Wish I Could Leave Zero Stars: Bypass This Company

This moving company is a Mom and Pop gone wrong friends.

They need someone like Gordon Ramsey to come in and shake up their operations. This is a sick company.

They do a great job of selling you moving services, then the nightmare begins. You can expect very few communications from them once they have come and picked up your goods to place in storage for an interstate move.

The cost of moving with them essentially doubles once your items are on the truck.

When we reached our new city we were told to expect our delivery on the Saturday or Sunday before Christmas. When those days came and went with no delivery and no communication from anyone, we called to ask when our furniture would arrive.

Fast forward to Jan 2, when we received a call at 5pm on a Saturday that our driver would be there between 6 and 8 am the next morning (a Sunday), and we were told that they would only accept payment in cash or a postal money order. We had to scramble to get a money order on a Saturday night but we did so.

The only bright spot in our dealings with this company was the cheerful and professional crew who came to deliver our furniture. They were outstanding.

Those young men would do much better being hired by 2 Men and a Truck, because I don't believe that We Care for You will be able to withstand the complaints that their customers have made, and will go under.

They currently have 22 complaints with the Better Business Bureau, mine being the 22nd.

My advice: steer clear of this company in deciding who will make your interstate moves. They simply do not have the organizational depth to handle long distance moves.

I cannot, in good faith, recommend this company to move us again. SAVE YOURSELF SOME HEARTACHE AND BYPASS THIS COMPANY WHEN MAKING YOUR DECISION ON WHO WILL MOVE YOUR BELONGINGS.

Long-distance move from Florida to Oklahoma

Worst Moving Experience Ever!

Moved my mom's stuff from FL to OK, through Trinity Relocation Services, a broker for the movers (Won't ever use them again either). First, Trinity grossly underestimated the cost and charged my 82 yoa mother another $1700 on the day of the move. On delivery day (too many hassles getting a delivery date to list here), the driver "Omar" wouldn't go down my gravel driveway to my house, demanded his full payment in cash or PO check (I was not aware of this pmt requirement, but got the cash together right away) wanted to call a "shuttle service" (at extra cost) to shuttle the goods between his truck and my house, refused to unload until I paid him in full AND signed the form stating everything was received and in good order BEFORE even one box was unloaded off his truck, then said he wouldn't unload my horse trailer once I got back to my house(I used my own horse trailer as a shuttle, which made him angry that I wasn't paying the extra cost or having to wait until the next day for a paid shuttle service), initially wouldn't even get out of his truck to speak with me and when I climbed up on the cab he rolled up his window partway, was constantly walking away from me and turning his back on me when I tried to talk to him. Very rude. I haven't been treated this badly in a long time.

Long-distance move from Miami, FL to Rochester, NY

Poor communication and beyond dissapointed

I would caution anyone from using this company. I support small businesses but this is one that SHOULD NOT be an option for people. I am not requesting a formal refund or reimbursement so I don't have to interact with them. It is also highly unlikely they are solvent enough to pay. READ REVIEWS ON https://www.mymovingreviews.com/movers/we-care-for-you-5888. I didn't do my homework cause I was in a pinch. I also don't have a final signed paperwork from when they retrieved my stuff and had my friend that was onsite sign in my behalf. Shady stuff. We want payment but no documentation.

I tried to coordinate this move remotely and it was a nightmare. Robin is disorganized and terrible to work with. Unfortunately she is the owner. They were quick to make the sale but completely underperformed. Misquoted me and misinformed the movers they sent to box up my items that I ended up paying twice of my quote. Later I learned from the two college aged kids (who were spectacular and earned their generous tip) who delivered my stuff off the truck they had a rough go with Robin on their end too and won't be picking up business from Robin either. There were multiple times I called and left messages to set up a delivery date for two months in advance and I waited two weeks until I spoke with someone to chase down an email I sent to the only email I had for them, the sales quote estimate. By May 30th I finally had a plan with them, my own self established timeline. They agreed to a pick up of June 15th and a delivery window of June 24th-June 28th. They missed the timeline. I started my new job July 1st. My items arrived July 4th after calling them about three times a week for the last two weeks. It was a good thing my 5 and 3-year-old like amping and had to sleep on air mattresses and sleeping bags I brought with me in my trunk as I drove FOUR days across country to meet the movers upon arrival after being promised the world.

The lack of internal communication shows how dysfunctional this organization is. An example... I paid my deposit and zeroed my balance with one Max in dispatch to ensure there were zero log jams from getting my valuables on the agreed-upon date of June 24-28th then Robin would call me requesting payment. I had to remind them I paid and have the receipts to prove it.

They claim to be specialists in moving the elderly, but I would choose anyone but them. It would be cheaper for me to not get paid a whole week and do it by myself. I paid a premium price and got a half-eaten happy meal. I will post this on each site I find as a review for movers and I want to see if it is altered.

Long-distance move from Miami Beach, FL to Baltimore, MD

SCAM MOVERS.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR STUFF. Read google reviews before letting these guys touch your stuff. Anything they packed themselves was missing on delivery and switched with literally garbage. Bins of stuff were rifled through and things missing/stolen. They jack up the price while they hold your stuff hostage.

They called me because of this review, and when I told them I left the review because their service was terrible and my stuff was stolen, the guy screamed through the phone at me “f*** you, you f***ing idiot” and hung up. DO NOT USE. STAY AWAY.

Long-distance move from Boynton Beach, FL to Studio City, CA

Disgraceful/Horrible

If it was possible to provide zero stars, i would do so with these people. My daughter engaged them to move her items from Boynton Beach to Studio City, CA. When the driver arrived at her apartment at Boynton Beach, he apparently did not follow her instructions and left many items behind, which was going to be a problem since were departing for Los Angeles the very next day. Pretty much had to badger the driver to return to the apartment to get the items he forgot the first time around. Next, the projected delivery date of the items to California, was not even close to happening. In fact, we had to chase down that driver to get a projected date of delivery, since it was no concern of his when he would actually deliver my daughter's belongings. At this point in time, this rancid company had already contracted with another company for the final delivery of her goods. Eventually, on a Saturday night, I received a frantic call from daughter, because the belligerent driver was invoking the 75 foot provision that is benign in their agreement, was refusing to deliver my daughter's goods until he received an additional $300 in cash on top of $1000 he already received. I live in New Jersey, so not much I could do on my end. I can tell you, that there was much conversation that involved the driver and my daughter, and none of it good, he was an outright bully to my daughter. I had the entire episode on speaker, so my girlfriend, college friend, and his wife were able to hear the entire despicable way my daughter was treated by this coward. Needless to say, had i been there, no way any of this is going down. My daughter had no further access to cash since she already had been to an ATM earlier that day to pay this creep, and was restricted from drawing any additional cash. In the end, the piece of filth driver, left my daughter's goods in the lobby of her apartment building. My daughter weighs all of 100 pounds, and has had her fair share of medical issues. If there is one person on this Earth who should not be moving anything heavy, it is her. Fortunately, I convinced her to ask for help from some of the other residents to get her good in the apartment, which would have taken the driver all of 10 minutes to do for the $1000 in cash he was paid. Aside from abusing my daughter, he was also rude to the Property Manager on site as well as the residents who performed the good deed helping my daughter. Afterwards, when I left voicemails and texts for the driver, he did have the courage to return those messages. A representative was useless as well, after all they got paid their money, some of it in cash. Since i received no level of satisfaction, I have my old accounting firm that i worked at, in which I was a partner, reach out to the IRS as a whistleblower to see if there is interest on their part for a business that requires cash payments. Please do not use this company.

Relocation Move

Please be smart and do not use Trinity and We Care For You.

Hired Trinity to move me from Florida to New York. I was quoted $3800. Trinity has to be aware of the terrible job We Care For You does. They sent me these monsters. They treated me rudely and Dov the foreman was absolutely scary. The moment he walked in my bill went up $1200. They only sent two movers, and Dov stayed in the truck 75% of the time. I watched in horror as one man moved furniture down my staircase. My glass dresser slipped and hit the wall. They damaged the staircase wall. I watched Dov drop boxes that hit the street. When they left, I realized they went into my zipped luggage and took jewelry. I will file a police report and report them to the Attorney General Senior Complaint Agency. When I complained to Trinity they did absolutely nothing. They pretend that they are unaware of We Care For You not being a reliable source. I could not reach the Company for three days to make a delivery date. Again, I reached out to Trinity for help and they did nothing.

We Care For You staff, and movers lie and steal. When my possessions finally arrived they took my Persian rug, and I had boxes of totally smashed crystals and ceramics. Moving is a very stressful experience and this company will drive you to a nervous breakdown. I have never been treated so badly by two companies. Please run and do not consider using either company.

Interstate Move

Trinity Relocation Group Contract B5125136

We Care For You Contract BB6280940

I do not recommend Trinity Relocation Group or We Care For You. With my wife and I serving 22 and 26 years in the military respectively and having moved many times both overseas and within the United States this was the worst move we have ever experienced. Trinity Relocation Group acts as a broker for moving companies and contracted with We Care For You out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for the actual move. We were moving from Cape Coral, Fl to Oklahoma City, OK between two assisted living centers and contracted for a complete pack and unpack.

We Care For You FAILED to meet their contractual obligations since they disassembled our bed on the shipping end and did not reassemble it as requested on the receiving end. In the end we did not receive all of our household goods and at least two items were broken.

Packout: Our driver was scheduled between 9 AM and 2 PM. At 10 AM he called and said would it be alright if they came around 5-6 PM. I reminded them this was a move from an assisted living center that had restrictions on move times but got permission for the late move. The driver then called back stating they would be there by 1 PM because of the move restrictions. They arrived at 1:40. Once there he looked at the apartment and said he did not have room for the move on his truck. He called his boss and put him on speaker phone and proceeded to get into an argument with his boss while standing next to me. His boss said if he couldn’t handle the job himself to come back. The driver then got in his truck and drove off. Another driver and crew came to move our stuff the next day but they were late since their original truck was not working properly. This crew was extremely courteous, professional and accommodating during the pack and load. I noticed they did not bring any wrapping paper for the glassware and asked about that. The driver showed me a black trash bag full of used wrapping paper and told me his boss said to use that. He also asked me about what had happened the day before and when I explained he told me the other driver had been fired.

Waiting for delivery: Although I had explained to Trinity that I wanted my furniture delivered and unpacked not later than 18 December and that they could back up the pack date to accommodate that request my furniture and household goods were not delivered until 23 December. We Care For You kept telling me they were waiting on truck availability for the Midwest.

Delivery: The driver arrived as scheduled, but had no help and was going to move everything by himself. While talking to the driver I mentioned I wanted all of the trash taken away since this had been done during all of our other moves and to make sure he assembled the bed. We got into an argument about this and he told me I couldn’t tell him what to do and sat in his truck for quite some time. When I asked him when he was going to unload he said not until I treated him with respect and asked him nicely. I succumbed to his request. He then brought the contract into the apartment and asked me to sign the paperwork which stated I had received everything and that it was in good condition. I said I would be happy to once it was all in the apartment and I could inspect it. This led to him calling his supervisor and wrongly claiming I would not sign the paperwork. I asked to speak with the supervisor and that is when I was told they would not remove the trash and the driver was told to unload the truck. The driver then walked past me to the truck and cussed me in Spanish. When I told him I knew what he said he denied it and then called me the same thing in English. The driver began to unload and was taking the moving blankets off of the furniture in the parking lot so I asked him to leave the blankets on so that the furniture did not get damaged by the dolly. He proceeded to tell me how good he was and that he knew what he was doing and that he was going to unwrap all of it in the parking lot so I could inspect it out there and then sign the documents. I told him I would not inspect anything until it was inside the apartment. I then began to video what he was doing and when he saw me he quit unwrapping items in the parking lot. Things started to go better and when everything was in the apartment, but the bed was not unwrapped or put together he again tried to get me to sign the paperwork. I told him once everything was unwrapped and the bed assembled, I would inspect and sign. He then went off on me again and said that the only reason I wouldn’t sign the paperwork was because of the color of his skin and that I was a racist. He then went out and closed up his truck and came back without any tools. I told him I would be happy to sign once he put the bed together. He then took the paperwork and left claiming I refused to sign. My wife and I were left to assemble the bed and finish unpacking.

Long-distance move from Orlando, FL to Kenner, LA

Fraud

My daughter moving from Orlando to back Home Kenner Louisiana . I had foolishly ended up with BIG FRAUD broker INTERSTATE MOVING. They had subcontracted We Care. I was given estimate of 2047 of which broker collected 800 upfront. As soon as they came to apartment, before even looking things, told me broker estimate not valid. We will give you new. Price was jacked up to double. So instead 1200 to them, they made me pay 2200. I had no choice. Just before delivery, I was called and told by them, our big truck can not come in your subdivision. So we will have to get smaller truck and we will charge you another 400. Nobody told me that before. I was told it I’d in SMALL PRINT!!!!!!

I had made clear from day one that there will be a stair involved at both place. I was given original estimate with that. But WE CARE, got me coughed up another 200, for that. So total move which was to be $ 2047, costed me $3500. Horrible and dishonest!

Moral is NEVER USE A BROKER! THEY ARE THUGS. And they can throw you to wolves like WE CARE!

We need some laws and controlling board for this MOST DISHONEST industry.

Long-distance move from Gainesville, FL to Saratoga, CA

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER!!

Unfortunately, I found this website after the fact. My move was from Florida to California. We Care For You was subcontracted by A+ Moving Solutions and everything was smooth up to pick on moving day. They gave me a window of 11am-4pm. Didn't arrive til after 5 due to traffic. Ok, understandable, Florida traffic can suck. I had boxes in three rooms, with most of them in the living room. There were also two packed large luggage bags that I was flying out with in the spare bedroom. Boxes were moved fine. Paperwork was done. After they left, I went in the spare room where the luggage was and noticed the front pockets on both were opened, which I thought was weird. I went in my bedroom and one pocket of my duffel was opened. There was an old cell phone in its box before pick up; I found the empty box on the shelf of the closet in the spare room. Seriously sus stuff going on. But wait, that's not the end of my nightmare! So they say you'll get 24-48 hours notice for delivery. I got a call at 10am, two days before I was expecting my delivery, saying they were 5 hours out. Then they were late by 4 hours. Around 7pm, the driver, Sam, calls me and wants me to drive down the road to meet him. Says there's a problem. Luckily, I had one of my guy friends with me and he went with. Sam tries to tell me that there's some regulation he's breaking by trying to drive up the road, but he'll deliver if I pay him an extra $750. I'm not made of money and tell him there's no way I can afford that; my dad is sick and I have to help out and pay bills (otherwise I wouldn't be moving in the first place!) My guy friend ends up talking him down to $400 of his own cash just so I can get my stuff back instead of held hostage by this driver. Boxes eventually get unloaded and put in the house. Sam asks to use the bathroom. Takes forever then is ready to get out of there fast. I go to check after they leave and yup, you can tell cabinets and drawers were opened. Nothing of value was in there, but really? Talk about SUPER SUS AND SHADY people this company employs (except the guy who was training with the driver, he's a good decent human, sadly a rarity these days). I called them up later and their customer service lady tells me the extra $400 was for "excessive transport" claiming that they had to travel more than 75 feet from the truck to the house, which is false; I even helped carry some of the boxes in because it was late and hot and I wanted my stuff back.

TLDR version: don't hire, super shady people that will go through your things and hold your boxes hostage and lie.

Worst moving experience ever

This company has been absolutely terrible in their customer service avoiding calls about our where our belongings were, calling us nasty names and hanging up mid-call. They constantly changed their pricing structure or didn’t give actual prices that they would add on. This company has been the biggest headache in the world. Over 30 days to get our stuff delivered at a higher cost that quoted and signed on contract while holding our stuff hostage until paid.

I had a great experience

Mike at we care for you is great. He took care of us on the move. These are the only issues I had.. movers showed up 34 minutes late but they did get to work immediately. I had one splintered leg on a chair. Other than that I'm happy they brought tons of quilted blankets and double wrapped my fragile pieces like the China cab I was most worried about. Movers gave me a delivery window of 7 to 10 business days I got my stuff the 8th business day. Price did go up at pickup but I kinda expected that since I had a lot more boxes than originally quote. 4 stars because of my chair thanks again

I am so very pleased with the services and customer care I received from We Care For You. Jessica, who managed my move from Florida to Ohio, was always supportive, professional, and courteous. Words cannot explain how pleased I am with we care for you moving. From the start, the move was quick and easy. They provided me with awesome customer service. Thank you and your team for making my move the easiest task of my day!! Everything was wrapped properly, properly disassembled and transported to my new location without any issue. But, what is more amazing is that my move was not a simple one: there was an issue with the elevators and they could not bring my belongings to the 6th Floor. So, this best team took my belongings in the elevator to the 7th floor and then carried them down to the stairs to the 6th floor. NONE of my belongs were damaged during this complete process. Beware! Scam artists!

We booked our move through Trinity brokers and they seemed pretty helpful. They said that since we had only boxes to move that we would have to pay the minimum which would cover up to 284 cubic feet. After packing I calculated that we had under 200 cubic feet so I felt that we still qualified for the quoted price for the move. When the movers arrived, The lead guy, Travis, looked at the boxes and says 450 cubic feet based upon his 16 years of experience. I said "no way" and asked him to prove his claim. His reply was to take it or he was going to head out to his next pickup.

since we had already placed a sizeable deposit, we had to suck up the additional charge of $850. Phone calls to his boss, Jessica, were a waste of time and energy as she said that she had to go with Travis' estimate. I feel ripped off by a dishonest scheme. WARNING! Stay away!

Long-distance move from Fort Myers, FL to Clayton, NC

Bait and Switch! Beware!!!

Beware of this Company! Bait and Switch!

The worst moving experience imaginable. If I could give zero stars, I would. When the reservation was made, and price agreed upon, we were told we would have our own dedicated tractor trailer, with a 32 foot trailer, and that everything would be delivered within 3 days. When we spoke with the moving company a few days before the move, we were told it could be up to 30 days before delivery. Because of this, we rented our own U-Haul 16' truck to carry our 'essentials' and valuables.

On moving day, three guys showed up in flip flops with a 26 foot truck. The Furniture was not wrapped properly, leaving furniture legs and edges unprotected. The man they had packing the truck appeared clueless on how to pack a truck. He put furniture on first, then tried to pack boxes around it, literally throwing them everywhere. (We had purchased consistent sized boxes so they could be properly loaded onto truck). Because they brought a smaller truck and the way it was packed, everything didn't fit. We were told it would be an additional $5000 on top of the original $9000+ estimate we had agreed to, and they would get a partial truck from 2 hours away to complete the job. As we were closing on our house in two days, we were stuck and had no choice. Also, due to the inefficient way of packing the (first and second) truck, at the last minute, we had to give away all of our patio furniture because they couldn't fit it on the truck.

Truck broke down between Florida and North Carolina. They had to rent a U-Haul truck and moved everything from the disabled truck to the U-Haul truck. When the trucks arrived, we were missing the pad for our living room rug, wheels and handles were broken off of our outdoor grills, the furniture was damaged and required over $1000 in repairs, boxes were busted open, and we never found some kitchen items and other miscellaneous.

The above is not even a complete listing of the damages and issues we encountered with this company. My recommendation.. Do not use!
