Texas Van Lines

Texas Van Lines sounded good online and in telephone conversations, but the way they handled our move from San Antonio, TX, to Jacksonville, FL, was a nightmare.
Despite a binding estimate of $2260, the final cost was $3320.25.

Although the content of the boxes we packed were intact, everything they packed arrived damaged, several boxes were lost and one of the delivery/unloading workers threatened us! "Listen to me! Hear what I am saying. Don't complain!! You hear me? Yes? You hear me?!", while waving his finger in my husband's face. Our belongings were unloaded in Florida from a U-Haul connected to a pick-up truck -- jammed, smashed and crumpled -- although they left Texas in a large moving van.

The company responded to our complaint/report and our claim for $3,507 worth of damages by asking us to file multiple reports, submit pictures, etc. .. then, after several months, offered us a $64 settlement! Beware.

Oh, they also left us someone else's large floor rug and refused to take it back. It's still waiting (four months later) -- too heavy for us to move.

This company means grief for any customer. I am filing complaints with several government offices.
