What a great move!

I just would like to congratulate those Transatlas workers due to their honesty, diligence and respect. It was my first international moving experience from Toronto to Florida as a new immigrant and they have just proved that living in Florida will be so good as long as you can work with this kind of people.

Now, I am happy in Florida but if I ever have to move again, I know how to reach them! Thanks, guys!

My daughter's move from Guelph, Canada to Florida

These people are wonderful. I used them a year ago right at the beginning of COVID to move my daughter from Canada to FL. They moved us in 3 days time and delivered our goods 3 days later. Total of 6 days from the time I contacted them to delivery! They are the most courteous, helpful people. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I wish all movers were like that. Their communication was great too. We were worried because they were getting ready to close the border, and they even sent me a text to let me know they had crossed the border. Everything was packed very well and nothing was damaged. I will definitely use them again if I ever have the need.

Lost & damaged items and no compensation payment

I strongly recommend against using this moving company.

My family moved back to Quebec from California more than a year ago. TransAtlas delivered our belongings more than 3 weeks after the contractual date. They literally wanted to dump the goods and be gone. I had to get mad to get them to cross reference each item against the shipping list.

TransAtlas lost 6 hockey sticks, both ends of our dining table, and one kitchen stool. They scratched our dining table, china cabinet, master bedroom armoire, and MB desk. They broke the glass shelves of the china cabinet and and 2 clay pots. Several boxes were practically round instead of square when they arrived.

I received one of the items they had lost one year after the original move... I might as well forget about the other items. One of the truck drivers (who is one of the owners, I believe) is the person taking care of claims...or not. He promised to pay for lost and damaged items 6 months ago: It never happened.

The only reason why I give TranAtlas one star is that they used a third party to pack our belongings in California and these guys did a good job.

Long-distance move from Montreal, QC to Edmonton, AB

Damaged and Lost

I recently moved from Montreal to Edmonton and had requested for the quote. they gave me a quote and finally when I wanted to fix a date for the pickup they said they do not have the schedule available and then the price they quoted was way high. Finally they suggested one of their sister concern - Transatlas.ca. I set up my pick up /drop for my 2 bedroom movement. They said they will pick up the stuff from Montreal by Transatlas.ca and will deliver the goods at Calgary later TransCanada will pickup from Calgary and drop off at Edmonton. Finally after 15 days I received my household stuffs. after unpacking I realized that my Sony TV has been damaged (Screen breakage) and my son's bicycle is lost. They do not have any information about the bicycle if it was left at the Montreal or the Calgary Ware house. But I lost the bicycle and my Sony Bravia 55" TV.

I lost the trust with these company. Would not recommend it to anyone.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

They lost 2 boxes, 1 piece of furniture (bed head frame) and other small pieces of furniture, they did not reassemble all the furniture. They promised to come back to finalize their work the next day, they did not and did not answer the call and messages. Also, they charged extra, and driver had bad attitude. Filing a complain with the Consumer Protection Agency and bringing them to the Small Claims court

Move across Canada

On Feb 25th, 2022, my son moved from Langford B.C. to Laval, QC. We had an excellent service especially from Brent the agent who handled all the paper work, he always answered all my inquiries and requests immediately and he was always available no matter the time. The movers were very polite, efficient and quick. All the furniture arrived as scheduled in excellent condition and at the price we had fixed. I recommend this company to all and I will not hesitate to use their services in the future if it is needed. I was very impressed and fully satisfied to get such an excellent service especially during a pandemic. Many thanks Brent.

Excellent service

I moved from Montreal to South Carolina for a new job and moved both my (small) apartment belongings and research equipment from my research laboratory.... during the COVID-19 pandemic! We had to communicate throughout the process, wait for paperwork to arrive, and get permission to access our research facilities to pack and load materials during lockdown. Communication was open and we navigated effectively a process that is normally complex but was made almost impossible by the ongoing pandemic. I like that it is largely a family business and that the owners have high education and the emotional intelligence to know (and remind us) that a move is a very stressful event in one's life and that feelings of overwhelm are normal.

The material was packed extremely well. I particularly appreciated to see that my boxes with the lab instrumentation were placed on the truck's axel (?) where vibrations are less. Furniture withstands vibrations without a flinch, but research instrumentation does not. Everything arrived in working order.

Brent was very professional and has specific knowledge of the physics of moving that gives his business an edge and allows them to assist moves effectively, even long-distance, even delicate equipment. Finally, the owners have exceptional human qualities. To me that is crucial. Highly recommended!

Great move., and great communication once I was able to connect with the movers from broker.

All the packing was done by the company and it was delivered with out any scrapes or breaks.

I even asked them to help with a item that I needed to bring on their later deliveries and they are willing to help.

Amazing moving experience

Moving from Canada to US "without a single breakage" is the highlight of my move.Transatlas made this move so perfect without any hassle.I moved 93 boxes with lots of glass stuff but none of the item and the box was broken or damaged.Bulent is an amazing person.He was in touch with us all through the move and our stuff reached within 2 weeks.I highly recommend this company if you are planning to move somewhere.

Excellent moving company by all means

I had a huge move, from Montreal to San Francisco, which was of course stressful. I wanted to move my 1-bedroom apartment furniture, which included an electric piano, a huge tv and multiple breakables. I was extremely lucky to choose TransAtlas moving company for my big move. The staff was very competent and professional. They wrapped everything meticulously and took great care with fragile items. All my furniture arrived with no damage at all !! I was very impressed with the service and highly highly recommend them for a big move. Thank you TransAtlas!!

I'm ex-military and have moved a number of times. I would rank this move from Ontario to Ohio amongst the best that we've had so far. Izzet was organized, efficient, personable, and very cost-effective. On a very tight time budget, they organized themselves to meet us the very next day after loading (8 hours travel + cross-border) at our new location. If there were a way to give them 6 stars I would.

Long-distance move from Montreal, QC to Vancouver, BC

Never got our item.

We only shipped one item from Quebec to BC ..what could possibly go wrong!! They promised two weeks to wait..we waiting a whole month so to give them time but when we inquired only ..the agent in Quebec was nice but EMRY in BC was rude and started swearing to us and told us that he would throw our stuff away if we called one more time..but the reason we were trying to get the item before the month end is that we were planning our own move and to facilitate matters for all.. as they could not find us at the original address to make final payment on delivery..well its over a month now and we still did not get the item..I think they sold it or asked a junk removal company to pick it up..they lost the final payment and we lost our item..!! I WISH WE COULD CHOOSE NO STARS!!

Long-distance move from Quebec to Ontario

Great service.

I used this service to move from Laval Quebec to Mississauga Ontario on June 28 2014.the guys showed up 1 hour late,however did they ever make up the time during the packing process.they got everything out of the house within 1 hour.Levent showed up and started packing everything himself and the other guys were just filling the truck.awesome service! And would definitely use again. Professional movers no surprises at the end of the move.furniture was in impeccable condition and the guys were really courtious. Thanks again!

Reliable movers.

Transatlas helped us to move during Quebec moving rush end of June. They were our saver last minute. Our arangements fell through. We called them midday and their capable movers moved our 4 bedroom house in 6 hours. All went well: no dammage. Their rate was very reasonable for the work done.
