International move from Karlsruhe, Baden-Wuerttemberg Region to Basel, Canton of Basel-City

Best experience.

We moved from Karlsruhe to Basel Switzerland last weekend and everything went very well with Weinheimer. We decided on a moving company because my husband is very busy at work and time was short. We wanted to be on the safe side and friends recommended Mr. Bakhat to us. I can only say: everything went well, a good decision. On a single Saturday, our 100 sqm apartment was really moved. All the furniture was assembled, nothing broke. And when we had done a few personal things on Sundays, the matter was done .. Great, gladly again!

Class moving company with wing transport.

Anyone who does a good job should be praised for it. I have already told the employees in personal contact that they are doing a good job, but I would like to underline that again with this evaluation. If you keep all contractual agreements, stand in front of the door to the minute and tackle it properly, then I simply can't say a bad word about the service! I can only recommend Mr. Bakhat to everyone who wants to break away from the stress of moving.

Catastrophic!

Unfortunately, I was influenced by the good reviews, a huge mistake as I now know. Mr. Bakhat is personable, can sell himself, not an issue, but unfortunately his promises are worthless. The people came on time, worked quickly and disastrously, what fell down remained lying, was buried under garbage and trampled on. Due to the poor conversation due to a lack of German knowledge, it was not easy to give instructions. The things were not packed but simply thrown into boxes! Once through the shelf with your hand and everything was in the box, whether books (which are now bent or torn), CDS, DVD or the like. The boxes were sometimes only half full, and then of course the worst case came, there were too few boxes. Even food was "thrown" into boxes in such a way that a carton of milk was at the bottom, and canned food on top. We found unique ceramic items on the floor and broken. The bathroom was partly cleared and the rest ended up in the bathtub and was only discovered afterwards. At least 10 boxes have to be packed afterwards!
The so-called "fixed price offer" turned out to be not so tight. My things on the truck and suddenly the price was higher than what was on offer because the landfill costs were higher, which could not be determined at this point because the truck had not even arrived at the landfill! Despite the remark on the offer that we have expensive items of furniture and chinaware, no consideration was given to it. If we had known how reckless our belongings were, I would rather have paid more than seeing so many things damaged. Just because the items are considered worthless to people doesn't mean they are worthless! With a large plant that is very close to my heart, I was promised that it would be wrapped with air cushion foil, when it was unloaded, nothing of the foil could be seen, the top of the plant was completely bent.
So never again with this company!

Always happy.

I was looking for a moving company and very soon I had 3-4 offers on the table, the Weinheimer Umzüge company impressed with its quick completion of all formalities, the price-performance ratio turned out to be unique, every move among the employees was right. They worked very professionally and quickly. In my opinion, a complete 7.5 tonne crane was loaded and then unloaded again in record time and all that without any complaints on my part. Should I ever move again, I have no doubts that I will commission this company again. Many thanks to Weinheimer Umzüge.

Pleasant and quick move.

The move started punctually at 8 a.m. and after a few hours the old apartment (around 70 square meters) was professionally cleared out by 4 people. The queries and the process were targeted and very positive.
Moving into the new domicile was surprisingly quick thanks to the furniture elevator. 2:30 p.m. everything was done. Only minor damage to the furniture, which is normal when moving. I'm very satisfied!

Even with the second move, everything was great!

The employees are polite, fast and handle the goods carefully. Within 4 hours, our entire 120 square meter apartment including cellar and attic including furniture and kitchen dismantling was cleared and stowed in the trucks. Also 4 hours later, all the boxes were stowed away at the destination and the furniture was set up again on the spot - we asked exactly where and how everything should be set up.

Highly recommended.

The team arrived punctually and in a good mood on the day of the move and after a brief introduction they started with a tour of the apartment. After that, all sensitive parts were packed well protected, the large furniture was dismantled and then everything (including moving boxes) was loaded into the two trucks.
At the destination everything was unloaded and set up again. It was also very positive that all packaging material was removed and taken back with you.
All in all, it was the most relaxed and enjoyable move we've ever had!

Very professional move from Germany to Vienna. Agreement of price and appointment by phone. The boss - Mr. Bakhat - is always available on the phone, professional and very friendly, even if you have several questions. All agreements were kept, on the date of the move the truck and three movers were in Bruchsal at 8 o'clock, loading took place in four hours, delivery in Vienna two days later and unloaded in the shortest possible time. All of this at an unbeatable price (we contacted many other companies in Austria and Germany, some of the offers were twice as expensive as the Weinheimer). Perfect thank you!
