From start to finish it took 9 days to get our things from our old house to our new house, when the contract we signed said 2 days from pick to "first eligible day of delivery". Communication was almost nonexistent, and getting anyone on the phone was near impossible- spoke to a different person almost every time I did finally get a person on the phone. Original estimate was $4700, ended up paying $6008, but just finally having that truck show up was a God send. The actual movers on both ends were very good at what they did. ​

We contracted for a move July 28&29, estimated a day and a half to pack for a binding estimate price of $18784. The movers arrived after lunch on the 29th without packing material needed. We had made plans for a cleaning firm to clean the afternoon of the 29th after we were packed for a closing on the 30th at 9 am. The team arrived short handed and the manager said he was a manager and didn’t do the work. My 74 year old wife and I (76) packed in advance over 180 boxes of the small stuff and packed with the team until 4:30 am. The manager left about 10;30 after raising the price from the binding estimate to $31,000l and.leaving only three people to finish the pack. The packing ended at 6:30 am and didn’t have enough room to finish the packing, telling us they would bring another truck later in the day. The second truck arrived late the evening the 30th after we had sold the home. We found out the next morning that at 12:30 am they could load our two golf carts and had to leave them but the team slept in the truck. The new owners were very upset. We had to arrange separate transport for the golf carts at a higher price. When the truck arrived to deliver our goods we had a better experience as the manager of the delivery was an independent truck driver who did his best with an adequate team for unloading. We have found significant damage to goods and have missing goods. We are considering filing for an arbitration hearing at additional expense to us. I strongly advise not to use this firm. They did a online viewing of our home and goods to move in advance and had a “binding” estimate that change significantly when we couldn’t make a change to another company. Our move was only 225 miles…..We had little communication as no one answered the phone when we called. Overall a terrible experience that we didn’t expect as prior moves with other companies went as planned and priced…….

1. The movers never showed up when they said they would.

2. When the movers finally showed up, they let me know that my belongings were going to a warehouse and they could not give me an estimated delivery date. They were just there to pickup my stuff and take it to “the warehouse”. Finally, a dispatcher who spoke pretty good English finally explained the process to me; it goes to a warehouse and is shipped out from there. So multiple moves of your belongings… what could go wrong?

3. I had to argue with the movers (third party contractors of limited intelligence) on what I owed (no final updated bill of lading provided). I finally gave up and just paid it what they said I owed.

4. The total cost of the move kept increasing, I never got a final Bill of Lading explaining the final cost, and had to make payments to the movers by cash or money order. The delivery driver pressured me to pay an additional amount in cash, which I did just to get my stuff and get rid of them.

5. The movers would not take a credit card for payment.

6. The movers lost track of who owned some belongings. They asked me if a few items were mine. I have yet to determine what is missing from my delivered belongings. I received some items that are not mine.

7. My “customer rep” who booked my move did not return my phone calls.

This company and their rag-tag team of contractors were horrible to deal with, very unprofessional and uncommunicative. I feel traumatized by the whole experience. Lesson-learned: stick with large well-known reputable moving companies. If you don’t see their trucks on the road, AVOID THEM. And I agree with another reviewer: the positive reviews are absolutely BOGUS.
