I am not sure I even have the proper words to describe how EASY and PAINLESS the move was - believe me when I say I was in quite a state about the move, in part because I was doing it on my own. The professional and personalized care offered by the William B. Meyer staff  was just what I needed - I was no longer alone!

It started with Tom Burke, the estimator.  He phoned me back within a half hour of my placing the call and came over that very day to give me a firm price on the move.  Laura Meng, the move coordinator, checked in with me on a regular basis as did  Debra Rivera, admin.  (Deb even gave me a call a few days after the move to see how I was doing.)  Everyone was not just professional but very kind - they clearly sensed I needed some 'hand holding.'  

Steve Stone, crew chief, and William his assistant, were absolutely amazing.  Steve phoned as promised the night before with the time details. And, he called again the next day when he was thirty minutes from my home.  Right away Steve and William put me at my ease - I knew everything was going to be alright.  They easily and quickly moved my possessions onto the truck.

Steve and William showed up in Vermont at the promised time the next day.  They were cheerful during the entire process.  All my belongings arrived in perfect condition. When I asked for an opinion in placing some pieces they could even do that. I can say that Steve and William made the move FUN!!!!!  I am in their debt. Thank you!!!! Debby Scherrer

I recently sold the house I had lived in for 45 years. I wasn't sure where to start with the move. Meyers was highly recommended to me by a family member and it couldn't have worked out better. From the initial visit by Bill Harner to the coordination by Tesha Shipp to Frank Diaz and his crew, it was much less stressful than anticipated. Frank and his crew were amazing! Any and all questions/concerns were answered quickly and with a smile. Interim calls from Tesha and Debbie to be sure everything was going well were much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone anticipating a move, large or small. Thank you folks at Meyers!

From the first contact with Bill Harner coming to give our estimate and working with Tesha Shipp to coordinate the move this was a great company to work with.

We had some changes and delays along the way and Meyer's just kept working with us and willingly accommodated through every change.

Paul and Ethan showed up on a Friday morning to begin moving our stuff and couldn't have been more professional, efficient and friendly. After loading all of our stuff they drove to our new place with our belongings and waited hours outside on a very hot and humid day all as a result of a major screw up on our lender's part. As a we were unable to move into our new home on that day, they wound up leaving to bring all of our stuff back to the warehouse but not until after 6 PM. Paul gave me his cell phone number and telling me to call or text him if by chance we would be able to get into our new place on Saturday. If we were able, he was going to come and unload on Saturday. Unfortunately that didn't happen and we weren't able to get in until Monday.

When I spoke with Bill to reschedule the 2nd half of our move he said they wouldn't be able to do it until maybe the following week.

I called Paul who was on another job in New York and left him a VM and asked if there is anything he could do it would be much appreciated. When Paul called me back he said he would try to get our stuff to us on THAT DAY! He would have to go back to the warehouse, reload our stuff onto a truck and move it to our new place. He then called back and said he'd be able to deliver our stuff between 4 and 5 on that day.

Paul and Steven showed up around 5 PM and were once again very professional, friendly and efficient!! They had the truck unloaded and everything reassembled and in it's place by 6:30 PM! If it weren't for Paul's willingness to go above and beyond there's a good possibility we would still be waiting for our furniture to be delivered a week and a half later.

We cannot express enough our gratitude to Paul, Ethan, Steven, Tesha and Bill for all of their efforts to make our miserable experience much better because we were able to have our furniture in our new place and weren't going to be sleeping on air mattresses and eating off of snack tables.

I would recommend Meyer's to anyone looking for a good mover that is willing to do what it takes to their move done.

William B. Meyer movers were the best!!! Lead guy Rudy and his crew were professional, arrived on time, asked lots of questions to ensure my belongings went to correct rooms, worked together as a team, well oiled and coordinated!!

The moving coordinator, Tesha Shipp was excellent!! She communicated clearly, ensured all arrangements went as discussed and she actually answered my call before the start of a business day!!

I was super nervous moving from Massachusetts after 45 years in one one! Wiliam B Meyer moved me from my storage unit to my new home and not a single item was damaged!!

In preparation of moving residences I contacted William B Meyer, among others, to provide us with a written quote for our moving needs. Mr. Tom Burke, DistrictManager, arrived at my home to discuss my needs. We found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. He provided us with a quote within hours of our meeting and the numbers were very competitive with other quotes we had obtained. Our comfort level with Tom Burke however, was the deciding factor.

From that moment forward and in dealing with other staff at William B Meyer we knew we had made the right choice. Once we became a customer we were immediately contacted by Debbie Rivera, one of our move coordinators. She was and is such a pleasure to speak with and she explained the process moving forward. Then we received a call from Tesha Shipp, move coordinator. She was equally as friendly, knowledgeable and courteous as the others we had spoken with. What an extreme pleasure dealing with these individuals especially when moving is such a stressful time. This was our 15th move, yes 15th. So we have been through this process. William B Meyer, by far, out performed any other moving companies we have used in the past. Exceeded our expectations.

A special mention to Frank Diaz, our crew chief. He and his staff were excellent and worked very hard to insure our move was handled appropriately. They paid special attention to details and placed all items/boxes exactly where we wanted them to be.

Thank you to William B Meyer and their entire staff for making our move go as smoothly as possible. It meant a great deal to us. I will no doubt be happy to recommend this company to anyone who has moving needs.

We were extremely happy with our moving experience with William B Meyer Movers. Mike Pickwick did a great job giving us a very fair estimate & providing us with ample cartons & wardrobes. Izzy & his crew were the absolute best Movers, wrapped everything carefully, set everything down in it's proper place, nothing was damaged! The company is reliable, honest and did everything right! Debra Rivero was always available and extremely helpful! Would very strongly recommend this company!

We had an excellent experience with Willian B Meyer! My husband and I needed moving and storage services for our move from New York City, and William B Meyer had excellent service and competitive rates.

Our movers were prompt and professional, and took great care when moving our belongings! There was no damage or any other issues we experienced.

We were moving out with a newborn, and William B Meyer made our move as quick and easy as possible. Due to Covid-19, we were very cautious about letting strangers into our home, but our movers adhered to all necessary safety precautions, and were equipped with gloves, sanitizing wipes, and wore face masks at all times. They even left the apartment when I had to return to feed/change our newborn.

We also used William B Meyer for our storage needs and have been pleased with these services as well. Our items are safely and securely stored, and we have been able to easily access our items as needed.

Moving can be stressful but not with William B Meyer. I have had storage with William B Meyer for a number of years and that left an excellent impression. Thus, when it was a time to make an interstate move from Connecticut to the Albany area, I called William B Meyer and was put in touch with Bill Harner. Not only did he call me immediately but every time I phoned him he contacted me in less than a half hour. My first move had to be canceled just about five days before it was scheduled because of some issues with the house I had planned to purchase, so I had to cancel the move. Bill Harner was extremely understanding. I found another house quite soon and rescheduled my move. Again, I was given an estimate and was told exactly what would happen and when.

I worked closely with Mary Bruner and we scheduled the loading the day before Thanksgiving and the move the day after Thanksgiving.

Gary and Paul, who came to my apartment could not have been more efficient and thoughtful. They completed the loading in about 90 minutes and the next time I saw them was early on the Friday after Thanksgiving at my new empty home near Albany. About two hours later everything was moved in perfectly, and furniture was brought to the designated rooms and the beds were set up.

I have moved internationally numerous times, and never have I had the first rate experience I had with Gary and Paul, and Mary Bruner and Bill Harner. I have nothing but admiration for how they made the move as easy as possible and without any incident whatsoever. This is a first class operation and I experienced a great group of professionals totally painless.
