They managed the process well.

They were very clean, courteous and communicative. We moved out 2 bedroom apartment to another place in the same city. They managed the process well. They took care of our items, and gave us a reasonable value for the price. They did wonderful job. They arrived on time. Completed the move in expected time. No breakages or missing items. Super happy with the move. Highly recommended.

They were amazing.

They were amazing. Everyone was professional and polite. It was also extremely affordable and reasonable. They charge by the hour based on the number of movers, which is dependent on what and how much is being moved. That method of charging for the service was very helpful to me in managing costs. Very communicative and responsive movers and they super helpful. Highly recommended.

The move was smooth and without a jerk.

From start to end, the move was smooth and without a jerk. The team reached on time and were very friendly and patient with the difficulty of the move. They worked hard, and wrapped each thing of furniture with care, packed it in the truck efficiently, arrived at the other location and quickly took care of it. And upon arrival at the new house they put everything in the right room, set up the bed and other furniture. I would highly recommend this company.

A team of 3 men were awesome!

Arrived on time, reviewed the work to be down, worked professionally and effectively. A team of 3 men were awesome! They took time to precisely wrap our furniture, and then unwrap once decently placed; especially our bed which they reconstruct after they brought it into our new home. They worked very hard all day. I would definitely suggest this moving company - well priced and awesome service.

Worst experience I’ve had in a long time

We contracted for a move July 28&29, estimated a day and a half to pack for a binding estimate price of $18784. The movers arrived after lunch on the 29th without packing material needed. We had made plans for a cleaning firm to clean the afternoon of the 29th after we were packed for a closing on the 30th at 9 am. The team arrived short handed and the manager said he was a manager and didn’t do the work. My 74 year old wife and I (76) packed in advance over 180 boxes of the small stuff and packed with the team until 4:30 am. The manager left about 10;30 after raising the price from the binding estimate to $31,000l and.leaving only three people to finish the pack. The packing ended at 6:30 am and didn’t have enough room to finish the packing, telling us they would bring another truck later in the day. The second truck arrived late the evening the 30th after we had sold the home. We found out the next morning that at 12:30 am they could load our two golf carts and had to leave them but the team slept in the truck. The new owners were very upset. We had to arrange separate transport for the golf carts at a higher price. When the truck arrived to deliver our goods we had a better experience as the manager of the delivery was an independent truck driver who did his best with an adequate team for unloading. We have found significant damage to goods and have missing goods. We are considering filing for an arbitration hearing at additional expense to us. I strongly advise not to use this firm. They did a online viewing of our home and goods to move in advance and had a “binding” estimate that change significantly when we couldn’t make a change to another company. Our move was only 225 miles…..We had little communication as no one answered the phone when we called. Overall a terrible experience that we didn’t expect as prior moves with other companies went as planned and priced…….

Easy to communicate

This was the best moving experience. The team was skillful, prompt, didn't scratch anything which was wonderful, and they were very easy to communicate with entire process. Not only that, the final rate was almost less than the original rate they had given me. The head of team ,and the rest of the team members all were really fantastic throughout the move. Highly recommended.

Southern Elite van lines is horrible to work with

1. The movers never showed up when they said they would.

2. When the movers finally showed up, they let me know that my belongings were going to a warehouse and they could not give me an estimated delivery date. They were just there to pickup my stuff and take it to “the warehouse”. Finally, a dispatcher who spoke pretty good English finally explained the process to me; it goes to a warehouse and is shipped out from there. So multiple moves of your belongings… what could go wrong?

3. I had to argue with the movers (third party contractors of limited intelligence) on what I owed (no final updated bill of lading provided). I finally gave up and just paid it what they said I owed.

4. The total cost of the move kept increasing, I never got a final Bill of Lading explaining the final cost, and had to make payments to the movers by cash or money order. The delivery driver pressured me to pay an additional amount in cash, which I did just to get my stuff and get rid of them.

5. The movers would not take a credit card for payment.

6. The movers lost track of who owned some belongings. They asked me if a few items were mine. I have yet to determine what is missing from my delivered belongings. I received some items that are not mine.

7. My “customer rep” who booked my move did not return my phone calls.

This company and their rag-tag team of contractors were horrible to deal with, very unprofessional and uncommunicative. I feel traumatized by the whole experience. Lesson-learned: stick with large well-known reputable moving companies. If you don’t see their trucks on the road, AVOID THEM. And I agree with another reviewer: the positive reviews are absolutely BOGUS.

Extremely experts, talkative and efficient movers. Experience was better than expected. They helped us in packing and moving all of our stuff safely and quickly. Communication was amazing.

The communication was amazing. We required help with our big items and they helped perfect. They worked fast and efficiently. Even they helped move extra items we had not initially planned on. They also helped disassemble an item we didn't get to do before they got in. We felt the price was priceless it and affordable. They helped get our big items packed up and moved in short time. We had a good feeling about this movers and we are so glad we went with that impression.

Terrible experience

From start to finish it took 9 days to get our things from our old house to our new house, when the contract we signed said 2 days from pick to "first eligible day of delivery". Communication was almost nonexistent, and getting anyone on the phone was near impossible- spoke to a different person almost every time I did finally get a person on the phone. Original estimate was $4700, ended up paying $6008, but just finally having that truck show up was a God send. The actual movers on both ends were very good at what they did.

Stay away - scam artists

If I could give zero stars I would. $2800 estimate turned into a $7000 bill. Once they have your furniture they hold you hostage for additional funds. We never received items and our dining room table, desk, bedroom furniture were all damaged. They send you to a claims company who requires signed bill of lading they never send. After 90 days the claims are automatically closed. Do not do business with this company.

Seamless from start to end.

We might not have been more grateful with these guys. We used them for a across the country move from GA to Florida and the whole adventure was seamless from start to end. They were astonishingly organized, professional, and sincerely cared about our experience and preserving the moving process as stress-free as feasible. They were excitable during our approximate and initial signing of agreement and constant to be responsive across the entire process, from calling multiple times before our relocate and delivery day to corroborate logistics and ensure us that they were on top of things, to the real movers that arrived to our house and were very regardful and efficient of our time, our goods, and any of our solicitude. We are not preparing to do another move soon—but love that they also does local moves and would only use them to move our family in the future.

Complete Thieves and complete extortion

If you want to get lied to routinely, then agree on a moving price that all of a sudden changes when they have 90% of your stuff loaded in trucks to then get a phone call from the Coo of the company and basically get extorted for more money or they aren't moving you… Then this is the company you want to hire…

So i had no choice, so i bumped 3k to be paid by credit card at delivery the next day…. Are you ready for this… the employees at my house delivering my stuff said they don't give a crap what the Coo said…they wanted 3k cash on a sunday so I had to call the cops to come out because they said they were leaving with my stuff..

When all done left a mess everywhere, did not clean up… never hooked up washer and dryer.

This company is a complete joke and doesn't give a crap about you… just there money.

They also tried to have my father in law sign bill of laiding paper work on my behalf without me knowing..,

DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

You will regret it if you do..

Thieves and Non responsive movers

They stole items and my neighbors saw them put it in the cab of the truck. They did not wrap items that should have been. Items put on the truck did not arrive at the destination. They wanted 3 times plus the cost of the estimate. I told the head guy about items being stolen and he said nothing. also did not give me a form for the damaged bed. Have photos.

Movers let boxes roll down a hill and smash into a large Rock;

Multiple Lost items!!

Several Broken Chairs- Chinese Chippendale, and English Chippendale;

They added significantly to original Cost Estimate

NO Reimbursement; thoughcontacted many times.

Disappointed

Initial conversation went well with booking my move. Movers who packed up my belongings did not handle my belongings with care. Left their trash at my front door. Lack of communication regarding when my belongings would be delivered. I was told my belongings would be delivered on a certain date. Date came and went, no delivery. Getting through to someone about my delivery date was a hassle. My belongings were finally delivered . The gentlemen who unpacked my belongings were much better than the gentlemen who packed up my belongings. My tv was not wrapped probably and was delivered damaged. I have reached out regarding my damaged item and no return call as of yet. Highly disappointed.

Very Unhappy w/lack of care for my property

My movers were hired through the U-haul site. The only complaint I have is they removed the mattress protector and completely soiled my brand new, expensive ($2,500) mattress. They specifically removed the plastic protective cover I purchased from Lowes, and now my mattress has many stains that cannot be cleaned. I've tried Resolve, baking soda, etc...When I called the company to let them know about this, the guy said it wasn't his company. So, either U-haul is lying or this company is. Very disappointed.

Greatly misquoted twice

Cost ended up being 3x what the original estimate was. I moved a 2 bedroom apartment and I didn’t even have one full bedroom set and the other was being used as an office with a futon. I had less than 15 boxes and yet somehow this was 3x what I was quoted.
