest competitor, but since I had to live out of hotels for about 3 weeks, I ended up losing about $3000 on the deal.

PEOPLE: Take your money elsewhere. This company belongs out of business and has 0 consideration for the fact that you are trusting all of their belongings to them. Learn from my mistakes. You'll save yourself a lot of money in the long run.

Moving Services.

Furniture was damaged upon arrival. Pictures of damaged items were furnished to the local Dallas office (Sophia Harris). I filed a claim (No: 320-336) with AAA Moving insurance (CSI Carrier) that included specific instructions of (1) pictures of the damaged items, and (2) comparable replacement costs with specific weight of each item. Damaged items included 3 bookcases, 1 was a 150 lb custom build, 2 other smaller ones, and a refrigerator door (dented) preventing proper closure on the refrigerator door. The final claim was submitted to CSI for $159.00
After 90 days of no response from AAA, CSI provided the attached letter.

(I left 3 phone messages, for Sophia, of which none were returned)
The claim was never resolved. DO NOT use this service!!
BTW - The driver of the truck moving our furniture did NOT possess a commercial drivers' license.

Worse Moving Experience.

A word of warning to folks that are deciding to move. Please do your research thoroughly and consider the ratings and reviews from other users. This was a complete nightmare. You truly get what you pay for.

My experience with this moving company is not something I would wish on my worst enemy. None of my boxes were missing or damaged, but my furniture was another story. However, the movers were exceptionally nice, but that's because they are a third party contractor and do not work for AAA Moving & Storage.

The reinforced steel frame and both my meals were morbidly bent, leaving my tv stand to slant at an angle. I paid to have my luxury plush cashmere mattress placed in a box. I was charged $63 along with the ridiculous 3% credit card fee and of course tax. It came in a half plastic wrap, was soiled and ruined as seen in the photo. When I had to repeated ask them to reimburse me, which took three weeks later, I was told only $63 would be reimbursed and not the credit or tax fee, as this came from my original deposit. However, this was not part of the original deposit. It was tacked on when the movers arrived to my apartment. This is an unfair and unethical practice.

Lastly, my bed arrived with the frame with the exception of the center support beam, the wooden slates and missing screws. I now have a useless Queen Size frame, until I can find a carpenter to replace the missing materials.

I placed a claim with CSI, the mediator for the moving company and of course they denied my claim for the bed, as they could not find or justify the weight, even though I had included in the link and pictures from the furniture company.

Overall, I had to replace my mattress, bed frame and tv stand for $5,000. Had I know, I would've taken the offer with Allied Movers a reputable company.

Please don't fall for their gimmick of ratings from HomeAdvisor, Angie's List or BBB. If you read through the complaints, you will see none of their pass issues were resolved.

They are not a moving company. They are a company that contracts out to third party movers that are not reputable. So after they have your contract and money, they do not care what happens to your belongings.

I'm sure they will respond to this post with a rebuttal as they have on every negative review.

AAA incompetent movers.

This so called moving company is fraudulent . They are liars and very deceptive. They are very incompetent and cover up by lying and being rude to their clients. The employees hang up on you once they collect your money. They never deliver on time, more so, they destroy your things. It took them almost 2 months to deliver my property after they picked up. Most of the items were broken and destroyed. Their drivers are rude and unprofessional. I was charged extra $400 just because their drivers claimed that they could not navigate into the apartment complex. They parked the moving truck on the street and charged me extra $1 per square foot to bring my things to the apartment. They did not re-assemble the furniture they dismantled as per the prior agreement. Please don't waste your time and money on these incompetent liars.

Outstanding Service!

AAA Moving did such a great job on our move that I wanted to take time to write a review.  The price was very much a savings compared to the other quotes I had obtained. I liked that everything needed was in an all inclusive package (we choose to have packing services performed also). The team packed us up within a few hours, and before I knew it, the house was empty and we were ready to head over to our new house. There was no extra charge for a stop along the way to our storage, so that a big plus with us (other movers were saying like $100 extra for the stop). The delivery and set up in the new place was a breeze. They assembled all the furniture back together, and placed the boxes in the rooms marked. They just did an all around outstanding job. I would use this company again. .

Terrible Moving Experience!

This was the worst move I've ever experienced and paid well over $7,000 for (I was moving a little over an hour away)!

I had them store my stuff in their warehouse for 9 days since our new house wasn't completed on time; they guaranteed me that everything would stay together and nothing would be lost. That wasn't the case.. they lost a queen size mattress that they delivered the next day, the corner to my L-shaped desk which they never found, and 2 ladders that did turn up later.

I had them do all my packing, that was a big mistake and lots of extra cost. They ran out of packing materials (no surprise since they over-wrapped things that didn't require that much attention and took us forever to unwrap) and wrapped some kitchen items with my sweaters, some of which were expensive, then they had to come back the next day to finish the packing and again ran short of packing materials, so things were just thrown into their "U-Haul" truck like garbage. One of their workers got injured due to their negligence, and had to go to the hospital, so my husband, my neighbor, and myself had to finish loading the truck (we're 70 years old!).

So many items arrived damaged beyond belief: mirrors, serving pieces, hand-painted wine glasses, new washer & dryer, a curio cabinet, picture frames, chairs, modern sculpture, some china that was my mother's, entertainment center, and the list goes on. I went over this with Sophia, who I think is the owner, who said I could place a claim; however, they pay 60 cents per pound and I'd need to have receipts, weights, pictures of everything damaged, where and when they were bought, etc..

I chose to settle on just getting the few items, that were more easily replaceable, fixed or replaced. I sent pictures of just 4 items: the mirrored headboard to my king-sized bed, the mirror that goes into an entertainment center, the top portion only of the washer & dryer (so they wouldn't have to replace the entire units), and the damaged curio cabinet. I thought this was more than fair considering how much was destroyed.

I researched and sent them the best prices I could find on replacing or fixing these items, which came to about $1000; they would only offer $350. I accepted this offer since my husband felt we had spent way too much time, effort, and aggravation on this whole ordeal, but I did so with the intent of posting this review.

Spare yourself the nightmare that I went through with this company.. use another mover!
