Criminals.

Their employees will take your money for a deposit, then tell you "you never made a deposit" even with the COPY OF THE CHECK they won't do anything at all to help. They are RUDE, unhelpful, and I've now lost out on hundreds of dollars because a manager "won't allow me to speak to accounting" to confirm the check went to them. Also- there is a minimum move cost they wont tell you about.
WHAT A SCAM! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Relocation Service Review.

I have moved before and am well acquainted with how the expense can really add up, so I appreciated the promise of no surprise costs on moving day. I also appreciate their care and attention to customer service, even assisting in the planning of the move. Their professionalism is evident throughout the process, down to their emphasis on punctuality. I would definitely recommend this company if you're in the process of relocating.

From West to Midwest, they're the Best.

Upon accepting a job offer in Chicago, the real stress of moving began to sink in. The thought of packing all our memories into boxes and leaving it to the hands of strangers to transport them more than 3,000 miles away made me nervous. However, Trans World Van Lines eased my family’s nervousness and was able to get all our belongings from Los Angeles to Chicago without a hitch. Highly recommended.

Please do Not Use This Co.

Driver showed up a day late, walked around and wants to charge extra for packing and oversized items, where I specifically itemized on the inventory list that I need 2 tvs and few dishes. I refused and he got on the phone with supervisor and I got on the phone with Trans world and they told me to buy my own packing materials. What?? They told me that they will take care of everything when they got my deposit of $1575. And now they want to charge extra for labor?
Suddenly driver left and I called the co and they accused me of letting the driver go. I called co numerous times and they said they will send out a driver and I waited till next day, no one show up. I called and they either hung up on me or send to voicemails. Very unprofessional and these people should be stopped treating their customers this way. After 3 days of waiting I have to change my flight to next week so I can look for another moving co. I was shocked to read all these negative comments that we all faced with TRANS WORLD. I have filed with BBB so that the next customer doesn't have to deal with this. I will continue to fight, post my experience thru social media that they don't practice this type of business.

Stay Away - Scam Company - Fake 5 star reviews.

I was contacted by Doug from Trans World Van Lines who provided an estimate over the phone. He also raved about the A+ BBB rating they had as well as the thousands of moves they do. I ultimately paid a deposit and set up an estimated date for pickup and he assured that he would be in contact throughout the move. That was the last time I heard from him. No one picks up when you call their number.

My Move Was Simple, Easy, and Stress-Free!

Moving is always a stressful thing to do, especially moving state to state. I looked up many companies, and found this one to have the best response time and customer service. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I was sad to leave Maine, but New York was calling so I had to answer. The move was handled efficiently, and smoothly. I paid a deposit, set the date and time, and that was it. On the day of they called to let me know that they would be there a bit earlier than scheduled, which was fine by me. My things arrived the day and time that they promised and everything was fine. All in all, I had a pretty good experience with this company.

Very Thankful.

I am very satisfied with the help I received with this company.I don't normally use a moving company to move. But with all the extreme heat and moving a whole household states away and coming to a new city..starting a new job and the kids starting school at the same time they came threw for me. Honest,hardworking,dependable and all in all good people working amd running an excellent biz. I will recommend them to all my friends and family. Im proud to say that they gave me a good impression of Californians.. Im proud to say I am now a Californian also .

My nightmare is on going.

I really don't know where to begin on how awful, criminal, disrespectful, unprofessional this company is. They give you a quote take your deposit double the quote when they show up. They didn't take our car like was discussed. They picked up our things August 5th and we still don't have our stuff, now sept 13. No one calls me back no updates. It's irresponsible of moving.com to list this company on their website. If you are having problems with this company as well here are all the numbers I have to call. 484-894-6802, 888-720-7374, 800-846-846-1367. Don't expect anyone to answer or call you back but there they are.

Household & Business Relocation.

TransWorld Van Lines took care of my move from FL - CT. It wasn't just a household move..I was relocating my home business also. The guys that came to move my belongings were very professional courteous. Honestly, there where a few issues that I didn't understand but the customer service rep went over everything with me so that I understood exactly why my quote increased. All in All I had a very smooth relocation experience thanks to TransWorld Van Lines and I will be definitely be using your services again, if needed!

Transworld/Superior Moving NJ.

I believe all the good reviews you are reading on this website are written by Transworld. Please do not use them, you will regret it.

My original quote was for $3,300 and ended up being $9,700. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. They charged me for 1906 cubic feet and I have proof that it was only 750 cubic feet.

Transworld has two address on their paperwork. Your quote will have Englewood, CO but when they send someone (more than likely it will be Superior Moving, the paper work will say Transworld and have a NJ address.
