Royal Movers moved me in January 2024. After leaving a two-star google review and an honest representation of my experience, Chaz Miller called me and left the following voicemail (I redacted private information and censored his swearing):

Yeah Brad this is the movers here buddy. Ah we did your move for ya back in January and you gave us a five star review and then you went and changed it last week like a little bitch. You understand? Brandon? We worked our a** off for ya we were in the stupid a**, ghetto a**, dirty a**, fu***ing apartment for you with a broken a** elevator moving all day in the cold fu**ing snow. We gave you a third guy at fifty off an hour discount. Got your stupid a** piece of sh** couch up the stairs for you. Did everything you wanted and you come back with this bullsh** right here? You serious? We got a good a** move done buddy. I’ll tell you what. Take your two star review and shove it up your fu**ing a** okay? We hope everything I hope your fu**ing apartment catches on fire man. I swear dude you’re a little bi**h. People like you get their a** fu**ing beat. There is no reason why you should go on here and give us a two star review Brad [REDACTED]. After working our a** off protecting your fu**ing thousand dollar computer chair and all your fu**ing TVs and sh**. We worked our a** off for you you fu**ing fa**ot. You understand? [REDACTED] Road bi**h a** motherfu**er. Apartment [REDACTED]. You take that fu**ing review down dude or there will be fu**ing consequences. And I don’t give a fu** if this is recorded or not. Brad.

Here is the whole story: On January 12, 2024, I contacted Royal Movers, LLC and spoke with Chaz Miller about moving my apartment from Wyandotte, MI to Southfield, MI. Miller quoted me for a two-man job at a rate of $165 an hour, I paid a $100 deposit over the phone, and the move was scheduled for January 30, 2024. On January 30, 2024, Miller showed up with three guys and raised my rate. I felt ambushed and intimated to decline the service as we agreed upon, as I needed to move. At the end of the move, Miller requested multiple times for me to leave them a 5-star review on google before the move was completed. I felt pressured and forced so that my items wouldn’t be harmed if I declined. I had Chat GPT write a review and I posted it along with 5-stars on google, to which Miller thanked me for when he next entered my apartment and asked that I submit a 5-star review on Yelp and other ratings sites - which I did not do. Miller then requested full payment before moving my last item into my apartment - a $3,000 TV. Again, being nonverbally pressured to pay for a service that was not completed. About a week later I edited that review on google explaining how I felt pressured to give the review in real-time and proceeded to draft a comprehensive 2-star review that actually shared my experience.

After consulting the police, I did take my 2-star review down, however, I am reposting the whole story so you can be advised of what kind of businessman Chaz Miller is. Please go to Better Business Bureau to read the reviews of Royal Movers that Miller cannot bully if they are not to his liking. Always get quotes in writing, and if you’re moving by yourself, please have another person there with you as a witness to help prevent this type of bullying behavior.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1560

Mike, Rob, and Walt all took care of our move on 8/19/2018 and they didn't just work hard - they worked fast and saved us a bundle of money on a Sunday!

The guys were all really professional and got over a hundred totes and boxes into our new home without any issues!

They packed the trucks efficiently and in two loads we got everything we needed into the new house without losing time to travel.

We've had a lot of issues with our new house, but thanks to Royal Movers, that Sunday wasn't one of them.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $900

I found Royal Movers with an internet search. They were local to my location. I emailed them with a description of my move, and requested a quote. I had a return call within the hour, where the moving process was explained in depth and given a price quote.
I booked Royal, and they followed up a few days before to confirm our date and time. They were on time. Very professional and friendly. They made a plan with me on the specifics of the move room to room. Took and inventory and were very carefull with our possessions. I have used others movers and have never seen a team like Royal. Thank your MIKE and Chaz. Great job guys.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $480

Anyone who values their possessions and money should hire this company. They were the lowest quote I had but had the utmost efficiency and professionalism. I figured that I saved 400-500 dollars. They never wasted a minute after they arrived at their said time. Not one man was ever idle a minute. When two of them were carrying a piece of furniture to the truck, the third was preparing another piece to move. They wrapped everything including door mouldings to prevent any damage. Mike, Walt and Tyler were amazing. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend others to do the same.

Far exceeded my expectations from a moving company, Chaz and Mike were awesome! I moved a third story apartment in Ypsilanti to a house in Allen Park and they took great care in wrapping everything and were very cautious when moving even the big items up and down the stairs. They worked fast and were very friendly. I called around to every company in the area and from the very first phone conversation, they were professional, courteous and the best price by far! Let me mention that again, they were the best price hands down!! I couldn’t ask for anything better from a company, I highly recommended them. Great job guys!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $382

Royal Movers LLC were excellent , professional, and efficient on the last two moves my family has done. Not only did they wrap everything very nicely and secure, they also unwrapped and placed items where ever we wanted them to go. Walter and Jamie were very kind and courteous, as well as helpful in regards to any moving issues. I highly recommend this comany for your next move. It definitely took a lot of the stress of moving away from us and allowed for a much more organized move.

The 4 guys that moved me and my family were great! They went above and beyond in every way from moving us from my old house to the new. They were very organized and clean. They took care of all our possessions and nothing was damaged from start to finish. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was taken care of and at the end of the day they cleaned up and reviewed the job with me to make sure all ends were covered! I would recommend them over and over would use them again if my family was to ever move again! Great Moving Company and better people who work there! ??

I recently moved from Brownstown to Canton and I can't believe how much easier and stress free this was! I never used movers before and called around to get some idea about prices. Mike took the time to actually explain how the move would go and answer all my questions. I didn't feel like he was giving me one of those "standard" kinda answers I was getting. On moving day Mike was on my move along with Chaz and they were both fantastic! I'm very impressed at how quickly everything went. It wasn't like they just took over either, I have a cheval mirror I was worried about and they explained how it would be wrapped and put in the truck, It wasn't damaged at all. They were friendly and professional if I ever need to move again I will definitely use them!

Mike, Walt, and Steve did a great job moving our furnishings to our new home. We had two children playing around them sometimes getting in the way and they were very kind and even joked with the kids. They worked very fast but careful. It was a very hot day and had their own water. They took a couple of short breaks but got the move done in 4.5 hours. We were very pleased and thought their prices were very fair. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good mover.

The crew appeared on time at 8am, surveyed the project and began the task of moving my vast accumulation of 20 years. Very professionally and knowledgeful of their profession, they packed all my things, even reminding me of things I had not thought of. Very impressive handling of wood and glass pieces. I would give them all superior grades for the job, would recommend them and felt that I was treated fairly. My brother had recommended the service to me and he was right.
