This was an extremely frustrating experience, I genuinely don’t know how this has so many positive reviews. I had to contact them the day before, when they said they would call me to let me know the schedule and status. At 4:30 the day before the move they told me it was delayed a day, an hour later they told me they messed up and it was in fact the following day between 10-1. The gentleman showed up around noon, so in their window but no communication until moments before arrival. Then my wife noticed the truck already looked full, I didn’t think much of it at first but hindsight I don’t think they had any intention of putting our things in that truck. Shortly after arrival negotiations started, after they “counted” everything suddenly the estimate was $13k more, I understand estimates are estimates and never exactly but $13,000 difference is massive. They tried to “work with me, and take care of me” which was telling me they could do it fr less but would leave half our belongings behind, and that was still going to be $12000 more than the quote. The dm then called me and took another $1500 off, which was still wildly off of the estimate. I felt there business model is to get your deposit and get out of the job you thought you were paying for. So down $860 dollars and way late in the day we had to get a uhual do all the work ourselves and make an extra 6 hour round trip to pick up our personal vehicle. 10/10 don’t recommend. Full on scam

We had a very special moving company treat our hardwood bedroom set with care while we moved to Summerville. Each piece was individually padded, and wrapped around the corners and properly secured inside the truck. The movers made sure to plan wisely through the two homes, particularly around the stairs and the narrow doorways. They have been handling the larger pieces with care and have ensured that they do not come into contact with the walls. Here they assembled and positioned furniture to our directions in the new property. They ensured that they had everything in a stable condition and in alignment, and then proceeded to the next item. The level of care left had a strong impression on us, and all the pieces were in perfect condition.

We relocated several items of worth on Johns Island, a large leather sofa and antique chest. The crew took care of both pieces. Thick padding was put around the corners of the chest, and the fine areas were protected, but the sofa was fully covered to prevent any leather from being damaged. The entire load was carefully packed into the truck for transport. When they arrived at the new house, the movers were taking each piece in slowly, and setting it down exactly as desired. They inspected the surfaces and verified that there was no change in the surfaces during transport. They both arrived very well and you could see the experience the team was offering from the start to the end.
