The RSS team is not only arrogant and dismissive, they are dishonest when called to answer for their failure to do their job. My wife and I contracted with RSS to ship items from greater Seattle area to Portugal. After paying a deposit, communication became difficult and when our assigned container was in transit they demanded additional fees ostensibly for US Customs hold that never occurred, and they refused to discuss refunding the bogus fee (We verified with U.S. Customs no hold occurred). They also refused to assist with Portuguese customs process by providing Any information about documents needed or how to contact their approved receiving agent, causing additional delays and expense. RSS has also refused to assist in a claim against the shipper for an unlawful entry into the container that resulted in loss (theft of personal items including a safe, silver service and other items and damage to furniture) by failing to provide minimum information regarding the shipment: failing to provide waybill number despite repeated demands, until the state of Washington Attorney General’s office intervened, and then they lied to the AG stating they had provided this info “many times”. DO NOT TRUST RSS. Legal action is pending.

After 40 plus years of moving around the world with the military and federal service my wife and I are moving to the Philippines for retirement. A friend who recently moved to Cebu recommended RSS, LLC and her recommendation was great. Michelle, Kate, Marisel and Ella, the RSS team in the U.S. and on the Philippine side did a wonderful job of advising, preparing, directing, working with Philippine customs and more, to make it a pleasant and successful move. RSS was quick to respond by email when we asked for a quote, while other companies either didn't respond accurately or kept pushing to speak on the phone. They allowed us to pack everything ourselves. We chose to use door to port service because we have a family member that works at the port of Constanta. During the duration of our shipping, Michelle took the time to answer our emails and/or calls very quickly and professionally. Everything arrived in great condition, we were very happy with their service all around!

I have moved multiple times with the military and have never had such a bad experience with any moves until my recent move with RSS LLC. I moved from Elizabethtown, KY to Germany. From the start I should have realized that their customer service was sub-par compared to other companies I have worked with earlier. The packing company used had a thief in the midst. One, I was missing $100.00 from my wallet which was tucked away, so he had to rummage through an area while I was busy somewhere else in the house. They were not very helpful dealing with customs either as the container arrived on a Friday and for some Godforsaken reason took a week to clear. After the container was finally cleared, and all was delivered to my new address, we were short three boxes. Items were poorly packed and received damage to some furniture. We have items missing from packed items, such as my wife's black pearl necklace, black pearl bracelet and gift from her childhood of a silver necklace with a silver pendant with her name etched into it. There was more, but just costume jewelry. My computer is missing cards, one which allowed for a television connection. Why would someone steal cards? My insurance request was never processed and they will not take any responsibility for any actions taken, but very good at taking your money. I almost forgot to mention, their packers in the US Easymoving recorded the wrong packing date and had to scramble to get a team to my house on the correct date (they were tracking the move one month later than planned). This caused for a late arrival of the packers.

After my husband's death, at the end of July 2018, I had to move a new car and some furniture from Florida US to Europe Lithuania. I paid about 6000 USD for moving. Later RSS LLC declared that the cargo was detained by customs, as a result for the inspection and demurrage I had to pay in addition 5700 USD.
After finally receiving the container in two months, the back of the new car was heavily scratched, the top of almost all the pieces of furniture heavily damaged, scratched and the pieces of wood taken off.
And nobody provided any concrete information why the container was detained for 19 days, there was no any documentation in the container about inspection of the container, the professional packing of furniture was torn apart. And the shipping company OOCL charged me 4600 for demurrage.
It was a shock for me to pay such a high sum for shipping and to receive the damaged car and furniture, which actually has to be thrown away.
In addition, I claimed for compensation of the damages to RSS LLS (Ms Michelle Bergmann and Ms Kate Deluca) (as the car and household goods were insured), but in three weeks I haven't received any answer and it seems RSS LLC is ignoring my claim.
I have a very bad experience with RSS LLC and OOCL, as from the very beginning of the communication they changed the route of transportation of my cargo and did not provide any concrete information about the status of the cargo, except the contact numbers. I spent a lot of time in trying to contact the CBP office people. And it's really strange that the government CBP office did not leave any evidence in the cargo about the inspection of the goods, except the torn wrapping of the furniture and thus heavily damaged furniture, and the heavily scratched car due to not protected placing of the car in the container.
I and my Lithuanian customs broker have all the photos of the car and the furniture in the container and taking it out.

I recently had to relocate a large amount of home furnishings from Nashville, TN to a small town in England.

Kate at RSS led me thru the entire process & was on hand to answer all questions (and I had a lot).

All the prep work paid off as the move went without a hitch.

Price-wise they are HIGHLY competitive, but you can't put a price on the comfort you get from working with someone real industry experience and Kate clearly has that, and some.

Over the moon with the service and I couldn't recommend highly enough.

I was offered a job in Adelaide SA Australia and was referred to Kate DeLuca over at RSS LLC to coordinate my move. From past experience, I know that not many people will take the time to go online and write a positive review about a product or service.  The service I received from RSS couldn’t have been better.  The gals that assisted me really knew their stuff.  My relocation coordinator Kate took the time to go over everything from what I could and couldn’t ship to what was involved with the quarantine inspection. Many times Kate arranged to speak with me after hours to accommodate me since I was already in Australia.  I highly recommend RSS LLC and the gals there to anyone moving to Australia. They really know what they’re talking about and their price was very good. In the end we paid almost exactly the amount that Kate and her colleague Craig has estimated (when all was said and done, we paid about $500 less than what they originally estimated). My husband and I moved from Dallas Texas area to Budapest Hungary. I did extnesive research on the internet for international shipping companies. Since we were only shipping only one pallet, and not a full container, the prices varied a great deal.  I contacted Kate DeLuca via email, and got a call back immediately. She was very informative and helpful. Gave me a quote and lots of helpful advice on how to do my own packing. We opted to drop off and pick up, rather than having the company pick up and deliver to same some money. Both Kate, and Michelle were great with communacation with me about everything.  It took around 39 days total from Dallas to Budapest. The pirce quoted was exactly what it cost us, with the exception of the docking fees which RSS LLC has no control over. That was to be paid at the end. Thanks to Kate's good advice on packing materials, not one item broke or was damaged. I highly recommend this company if you want to deal with straight forward, honest, and knowledgable people.

I contacted this company to get a quote on a full container move. Was give one price. I asked how can I reserve that price since I still had to organize a move date. Kate said that if I pay deposit of $850 that I will have that price reserved for me. Due to my mom being diagnosed with cancer our move got delayed. Once we went on to proceed all was good until the very end when all the sudden the price jumped almost $2000 more. I said that no I was not pay that much more and if they are not willing to honor the price they gave me when we agreed and I paid deposit that I want my deposit back because I found another company that was going to do that exact move for me for around the same price as I was quoted by Kate originally. Kate and her manager Michelle refused to refund my deposit, so I was forced to proceed with them not to loose my money. Meanwhile I agreed to meet them half way and we agreed on a new amount. So I went on with the move, container arrived ok. But now two months later I got concerned why my credit card balance seemed a bit more then I though it should be. And I find that RSS overcharged me by $1644.51 above even the new price that we agreed on. I just called Kate and her response I need to contact accounting department! Would not recommend this company as they lie, get your money for deposit to put you on the hook and then everything changes.. Im not even going in depth about all other things that changed.. there were fees for this and that that came out of no where!

We had a great experience with RSS LLC, and highly recommend them. They helped every step of the way, moving our entire household from California to Costa Rica. They made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible and they treated our belongings with care. Their overseas counterpart was indispensable during the customs process and handled everything for us. Their office was responsive with inquiries and were on top of the whereabouts of our shipment at all times. I am happy to be home and thankful that everything went so well.

I was having a great deal of difficulty with a company that I had contracted with for my move overseas. There were several issues, but my main problem with the company (based in Florida) was that after I gave them my deposit their price went up by almost $4000. They claimed that they made a mistake and that due to the anticipated weight of my things, their price needed to be adjusted. After speaking with several colleagues they told me that when they moved internationally, the shipping cost had nothing to do with the weight of their stuff. Several of my colleagues had just moved overseas and they referred me to Gabriella at RSS, LLC.  A breath of fresh air is an understatement. To sum up - I ended up losing my deposit with the other company (which I am still fighting to recover) and decided to let RSS handle things for me. I was very pleased with their services. Gabriella and her team provided me with outstanding customer service throughout my entire move. I couldn't be happier.  Everything arrived safely here in Sweden and I had no surprises. No additional charges in the US and only the port fees in Sweden (SEK 1830) that she has previously mentioned to me.  I will recommend RSS LLC to everyone I know who is moving.  They are very honest and delivered exactly what they promised.  Thank you Gabriella!

We chose RSSLLC for trasportation of our stuff from NY to Queensland, Australia in July 2013. They charged us all the fees (approximately $3700) in advance.They are now claiming that our items have been lost during the shipment and according to their terms and conditions they take no responsibility what so ever for this loss. We lost everything with no cpompensation. They perhaps use dodgy carriers or their service is very very poor. I DO NOT RECOCOMEND THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO TAKE A RISK TO LOSE EVERYTHING! I recommend RSS in Newark Delaware to anyone looking to relocate to the UK.  After extensive research I selected to use this company to coordinate my move to the UK based on a recommendation received from one of my co-workers whose family member used them.  I had RSS wrap all my fragile items as well as my furniture and I packed the majority of my boxes. Although they were slightly higher priced than another company I was considering, I was ok paying that extra cost because they made me comfortable and were able to answer all my questions quickly. The process was painless and their delivery people overseas were just as good.  Everything arrived safely on schedule and there were no hidden charges.

From my initial contact to the arrival of my belongings in New Zealand, everything went very smoothly. The estimate was within my budget and I paid exactly what I was quoted. The entire staff was very professional and I felt confident to trust my personal belongs to them. Nothing was damaged or missing and I was so happy to see my belonging arrive at my new address within the time frame Michelle outlined to me. One thing that impressed me most was the personal approach by Kate, Michelle and Sarah. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend RSS LLC to everyone moving to Auckland.

Trusting a forwarder for your personal belongings is a huge deal. I chose RSS mainly because of Kate. She stuck with me knowing my queries were a bit premature. She guided me through the process. I suggest talking to her versus email for everything because she is brilliant and nice to chat with. Aside from that I heard a negative comment and it almost swayed me. But I am glad to decided to stay with RSS and that was Kate's doing as she reassured me and gave me more confidence in the process. I loaded the container today in a retailer parking lot with my moving people.The driver of the container was so patient and reassuring. He also sent me pictures as he pulled into the port and a video of the container being offloaded from his vehicle. Talk about service and confidence. RSS price for a full 20 ft container from California to UK was the lowest rate I received. The pallet rates were even higher than what I paid and your stuff is exposed. Very happy with the service so far. Still have 30 days to receive my belongings but I trust all will go well.

Can't say enough about this company! Entrusting anyone with your entire life possessions is a huge deal. We were in touch via email and phone for 6 months. We are in Slovenia, which is 6 hours ahead of EST. This was never an issue as there was awareness around it and the team was always very responsive. Though we took 6 months to lock this down, there was never pressure put on us to close the deal. They gave us a very competitive quote. During the home stretch, there was a mini crisis when the team who had been hired to load became ill with Covid. Michelle scrambled to find another team ensuring the container left on the scheduled ship. Highly recommend this team of professionals. Daniel and Sandy.

We are even more impressed with the services of RSS, LLC. These are the TRUE professionals in the moving business. We had them load a 40-foot container in Oakland California, bound for Koper Slovenia. We were unable to be in attendance during the loading, so we trusted them to hire four skilled professionals to empty our locker and carefully wrap and secure a four-bedroom household. We opened the container yesterday in our little village in Slovenia and we're absolutely delighted with the results!! The container was packed full, and not one single item was scratched or damaged. I had allowed, in fact encouraged, the packing crew to purchase whatever materials they needed at the storage locker to ensure that delicate items were properly tended to. BINGO. Sixty five days at sea, three ports, lots of movement. Perfect. If you need to move nationally or internationally, don't hesitate to contact RSS, LLC. Kate was a superstar. Also, the BEST rate for shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, etc. You can feel confident using them.

Kate, Michelle and the rest of the folks at RSS made my move from the US to Finland much less stressful. First, the response to a request for a quote was prompt, professional and about half the price of the quotes from other companies. They sent the customs forms needed, so I didnt have to chase them down myself. Their partners here in Finland were equally professional and the whole experience was painless. I would highly recommend to get in touch with Kate and get the ball rolling.
