Montway was a huge help in getting me a truck dispatched so I could move my Honda Civic Si Coupe from Chicago to Austin! They kept me in the loop since my car had all of the things I would be putting in my new apartment down here! Hidden fees after the price is sattled

I confirmed the quoted price with an agent during the chat. And suddenly the price went up for $300 with no reason when they ask me to confirm. No explanation there, they just say that the price is wrong. Great experience with Montway.

I've used Montway twice now and couldn't be more satisfied. They did everything they said they would do and communicated via email and text every step of the way. They are very professional and both drivers I dealt with were as well. I don't see myself using another transport company.

Auto Transport of two cars

My husband and I wanted to transport our cars from Chicago to Texas for a recent move. Montway was easy to coordinate with, especially since we had to move at two different times. It was as easy as picking up the phone and calling either Montway or the driver if we had questions. Cars were both delivered timely and in good condition.

DON"T USE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. 1 is too generous.

DON"T USE MONTWAY AUTO TRANSPORT!!!

We agreed on a price and they I was called and told that Montway needed an addition $100 to ship my car.

My Scheduled pickup was Thursday March 31 after 3pm and your driver called the pickup location Wednesday asking to pick up the car that day at 10pm. This was unacceptable and unprofessional asking a customer to say up till midnight to allow him to load the car when they go to work at 5am. The seller of the car said that wouldn't work and he needed to pick it up Thursday March 31 after 3pm but the driver wouldn't take no for an answer and almost cost me the car. After multiple times telling him no, she called me and asked for me to deal with him. He wouldn't pick up the car on Thursday as scheduled so I called Montway to straighten this out (there should be a recording of our conversation) and all dispatch did was call his company and the driver and left messages and told me to tell him to wait till Thursday to pick it up. The driver wouldn’t follow the schedule and persisted that he picks up the car Wednesday night. I tried calling Montway to get his resolved but your dispatch was closed. Why have driver pick up cars after Montway’s dispatch hours? There is no support when there are issues and from what I experienced that must be a daily occurrence. So that left me only one option and I told him he needs it picked up and loaded by 9pm. Upon delivering the car to CO the drive confronted me and got in my face asking me why I said he was unprofessional and lied to his company. You have the phone records supporting all my involvement dealing with him. No one should have to deal with at shit.

Dreadful service

Montway Auto Transport is undoubtedly the worst business I have ever worked with. They are laughably unprofessional, grossly incompetent, and genuinely not concerned about their customers. On March 20th, I booked a shipment with Montway to transport my car from SoCal to Milwaukee. I chose their more expensive quote over their competitors because they advertised pickup in a five day window rather than seven, like most companies.

As my first pickup day of April 15th approached I had heard nothing from the company, but assumed I would hear from them soon. I called Montway near the end of my pickup window and they just told me, "we are working on it." This answer continued for several days until they told me they could not ship my car for what we agreed upon and I had to pay an additional 10%. After several calls where they told me that it's not their fault they can't ship for the agreed upon price because gas is more expensive (the average gallon of gas had dropped 20c/gal during that time), I reluctantly agreed because I needed my car for work. Finally, they found a driver and my car was picked up on April 27th (the day after it was originally scheduled for delivery) and delivery would take place between the 29th-30th, however, that was not the case. My driver changed delivery from the 29th to the 30th, to May 6th and finally delivered my car on May 7th, 10 days after he picked it up, and 22 days after it was available. Finally, to top it off, my driver called 20 minutes before the delivery because he said that he couldn't delver to me and I had to drive to meet him and that there was no way he could have told me sooner because that's impossible to look up.

Montway's sales team offers quotes that they can't back up with the knowledge that they have most people trapped because they can't afford a last minute listing with a different company, so they have to pay more.

I would rather fly back to my car and drive across the country than ship with Montway again.
