The team was well prepared to move from a difficult high level apartment , stairs , balconies , hazards they took in their stride and in the end we got everything to the new place in perfect order and all in a day. It was such a relief have such professionals handling everything .
Thank you AAA for your outstanding assistance with our recent move. Rivan and the other guys from AAA City removalist, were excellent team from start to finish. They arrived on time, very professional, friendly and efficient. They handled all our items, including fragile ones and large furniture, with exceptional care. They used appropriate packing materials and techniques like using special bubble wrapping and mattress bags to protect our furniture. They managed to handle the unexpected issues as fitting the large items through the doorways. Despite the weather condition and the multiple staircases, they finished the job without any complaints.
I highly recommend AAA city removalist to all my friends. Thank you again Rivan and your colleagues.
I recently used AAA removalist and couldnt be happier with their service ,they were professional, friendly and clearly experienced, they managed to get everything done In a timely manner , they handled everything with great attention , even though it was a hot day they remined positive and hard-working
The were also a diferent company moving in tennants and AAA stood out , they looked professional and the truck was well presented and they had all the equipment that was needed AAA also cominicated in English which was refreshing ..I would defenetly recommend To anyone who needs a reliable moving company.
Amazingly smooth experience with these guys. It’s has been my fastest and most positive experience moving houses.
I was moving from 3 bedroom townhouse with 2 flights of stairs and outdoor area to a 2 bedroom unit. From 7am start we were done by 2pm with 2 people and one large truck in +30 degrees C weather. They took just a short 10 min lunch break and never stopped for chatting or smoking like most companies do. Wrapped delicate furniture before moving, carefully moved around corners. Would definitely use them again!
Thank you to the Fahid team of 3 super strong power men, who endured 10 hours of packing, shifting and heavyweight handling of my cluttered house move.
It was last minute booking, and I was in a rush and needed help. Fahid and his team were fabulous, at helping me pack ( 3/4) of my house, as I was so unprepared.
It was a hard job, but they powered on through professionally, and kept me informed along the way of their progress.
They were very careful with handling every item and positioned them were required .
One small wooden item cracked in the truck during transit, but nothing serious. They were open and honest about the situation, apologised , but I do not consider it to be fussed about. The item was cheap, so it’s no bother to me.
I have used AAA city removals at least 6 times over the years, and wouldn’t trust anyone else.
Tried to obtain a quote & was advised that whilst they don't quote they would give an indicative figure. Took details etc & provided a quote. On the day they turned up late, then brought a truck two small which resulted in two trips needed. charged for the additional kms & all the additional time. we moved a 3 br house without much gear (2 people, no kids) & this took them almost 8 hours. which cost approx $1600. they were [EDIT]. Items broken & not advised, 1 chair, marks in walls & floors, hit color bond fence. In addition to all of this only the driver could speak English & he was angry all the time, so no help. It was the most frustrating & expensive day. Do NOT on any circumstance use these Jokers.

3 men to move a 2 bedroom house in 9.5 hours with no lunch break, and only 500 metres up the road.
Got AAA to move a 2 br house in Newtown(meaning it’s a shoe box),500m up the road to a 2 br,2 storey house in Enmore.
Most of the boxes meant for upstairs were left downstairs(Wait didn't I pay the removalists so I don’t have to lift the heavy boxes upstairs?)Most of the items weren't even put in their labelled rooms.I provided a floor plan to the movers and labelled every item where I wanted it.
Mostly none of it was adhered to.Some big items like beds and mirrors were in the right place,I'll give that. But boxes and other items, none of it was in the right place.Boxes for the kitchen were in the dining room, boxes for the upstairs office were in the kitchen etc
I went to my old residence, they'd taken off the door stop to a bedroom for easier access and didn't put it back on.I messaged the mover and asked where he put the door stop and got no response. After I paid my whopping $1652 bill, that's the kind of service I got.No response to tell me where they'd put my stuff they'd dismantled. They took off the fly screen and glass security door, when I came back the door was still off. They just shut the gate and that’s it.I had no door
In the guise of trying to save me money they had to go to another job. They didn't reassemble any of my items and didn't bother to put anything where I wanted. My white leather lounge was turned upside down on the floor. They broke my 21st birthday present of a dragon statue(I paid an extra $200 to have everything that needed to be wrapped wrapped). The house was a disaster. Was so mad to get the call saying how long it took and was being charged.I even hired the extra man to make the job go faster.3 men to move a 2 bedroom house in 9.5 hours with no lunch break, and only 500 metres up the road.
The explanation was that they had to do a 2nd trip. What bollocks. If this was my first time moving this amount of furniture,I may have believed it.But I am, and everyone I’ve spoken to agree that the hours taken to complete the move is absolutely dumbfounding.

From the get go the service has been so professional. The staff on the phone who handled my call Minnie, then sending my email comfrimaton. Quality control calling and explaining my insurance options and T&Cs put my mind at peace. I wasn't even charged to reschedule due to my settlement date change. On the move day the driver called 40 mintues before arrival. This gives me time to prepare the kids. The movers arrived in uniform and where Indian which I had concerns as I had heavy items. Man was I wrong all day they just kept going. I offerred water and lunch and they didn't stop. They where polite wrapped and covered my items with blankets. The most important handled with care. BIG thank you to Ahmend and the team at AAA City Removalist. I even received $25 off the total bill. I paid $90 per hr plus 5% fuel leve and return travel I got every dollar worth and should of paid I felt more.(Just me) Any Time Any Day AAA if you need a reference Cheers.
We sincerely thank you Peter for your positive review of our services. We look forward to the opportunity to be of service to you and your friends when you next elect to move. Thank you once again.

Firstly, the two people who picked up some of our furniture and delivered it about 5 hours away did a faultless job. 5 stars for that part.
Unfortunately, the company itself let us down and really said "sorry, you're on your own now, we don't have a plan b". Let me explain. A key reason that we went with this company was that they would deliver furniture to charity if required. They guaranteed this. We needed the guarantee because we're selling. The furniture needed to go to the charity that day. No one turned up. We rang. "ahh, he should have rung you by now but he will definitely be there". We rang again. "ahh, we can't get on to him right now but he'll definitely be there just after lunch. 3 pm we ring again. "ahh, he will be there because none of our drivers finish until the job is done. 4.30 pm we ring again. "mmm.. he should have contacted you by now, I'll follow up and get back to you". 5.15 we ring again and ask - what's the plan b? "That's exactly what we're working on, I'll definitely ring you before we close at 6pm". 6.11 we get an email "we're sincerely sorry". 6.13 we ring again "No, there is no plan be. No we can't deliver your furniture even tomorrow [30 minutes worth of packing] to a storage facility that you're paying for [7 minutes away]. We just don't have anyone available."
If you engage this company, have your own plan b.

AAA City Removalist, third time I have use them and once again I could not fault the service. Completely professional and organised. It could not have gone smoother. They are just superb on their services. What you need is what they give you. Each and every your penny you give them is worth it. You just need to give them instructions and relax. They'll do whatever you said. Reliable and efficient. I'd recommend them to all. Well done and thank you! I move all the time so I will be ringing you again. .

A one bedroom move to the suburb next door cost over $1,000! The last time it cost me less than half that! They deliberately stood around doing nothing trying to chew up time. Damaged the carpet at the pickup address and wrecked my dryer. When I queried about both issues, the removalist became physically aggressive and told me that because he had tattoos of Jesus on his arm that he couldn't possibly be dishonest! I kid you not! Don't use!

This was the worst moving experience I have EVER had. They arrived and initially refused the job even though we had fully briefed the company and confirmed details the day before. Three men showed up when we had booked in two. They were so slow, my partner and I lapping them and they are the professionals. We had only 5 items on the 1st floor of the apartment, everything else we had moved to the garage ourselves in the days beforehand and it took them an hour just to load those 5 items. They were rude and went even slower when we asked if they could pick up the pace. Hidden charges everywhere, and they had the gall to charge my card (as they demanded my card details before they began the job) before even showing me an itemised invoice. The employees and subcontractors are apparently under a code of conduct which is complete rubbish. One man decided it was too hot and walked around our backyard in his underwear (seriously). There was no professionalism displayed at all throughout the day. Almost all of the plastic tubs we used were broken, cracked or had the handles missing. A custom built timber coffee table was scratched. I called the office to complain and was told by two staff members that they would not hear my complaint unless I emailed them! I did that and have given them a week to respond and they haven't. TERRIBLE service. Use at your own peril.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us why our service did not meet your expectations.
We value your business, and would like to address your concerns as quickly as possible.
I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience we have caused you.
It is my goal to restore your confidence in our company by solving this problem and preventing it from happening again. We have brought the removalists in for customer service for training.
Thank you again, for your honest feedback. I hope to have the pleasure of serving you again in the future.

AAA moved my 3 bedroom house with safety and care from wrapping up my fragile items to dismantling and reassembling my furniture. At first I was concerned about the current situation surrounding Covid 19 and if that would impact my move. However the re-assurance I received by knowing that the removalist have guidelines in place from wearing mask and gloves definitely place AAA on another level from the rest of the removals out there. Thanks AAA City Removalist for making my experience smooth and stress free. I will without a doubt recommend my friends and family. Job well done!
Thank you Nikita,

Moving during times of uncertainty truck 21 Ahmad called 30 minutes before arrival so got time to get the kids squared away. They arrived wearing masks and gloves. I pointed out to removalist what I wanted to move and left and returned once they were 1 hour our from finishing to check. Delivery point we ask to load large items inside our apartment and left boxes quarantined in our storage. They washed their hands and were always checking on distancing. I paid an extra on the time but it was worth the peace of mind for my children and family. Our move was a three-bedroom apartment form Caringbah to 3 bedroom apartment in Northern Beaches. The staff on the phone to the crew everything went as planned, moving is stressful thanks AAA City Removalist for job well done.
Thank you Anna for your positive review of our services; it was our pleasure serving you. Please refer us to your friends.

The worst experience of my life. Got a truck and three men. Well only one was, the other two were hopeless. One came in thinking he was on holidays, the other had only been working for less than a month, and within 1 hr complaining started, and it continued all day long. I quote “You had a steep hill“ fact it’s a driveway going up - It takes 15 steps walking up until it levels out. To their luck, they only had to walk down wheeling items - yet they complained. They wheeled two small boxes slower than me carrying a box. Complaining again “the bedside table is heavy” Yes it’s timber and all they had to do was pick it up and place on trolley and wheel it - I can lift and carry it (not heavy). Then they complained again about moving a desk - it’s heavy yes it’s solid timber - I have carried with a male friend up a flight the stairs on numerous occasions, but nope “it’s heavy” so I moved the table with the only guy who didn’t complain. Once the “complainer” realised that a girl could lift the thing - he changed his tune. Complained about walking up a flight of stairs as well - yes it was in the job description, hey we complain about everything so let’s complain about the stairs as well. Took their time - yes it’s a hourly rate - hence work slower make more money mentality.
Then the extra fees which was never quoted at all in the price.Walking up a drive way is too hard so let’s charge extra. Charged for wrapping a fridge and a cabinet in bubble wrap - they were not wrapped in bubble wrap, they were wrapped in a blanket and used my tape!! Apparently they charge you for using your stuff!! Extra for pot plants which I carried one of them - cause they complained again - “it’s heavy”, and 4 cabinets - I don’t even own 4 cabinets! Hey because “they say” “it’s heavy” we can charge extra! Warning they will not tell you!
Asked to place all boxes in unit to go through. Nope could do that either. Dumped 1/3 of them in a garage, until I told them to bring them all back up again - remember they work on a hourly rate, so they will not follow instructions cause if we stuff up we can charge more! Got to watch that hourly rate. Then they dumped all the boxes at the from door, they will not read the top of boxes to put in correct room. Coffee table left on side, side table was left half sitting on a angle on top a filing draw. All up it took me two hours after they left to create room to move, fix up filing draw and put back in desk, put coffee table down from its side, and move the boxes around and fix up the living room so I could sit down!
Now the damage: Chunk of fibre glass out of paddle board, dents in surf boards. Damage to painting which I asked to be wrapped in a blanket twice - not done.($1,600) Massive scratches on timber floor for dragging the wardrobe across the floor - god will only know the cost for that. Damage to Paint work in newly renovated apartment, and I haven’t even checked everything or even got to the boxes yet.
The driver is completely rude, and fluffs around the majority of the time. There was only one guy who did the majority of the work and he couldn’t even speak or understand English that well, was a great worker, so he deserves a credit.
Now the texts messages from so called driver, after I check the bill - yes you have to sign at the start - no going back now, and you then have to pay before they even finish - stupid move. I sent a photo of the bill to the driver with a question mark questioning all the extra charges - was not told by management of these so called “extra charges” only on the job after they arrived - then agreed not to charge. But they charged anyway. Yes they want more dollars. So when I questioned it. No answer - surprise, surprise. Response just a forward text message about the job details which explains in plain writing about the flight of stairs that he complained about walking up. Then I asked him to get his boss to call me (still no call). Then I sent a text message the next day about the damage to my painting - yes I’m reporting it as the driver asked to report if there were any damage. Response “Regardless of this we worked..” then complain about the job yet again in 9 different texts. His last text “You are harassing me” say WHAT?!
I’m sure this story will continue - I’m still waiting on the phone call from the boss.
Thank you Lara for expressing your views. It is disappointing to read a non factual and quite frankly a dishonest account of the move. Our response will be tapered in the interest of common decency. We sent you a 55 cubic metre 14 tonne truck suited for a 4-5 bedroom home. Your unit was a two bedroom, yet you were not surprised when the truck wasn't large enough advising you knew you had a lot of stuff. Furthermore, the removalists had at least a 120 metre walk from truck to premises on level two with stairs and no lift, notwithstanding the fact the truck could not reverse up the driveway due to an incline of no less than 20 degrees. To further compound the difficulty of move, the removalists had to put up with erratic and foul behaviour where they were greeted with, "you are doing a wonderful job" and offering them drinks, to minutes later yelling and cursing throughout the day. The removalists advised head office they did not feel comfortable due to your irrational fluctuations in behaviour which was inappropriate for a lady and asked for help from the office. A supervisor attended the relocation. Once some sort of sanity was restored, it became quickly apparent the whole charade was centred around budget. Once we mitigated your concerns and met your demands, only in the interest of customer service, you were quite ecstatic with the boys and office. You gave them a sizable tip and promised them a positive review. We don't normally answer customers in this tone, but quite frankly, this review is simply not fair. I respectfully urge you to reconsider and take it down.

We were very happy with our removalists Arthur and marten We needed to move with very short notice and the booking process was very simple and effective. I was extremely impressed with how quickly I was able to secure the booking and have arthur arrive within 24 hours. They both worked extremely hard all day in what was quite a difficult relocation with challenging access and many items to move.
They took extra care of some of our delicate items by wrapping them to avoid marking, which they did without me even needing to ask.
Very good attention to detail.
Thank you Arthur and Marten - appreciate your service for our family.

I warn others in no uncertain terms against using AAA City Removalist.
I recently employed the company to move from houses in Sydney, from a two bedroom house to a two bedroom flat. The quoted price for such a move was around $460. I thought that it was entirely in line with the price of similar moves with an equivalent amount of stuff that we had moved in the past. But the day could not have been worse, with the following events:
1) The biggest problem: The truck that we were sent was far too small, such that only 2/3 of our furniture could be moved. The company asked for an itemised list, which we sent – and have now double checked for its accuracy. The next weekend we had to hire a second truck at our own expense to move the considerable remainders of our stuff. Not wanting to risk AAA, we drove it ourselves. Note that we were not even provided the service that we requested.
2) The movers were entirely unprofessional. The signs were already there when they rang us at the latest time they were due to arrive (previously stating they would be there between 8.30-9.30), telling us at 9.30 that they would be there in an hour because they were ‘getting breakfast’. After arriving, there were extensive periods in which the staff were not moving anything, a point noted independently each by myself, my wife, and a friend who was offering a hand for the day. Following an unbelievably long truck-packing time (over 2.5 hours!), we attempted to institute a more efficient unpacking of the truck, but these suggestions were rebuffed. We continually stressed that we were running long behind schedule, and that the $$ were stacking up, but this didn’t help. In the end, the move – of a two bedroom place – took over seven hours. Much more time was spent by the people swearing and arguing concerning how to pack the truck, rather than actually moving things. The next weekend, when we did it ourselves, we were working 4x as fast.
3) To compound matters, my friend and I had moved out fully 2/3 of the furniture onto the front lawn next to the truck by the time the removalists had finished moving the 20 odd boxes. These items were placed less than 2m from the truck. Of furniture, all that was left for the removalists to move from the house were 1x arm chair, 1x 2 seater lounge, 1x fridge, and 1x washing machine. Everything else was moved by us! By the time the staff had moved these items, my friend and I had already moved everything out next to the truck, and then moved it back to the garage to be taken another day. Even then we were sitting around waiting for them for an hour following this! This was also the case on the other end for the unpacking. My friend and I contributed significantly more to the removal than the staff employed. Even in rebuilding the bed, my friend refixed three legs in the time it took them to do one. I note that he did such a bad job on that one leg that the bed frame broke a week later, and had to be replaced at considerable expense.
4) The staff seemed entirely inexperienced. In addition to the above (not knowing how to pack the truck, not being efficient at all in packing or emptying the truck, dismantling and rebuilding the furniture, etc.), the staff left behind a large number of items at both the residences. Strewn about were shrink wrap tubes, tape, gloves, scissors, padded quilts, drink cans, and other rubbish.
5) Despite the $460 initial quote, the company ended up charging us … $1377! For an unfinished job, as well! Add to this the $250 we had to pay for the truck the next weekend, and we ended up spending four times the estimated price!!
We later brought this up with AAA, who then continued to say that they had done nothing wrong, and treated us like we were being unreasonable. In the end they admitted us no liability, and offered us the piddling amount of $250 for ‘good will’ – an amount which only just covered the extra truck we had to hire!
To summarise, we paid quadruple the estimated price for the privilege of doing most of the work ourselves, and we didn’t even get a complete order! We cannot warn you away from this company strongly enough. I have never been so overcharged for anything, let alone an incomplete job, in my life!
Hi Anthony,
We understand you have the right to post your review, however your review is not a factual account. Your partner sent through an email on Monday 31st August requesting a quote for a 1-2 bedroom. Your pick up address at 24 Martin St Hunters Hill was not a 1-2 bedroom, it is a 4 bedroom home with a garage. You who made an online booking. The inventory that was sent had no dimensions, as such, unless you have had filled out a proper storage calculator from our website, then it is to be assumed that your furniture was small enough to fit into a 1-2 bedroom place. We don't understand how you can hold us to account on a quote that was not reflective of the actual size of the move and when you had actually made the online booking. We do not agree with your comments that you were expecting $460 when your minimum agreed price on your booking for 3 men $806.80. This price did not include optional wrapping and tolls. This was all in the booking confirmation and was quality controlled and agreed by you. To add further difficulty to the move, at the delivery address, the removalists had a long walk and around 48 stairs going up. Many boxes exceeded WH&S legal lifting capacity, as such, the removalists had every right to not move them up the 48 stairs but instead chose to move them. Due to the overweight boxes, it took two removalists to move two boxes at a time up the stairs whilst the other removalist was dismantling and reassembling. By this stage, the removalists were undoubtedly fatigued.
You also mentioned that it took 2.5 hours to load the truck and you thought this was excessive. This is in line with industry standards and safe working methods. It is clear you had not ordered the correct truck size and you wanted us to pay for your error. All our removalists are trained and professional but they were not afforded a conducive environment for them to work with concentration.
Though we were not at fault, we still offered a generous goodwill discount. We don't see what we could have done to foresee the issues and mitigate it from happening.

Rip-off removalist company which looks cheap by the hour, but makes a profit by having its guys move slow. This was my experience: two skinny, surly guys whose moving technique was to carry a couple of boxes a single child could, lurk around the lift without pressing the button until you go to check on them, then spend 15 minutes loading the boxes onto their truck - where they’ll lurk until you go out there to find out what’s taking them so long. Protection of your furniture is ‘extra’ – and protection means a few twists of glad-wrap around your precious furniture. Constant chat between the two in their native language. No proper tools and haphazard in their disassembly of your furniture – one of the guys almost lost some toes unscrewing the legs of our dining table, which then fell to the floor which luckily wasn’t damaged, although the table was. Had to drive 1 km to the new place, but somehow got ‘lost’ on the way (I went looking for them and saw their van sitting in an alley – just more time wasting). Avoid, avoid, avoid! And tell your friends to avoid them, too. The change of owner makes me wonder just how bad they were before, if this is them trying to clean up their act!
Dear William,
we thank you for your review. Your name is not on our database of customers we have moved. If this is a legitimate complaint, please email the name the booking was made in and date of move. Your description of events is not synonymous with our standards and service.
I had these removalists take 9 hours to move me 12 mins distance to my new home. They were slow so I started helping because they were arsing a round. When I arrived at my new place they took an extra hour driving (probably having lunch on my time) and constantly ringing them to see where they were. I was charged 2000 to move 12 mins from my old place which is a 3.5 bedroom. When I refused to pay that they said they would take my stuff, when I advised I would call the police they dumped everything off and said I was lucky they didn’t dump my stuff in the curb when it was raining. It was horrific and now have a sore back due to doing the work myself. It cost me $1,500 to move 12 mins after that and had to do a lot of the work myself. Don’t ever use them it was horrible and upsetting on a day that’s stressful as moving. Service poor and taking your money. If they quote 900 it means 2500. Be careful
We sincerely apologise if the service did not met your expectations. Due to LGA lockdowns, most professional removalists were in lockdown areas and not permitted to work. This significantly affected the removal industry and obviously hindered our normally high standards. We again apologise and are happy to offer you a discounted move the next time you relocate homes.

From getting a quote to the day of moving, it was very smooth. Great communication with the team the whole time.
The removalists arrived in time, were friendly, took the job seriously, and were careful while handling our things. We had zero issues and are very happy.
Ronnie and partner were early, and briefed on my move: majority of stuff to storage with rest going to the apartment of my fiancé. The guys did a great job and worked with me to fit everything into the storage space.Recommended plus at reasonable cost.
The the two gentlemen were on time and my house goods were packed with care and proficiency would highly recommend this company very good communication to and from the lovely lady at their office well done
Huge thanks to Sam and Andy (truck 60) for moving my house. I would like to call out how professionally and carefully they moved the house, ensuring no damage to the furniture and appliances moved. Well done!
Would recommend AAA anytime the 3 gentlemen were kind friendly happy and very professional which made the move very stress free.I was very impressed and pleased with the outcome of the move ,a job well done you should be very proud thank you immensely.
