Randy called before the move to make sure everything was still a go..gave me a time that he would be there and he was. He showed up in his clean rig,and with his crew, Randy and his entire crew are all top notch professionals. The entire team made me feel comfortable with the packing and loading of all my household items. Randy gave me a delivery time and agian, Randy and his local team here in Texas ,unloaded,unpacked,and these guys can work..both teams I thank yall, job very well done by Randy and both teams...I would use Randy every time, and if you have a move in the future look no futuer,,you found your guy.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $90

I'll warn you now. If you want to be lied to and wait for 2 entire weeks for your property if you are moving 650 miles, then, by all means, use Ward North American. The crew that picked up our stuff was carefull in packing and loading. The shipment was due 10-11 at the latest. The estimated delivery date is now a full 7 days after the due date. So, if you don't need your stuff for 14 days, go ahead. I promise that I will never use them for anything else, and can only suggest that you stay away too.

Service cost: $1770

Ward North American from San Antonio exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the initial in-home estimate to the move-in we were pleased. We were kept informed throughout the process and we were treated with utmost respect. Our driver Alex was a true leader. He choreographed his team to make the loading and unloading process stress-free for us. They were very mindful of the floors, walls, doorways and we had no damage or mishaps. Alex alerted us to his arrival date and time and showed up promptly.

We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely use Ward North American for our next move. Thank you!!!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6500

If there was a negative 5-star, I would give it to Ward North American(WNA) without a second thought. I experienced the worst moving service ever in my life. Interestingly, only four valuable bags are missing during the moving process. The four bags' value is up to 6,000 dollars. I reported my loss to the WNA management team. Until today, I have not received any message from them. How could the thief know exactly where those bags were located at and steal them during the moving process. Use your own judgment, you know the answer.

In addition, the company could not deliver the household good within their own predicted window. Even worse, WNA asked us to pay the storage fee, $500. It does not make any sense. You did not keep your promise to deliver my household good in time and punished me for your fault.

One last thing, if you have valuable furniture, you need to be careful. My furniture is cracked and damaged during the moving process.

To protect your valuable and favorite personal belongings, DO NOT USE WARD NORTH AMERICAN'S SERVICE.

Worst movers ever. Ward Movers works for NA Van Lines. Three man crew loaded belongings in a timely fashion. Guy's truck broke down along the way. Driver waits until the end of each day to call with status updates so no one can be contacted further. Each day the same. Customer service gives runaround. GM the same. Truck is towed to an unknown dealership for diagnosis and repair. Nothing is done to transfer our belongings to another truck a d get them delivered. Still waiting. DONT USE THESE AHOLES!

Is there such a thing as a good long haul moving company? I'm not sure. But Ward North American ain't it.

While I can say the first half of my move went smoothly--they nailed the weight estimate from our Facetime call, the load out movers in Austin were professional, organized, and meticulous. But all fell apart the second my items were moved out of storage and placed en route to my new home in Chicago.

First of all, Ward outsourced my contract to another company--Berger--without informing me of the transfer. When the day finally came to receive my items, the clearly unvetted driver was 4.5 hours late. He "couldn't find a shuttle truck." Pretty sure he didn't start LOOKING for a shuttle truck for my 1 Bedroom Apartment worth of items until the morning he was supposed to deliver.

When they finally arrived, they walked up to my door HOLDING pieces of my clothing IN THEIR ARMS. "Where was the box all of that was in?" I asked. "We had to unpack it to make it fit in the truck." Right. Off to a great start.

When I glance in the truck, I notice that every single piece of furniture, which had been beautifully wrapped in plastic and furniture pads by the movers in Austin, was crammed together, no longer wearing its protection. My hunch is that in an attempt to make his life easier this trucker (who was NOT a mover based on his lack of dolly, furniture pads, etc.) unwrapped everything and threw it away before he even got to my apartment building, cramming it in the smaller box truck to make it fit.

The first thing unloaded after aforementioned my loose coats and shoes is my bicycle. Which is crushed. I don't understand where you get the idea that smashing an $1100 bike in a truck is a good idea. The handlebars point one way, the front wheel points another. I hope it's reparable.

The top of my solid wood dining table is cracked--clearly it was dropped. An antique chair lost a leg in pieces.

Did I mention this driver's coworker was his FOURTEEN YEAR-OLD CHILD? And that they were incredibly uppity about wearing masks during a global pandemic, all the while, hacking and coughing as they carried items up the stairs. The fact that I did not contract COVID from this experience is a miracle.

And what does Ward North American do to take care of the damage? A whopping $70 credit back to me. After pushing a little harder, they agreed to give me an additional $400 dollars (after promising $600) out of their GOOD WILL.

Look, I understand things get damaged in transit. Glasses break, boxes get dented, etc. That's a risk you have to take when you can't move your own items cross country. But when you completely fail to uphold a reasonable standard of care and then pat yourselves on the back for "goodwill," well, hypocrisy doesn't begin to describe it. I am not one to take down a customer service representative who is clearly doing all they can as a cog in a machine. The Ward employees I interacted with were apologetic and kind. But as a corporate entity, Ward clearly has some work to do.

Long story short: JUST DON'T.

I have 20+ boxes missing, 75% of my electronics were stolen, multiple other boxes had been opened, presumably to evaluate the contents. Most of my plastic bins have been smashed to pieces, I have high dollar mirrors missing, high value antique hutch that was delivered smashed on top (something dropped on it) and also the bottom wood was split (broken), it's unbelievable, this antique has traveled cross-country 3 times but this time...broken. Not to mention they tried to glue it back together and of course didn't even tell me, I had to find it out during the inspection.

The movers on delivery flipped my boxes upside down, completely disregarded "Fragile" stickers, they had basically no regard for my goods.

I will never use them again and I suggest you run far away from this company.
