Long-distance move from Anderson, IN to Minneapolis, MN

Mo mo.

Do not try using this company for moving. they will rip off your property. I have used this year to move my propery from Indina to Minnesota first they make underestimate to win the bid but they increase the delivery estimation on the day of the pick up. they tell you on the phone you property is covered by their insurance and try to tell your property is insured 100 percent but they broke all my furniture and tried to reach out to them. they are very very misleading company, do not try this company!

Do Not Use This Company.

If you are moving out of Florida, DO NOT use Trans Van Lines in Hollywood Fla. They are very unprofessional and your quote will triple once they meet you in person! I was quoted a price over the phone for one price 1300.00 then when I scheduled my move and flew down to Florida to supervise my relocation, my price went from 1300.00 to 4,000. I lost work, lost airline ticket price and time wasted dealing with these frauds! I had to CANCEL this move.Yes, I added some boxes,my original cubic feet was 400 it went to 800 which you would think would double the price but NOOOO, it did not! Also, they charged me 500.00 for packing materials when I was told when I booked moved that my price was ALL INCLUSIVE.

You may see good reviews from this company but I assure you they are most likely from other States, don't use the Florida location- You've been warned!!

State to state move.

My wife and I were a little on edge when it came time to move across the country. Trans Van Lines not only provided exceptional customer service but also put our minds at ease that our belongings would be in good hands. There were no hiccups and Trans Van Lines exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend their services!

Long-distance move from Deltona, FL to Henderson, NV

Worst Experience EVER!

Our experience with Trans Van Lines has been awful. From the initial start/pickup to drop off, they only cared about the money. We scheduled our initial pickup on 5/15/22 as that was the day we agreed with the rep S. (she will be nameless in this review), that if we wanted our items to arrive from FL to NV for a delivery of 5/31, that was the absolute last day we could have the items in FL. Pickup time was scheduled for 12-4, at 3pm we receive a call saying the truck broke down and they would have to come tomorrow, 5/16. Okay, not ideal since my husband was forced to take a day off on a short notice. 5/16, our items were picked up and supposedly enroute to NV. We confirmed that since we would be driving out to NV, we coordinated to have our items again delivered on 5/31, "yes, that's no problem. If it arrives before you do in NV we'll store it in our storage. You get 30 days of free storage."

On 5/19 we receive and email from S. saying our items are in route and will arrive between 5/31 - 6/10 with our first available date of delivery of 5/31. No tracking/update after that. 5/27, we call S. to ask for an update as we will begin our drive to NV. Extremely vague response but along the lines of "items are in route and the driver will call you the day before to coordinate delivery". 5/31 we called S. to ask for an update as we had arrived in NV the day before, we receive a response that she needs to get in touch with the driver. She finally gets a hold of the driver and responds to us via email: "Good Afternoon, I spoke with the driver, and he did not have any information at this time about the delivery. Here is the number for the driver xxx-xxx-xxxx Fxxx. Please wait a few days before calling him. Either way, he will call you a day or two before delivery." No call or update from either S. or F. (driver). We're forced to scramble to buy a bed and general household items as well as spent another night in a hotel while waiting for a recently purchased bed to arrive. 6/10 rolls around (the last date of our delivery window) and still no call or update from either S. or F.

On 6/11, my husband decides to call the driver and his phone is off, it goes straight to voicemail, left a message. On 6/13 I emailed S. asking for an update as we our past our delivery window and this has been an extremely stressful and frustrating situation. I ask for an update by end of day 6/13, no response. 6/14 - we finally hear from the driver who informs us our items are sitting in a warehouse on Southern CA, 3 hours away. I am livid as I can't understand why our items would be in a warehouse if we've been asking and waiting for them since 5/31. I email S. asking for an explanation as to why our items are in a warehouse and receive "I am sorry I havent gotten back to you. I will find out and call you first thing in the morning." Still have not heard back from S. so I'm not too sure what her definition of "in the morning" is. 6/15- we're finally able to coordinate to have Trans Van Lines delivery our items and the driver F. makes it seem like it's our fault when we have work and cannot just request off or cancel any meetings for a delivery on 6/16.

We agreed to a delivery of 6/18 with a window of 12-4 since it would take them 3 hours to drive from CA to NV. 10am we receive a call from F asking what type of house we have, how many stairs, etc. as he needs to determine how many guys to bring. Which of course makes us believe they haven't even left the warehouse yet or he was going to find some random guys in NV. They finally show up after 5pm and before they unload their items they demand we pay the remaining balance, after some back and forth we eventually pay even though now we've lost our leverage as to ask why the company took over a month to drive our items 2300 miles and why it went to CA in the first place. As they are unloading and moving our items we noticed boxes/moving bins we're smashed, broken and some looked like they had been dropped. Our bed which was wrapped in a mattress bad and rips in the mattress bag and black stains all over the mattress. Boxes labeled "fragile, do not stack anything on top" had boxes stacked on top of them. We have yet to go through all our items but noticed our Husky Tool Box with power tools is missing. It was on the inventory sheet when it left FL but somehow didn't make it to NV.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had, not just in terms of moving but the lack of customer service and support is ridiculous.

TLDR (too long, didn't read) you're honestly better off renting a u-haul and driving the items yourself. This company is awful! Save yourself the headache and possibly having to buy all new items and avoid them at all costs.
