The pick up of my Lexus SUV in SC was great, the driver communicated frequently on his arrival time, explained the process very well, and was very helpful. Very professional and pleasant.
The car had changed carriers and the delivery in California was not as good. We had explained that the delivery had to be during the auto shop business hours, but the driver came after they had closed. He was not experienced in getting into the shop driveway which was large and was anxious about parking on a 2 lane divided road which was very wide. He was upset that he had trouble finding the location even though he had the address and it was clearly marked and was not very professional in his communication to us.

Service cost: $1250

I used Nationwide Transport in June 2017 to ship my car from NJ to LA. It was being transported during the 4th of July holiday. One of the representative told me it would be shipped by the Monday or Tuesday following Independency day. It was delayed. When I called Nationwide they gave me half-assed excuse it was due to the holidays. No one can give me a date when it would come. I called daily to find an update and no one gave me any answer. When I spoke with ** the point-man he also was unable to give me an answer. One of the supervisor was also unprofessional towards me and my wife because we wanted our car. My wife who works in law enforcement told them that she can call the police and since the car had a tracker it can be found. Immediately someone called me back and said the car is coming in the afternoon. I spoke with the representative again telling him that I had to use Uber to go to work since there was a delay. He assured me that I would get reimbursed for it. I emailed him the uber receipts and 16 months later no response. I only was replied to when I needed to ship my car to LA to NJ. But I did not go with Nationwide. They could not do anything correctly. Please do not go with Nationwide. They have false promises and are unprofessional. They will state that they We also do not guarantee any specific delivery dates due to variables such as weather and unforeseeable events.

I say why list dates if you do not guarantee it. A company is only good if they back what they say.

This morning, a day late and my vehicle has not been delivered, the carrier contacted me and informed me they have a two day window to pick up my vehicle and two days to drop off my vehicle. This was not communicated to me by Daniel Jean, the broker with Nationwide Transport Services when we drafted my contract. Had that been discussed with me, I would have went with another company who could have picked my car up in time to be delivered yesterday. Daniel, proceeds to inform me that the carriers have a history of poor communication and nothing was done to ensure I was communicated with from Nationwide’s stand point.

Today, I was also informed that the carrier contacted me and informed me they have a two day window to pick up my vehicle and two days to drop off my vehicle. This was not communicated to me when we drafted my contract. Had that been discussed with me, I would have went with another company who could have picked my car up in time to be delivered today. I would not have made arrangements with your company. I should have been given the option to have my car picked up earlier to avoid possible issues of this kind.

The driver and the owner with UBZ Express contacted me this morning informing me of the rate and stated they would not be compensating me for last night’s stay at a hotel, which is the expense I have incurred due to their inconvenience. I could have been out the cost of a rental car as opposed to a night’s stay at a hotel had they been more proactive in communicating.

Luke Foster helped my brother and me transport logging equipment from Oregon to Colorado on a very short timeline. Luke was extremely responsive throughout the process, and gave us clear instructions on how to make payment for NTS's services quickly and easily. He was pleasant to deal with on the phone as we made arrangements for the service. He managed our transaction in a professional manner, and kept both my brother and me informed of the status of the pick-up and delivery. He responded to us about the transport even after-hours and late into the evening. We are very happy with the service Luke and NTS provided and I have no reservations recommending this company to others needing this type of service.

INCREDIBLY Disappointed! Do yourself a favor and avoid this company! The date promised and the price quoted is meaningless! Over a dozen times between May 19 and July 27, Nationwide Transport Services LLC salesperson, Edwin Ortiz assured me that we were on schedule for a July 27th pick up at the price of $950. Monday the 27th came and went with stories of trucks on the way and drivers who would be calling. Tuesday and most of Wednesday was more of the same, fibs and tales. Late Wednesday, Edwin had a new song all about how prices have gone through the roof and he couldn’t get the car picked up at the $950 price quoted. So, for 2 ½ months the price quoted is $950….then 2 ½ days after the scheduled pick up date he needs $1,300 to get the car moved. My daughter’s apartment lease was ending and she had a flight booked for Friday AM.

On Thursday, July 30th we heard from the company who actually ended up transporting the car and we were informed the driver could pick up the car on Thursday night at 11:00 PM or Friday at 8:30 AM. The door to door service turned out to be a Home Depot parking lot 15 miles from my daughter’s apartment. Since Home Depot was closed at 11PM and we didn’t want our 22 year old daughter sitting alone in an empty parking lot, we were left with a Friday AM pick up. The car was picked up 1 ½ hours before my daughter’s plane departed. Very, very stressful!

The car was picked up on July 31 rather than the July 27th date we were assured over and over again was no problem. The driver spoke very little English but did manage to communicate that he needed an additional $300 because my daughter had personal items in the car. The Nationwide website clearly states you can put personal belongings in the car but the transport company who ended up moving the car has a different policy. In the end, Edwin Ortiz and Nationwide Transport Services LLC had no involvement in moving the car other than to be a middle man who added lots of stress and expense to a very simple auto move. Almost everything we were told by our salesperson was untrue. Total cost to move the car was $1,600 not the $950 I was quoted again and again.

This is a classic bait and switch. A promise of a price and date is made knowing full well that they can’t deliver on that promise. These folks don’t care about moving your car they only care about connecting themselves to the transaction.

I regret not doing a better job vetting them. I now see the owners of Nationwide Transportation Services LLC have many companies, most of which are in the auto transport brokerage business. Complaints about false promises and quotes not being honored go back many years

I wonder how many of the good reviews posted on this site are real? I wonder how many times they have run this scam?

Contacted JR Robledo onMonday a week in advance of when I needed a tractor moved. Told me he would contact me when he had a driver and that it wouldn't be a problem. I called back Wednesday to check in and he told me he would assign a driver Friday or Saturday and then would contact me. Now it is Sunday. No contact from JR, and no way to get ahold of him. Tried email, company phone, and his personal line. Now I have to scramble to find a way to get my tractor moved tomorrow. What a waste.

My husband had his snapon tool box shipped with all his tools. Turns out during transport there was damage due to the thief’s prying open the LOCKED drawers and many expensive tools were stolen. Good thing we got insurance right? They are holding back from paying us all the losses since AUGUST 2021. It’s been almost 5 months and we have not seen any money given to us even though we provided pictures and receipts of all the tools and damages done. My husband is a mechanic and is currently experiencing loss of wages due to their incompetence as a shipping company. DO NOT SHIP WITH THEM. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

It is a bad experience dealing with nationwidetransport services. They donot pick up or deliver the vehicle themselves and it is outsourced to a third party.

Third party picks up the vehicle and if any damages occur at the time of delivery , i believe third party is supposed to pay for damages and nationwidetransport is not responsible for resolving the claim.

There is no checklist walkthrough at the time of delivery of the vehicle.

Driver arrives at the delivery destination and does not know to speak English and asks to sign on his system stating that the vehicle was delivered and claims can be applied lateron.

On reaching the nationwidetransportservices they ask why did you sign if there was damage.

I kept asking how to claim damages at the time of delivery and he did not answer anything and told me to sign to receive the key. So I had to signed it.

Later I received an email stating that I signed on good condition , which is not true.

I had asked the dispatcher about how to claim before signing off , he told the driver will take pictures and later I can claim.

But later on the same dispatcher says "why did you sign BOL if you had damage". I was not walked over any checklist and to receive the keys i was asked to sign.

Worst transportation company to rely on I donot recommend others to use it.

They are brokers, like most any company you deal with. I’ve shipped many, many cars over the years and understand how the process works. Dealt with Marky on this shipment, lots of promises, no action. When it became obvious after a week that the car needed to be moved, Marky promised that he would work nights and weekends to find a driver. Turns out that he didn’t even raise the offer price on the central dispatch, then wouldn’t answer multiple calls or text messages on a Monday afternoon. After two days of asking for a refund they only gave part of my money back.
