Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6000

This company is a total Scam, I have moved cross country 8 times and never have had what happened today happen with other moving companies. I spent hours and multiple video calls with Chris Drake who sold me the move. He then contacted his dispatch manager's office in LA to confirm my complicated move and how they would handle it and price it. The quote came in at 11,164.00 which was comparable to 3 other bids that I received, in fact it was the 2nd highest bid next to United Van Lines which was about $800 more. This was a complicated move because part of the furniture was going 10 miles down the road and the other half was going out of state so I was extremely thorough in what was going where and that they understood that. I asked a lot of questions because the inventory was broken up into 2 separate inventories that did not look the same and was assured by Chris that it was only different because one drop was local and the other was interstate and their system showed it differently. Then today, less than 24 hours before the move some guy named Lochlan called saying the estimate did not include any of the local items and that I was being charged an additional $1601 - (12,765.29). I was backed into a corner and forced to agree to the additional charge under duress or they would not come as agreed. My neighbor who is getting ready to move furniture to a home they've built in Idaho and I told them as I am telling you - BEWARE, stay away from this company.

DO NOT HIRE 24/7 LOGISTIC SERVICES FOR YOUR LONG DISTANCE MOVE!!!

Their sales team is very good at selling, telling you everything you want to hear, how they are there for you at anytime, 24/7. Unfortunately they are too busy selling you the dream and they don't tell you what to really expect and what is going to happen "within Industry Standards" and the real time operations for your move. Our salesperson was our best pal and would take good care of us, if you need anything anytime of day call,,"I'm your guy!" til he got the deposit. Once the deposit was made he ghosted us. Would not answer any calls, emails, messages, NOTHING. Some of the what we were told is that our furniture would go straight from Brooklyn NY to Nashville TN. Since we pretty much filled up the truck, it would be a direct shipment. It left late on Friday night and we worked out a delivery date for the following Tuesday. That was the scheduled date with our Salesperson, Chris Drake. The movers also insured me many times that the truck would arrive on Tuesday. In reality Tuesday began our "delivery window" and can be delivered anytime within 21 days , that is industry standard. Our furniture was taken to a warehouse, off loaded and sat for days until it was reloaded to another truck and sent to our destination. Our furniture was delivered 9 days later. We had made no plans for this delay. Had we been told this when we signed we would have planned and made arrangements for some place to stay. We ended up having to pay for 4 nights in a hotel, and then we slept on the floor of our empty apartment for the next 5 nights as we couldn't afford to pay out anymore money.

Some of the other lies were were told:

*We would have 4-5 movers to pack and move our belongings, we only got 3.

*We were told they would speak/understand English. Only 1 did, the other 2 just yes maam'd us. They could speak a little English, One of them was able to ask where his tip was,

*The movers were on their phones the entire time, all 3 of them during the 11 hour process.

*The movers damaged our hardwood floors at the pick up and ripped the flooring during delivery.

*They parked on side street which was too far away from door so they could charge extra fees for longer distance. After call with manager they moved the truck, wasting almost 3 hours. Our move was not complete until Midnight!!!!!, Eleven hours later.

* We had a cleaning crew come in to clean up after them, which was a waste of our money because at 5pm they still hadn't done much moving and the cleaners couldnt do hardly anything.

*They make you sign paperwork before its filled out and they do not do anywork before you make your payments, pretty much holding you hostage as the initial payment was made.. They do not give you the paperwork until the move is complete, who knows what they put on the paperwork!

Take your time and read every line in the contract, don't let the salesperson guide you through it and tell you where to sign and initial. They will omit and skip over important details that you will need to know.

Moving to a new state is difficult enough and no one should have to deal with all of the lies, half truths and unprofessional tatics that we had to deal with on behalf of 24/7 Logistics. 2 months later I still get sick to my stomach thinking about our experience.

Hired this company after getting referral from move.com and they appeared to be legit at first. I secured a BINDING QUOTE so as not to have ANY surprises on move day. What a horror move day was! Every red flag possible was raised on move day. BUT WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU HAVE TO BE OUT THAT DAY and you hired these fools? You have to move forward and they know this and they PREY on this. IN EVERY OTHER BUSINESS when business is bid on and the selection goes to the low bidder, should that low bidder F up their bid THEY EAT THE DIFFERENCE. Not these baffoons!! They shove that difference down your throat. This company was the biggest SHAM. I had hired them for a full pack and unpack. They didn't know how to pack. They did a dish pack with heavy stoneware plates, serving dishes, bowls, etc. on top of fine glassware!!! OVER 3 dozen stemware were shattered -nothing but dust in the bottom of the boxes. They packed a FULL ASHTRAY in a box with CLEAN TOWELS. You can only imagine.... I was dumbfounded at how horrible the boxes had been packed. They didn't upack a thing at the new location -which I paid for - and it took weeks to find everything. The original move quote was in the $8200 range which I believed to be fair. On move day they added over $3500 in additional charges THEY FAILED TO CATCH WHEN GIVING THE QUOTE. This was not a change nor anything additional. COMPLETELY their own fault and they held my items hostage at the new location until they were paid in CASH or a MONEY ORDER that could only be secured at the US POST OFFICE. This was a holiday weekend, they were 4 days late in arriving at the new location and securing the cash was not easy on a Saturday of a holiday weekend!! To say I HATE this company is an understatement. I would not recommend this company to anyone other than its president and then I would love to see his or her review because if they own anything of value they would never allow anyone from their own company to move it from the living room to the kitchen, let alone, from one city to another. They are crooks, liars and theives and I would steer clear if at all possible.

If time and money were of no issue, I would spend the rest of my days working to reform this crap hole of an industry. These companies have no incentive to treat your stuff with care, and would CRAP on their own mothers then break her most prized posessions and when she voices her concern, their only comment will be "fill out a form" and hand her $0.60 for her trouble! If that doesn't scream THIS COMPANY AND INDUSTRY IS F'd UP, nothing will! Any other company than this one has to be better because this was the absolute bottom of the barrell!

I am very thankful that I used 24/7 Logistics for my move. I was incredibly anxious and overwhelmed by the relocation process, but Chris took time to walk through the move with me EVERY step of the way. He even called my storage company to confirm the size of my unit to be sure I didn’t run into unexpected costs. Knowing how overwhelmed we were feeling Chris even reached out on a Sunday to follow up and see how we were doing. Liz was wonderful when it was time for scheduling pick up and delivery too. She patiently answered questions and reminded me of important information. Aza, my moving foreman, was INCREDIBLE! He recognized my anxiety and assured me multiple times that my priorities were his as well. Aza pointed out water damage to my personal property from a leak and again took time to talk to me and encourage me when he saw my distress over the issue. I am certain other movers would have approached the issue as “not our problem,” documented the damage and moved on. His team, Roma and Feruz, were joyful and kind, even on such an incredibly hot day. Anxious about your move? This is the company to go with!

Moving is a boring and painful experience even with movers. But with these crew, they had my stuff bagged and wheeled to the truck in under 90 minutes. Unpacking and setting it was was a breeze as well - when our queen box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs they kept trying until it went up. This team went above and beyond with this move. The quote was exact, no extra fees, and they were on time and careful. I would use them again and again if I had to. Thank you for making my move easy and hassle free!!
