Cross Country Move.

So far my experience has been very poor. My sales person Mark (there is an employeee by this name) was amazing until the day of pick up. It went south from there. #1 he stopped answering his phone or text when we started having challenges. My quote ended up $2200 higher after the truck was loaded. The reason was because even though they say “wrapping” is included what they don’t say is that just means blankets. Not tape, cardboard, saran wrap that holds the blankets in place. The movers came with a box truck smaller than what was discussed and informed me they wouldn’t make 2 trips so to pick what was important to take and what could be left behind. I’m moving cross country. I wanted ALL my belongings. Well things were left for new home owners because the truck was too small. My husband walked down the side of our home as the movers closed the truck doors and said “do you guys have any intention of taking all these tools, ladder etc” they Reopened the door and threw those items in. I was appalled and thought good luck getting those on the other side. I had paid $200 extra for some heavy items.(which they tried to charge double on site) A safe being one of them. The movers had refused to move it. Head mover in charge said “mark your sales guy can tell you whatever he wants but that doesn’t mean I’m going to do it. He’s not my boss” I had to argue with them and finally they put it on the truck but then stated they didn’t guarantee the arrival to my new home. Of course another discussion was had as to that comment. They also tried to get me to sign a portion of the contract with incorrect pricing I wasn’t agreeing to it. He said “don’t worry this isn’t the real price” I said “then cross it off and change it before I sign” He said “no I don’t like my form messy” I refused to sign until pricing was changed even though it was still higher then originally but not as high as on the form he wanted me to sign. And since my stuff was already on the truck I was stuck. Now I’m across the country and have had no luck getting in touch to schedule my delivery. I’m reading all these HORRIBLE reviews and am guessing I’ve been taken? I suppose I will have to get the authorities involved soon.

Stay Far, Far Away From This Company!

Worst moving experience ever. The team that arrived to pack were close to on time, polite, and courteous. There was one older gentleman packing boxes who did not seem to know what to do but he received guidance from the rest of the crew. We were present for the move but did not closely supervise the workers, as it did not seem necessary given the mind-numbingly long assurances by Robert, the "Senior Moving Associate" of their level of training and expertise. Things seemed to go smoothly.

At the delivery end, however, there were many issues. First of all, the driver Sammy got there ahead of schedule and was fantastic, but the 3-man work crew was 1-1/2 hours late. They had no tools and did not know how to use the equipment. One was very overweight and said that his feet hurt and he did not want to carry anything (REALLY?). They were trying to use their keys to cut or break the tape since they had no blades. My father watched one guy for 20 minutes unwrapping the blankets from one piece of furniture. Sammy the driver, who said he was not supposed to unload, finally pitched in and helped because it was taking so long. The delivery took about 4 hours longer than he had estimated it would.

None of the boxes were marked, so it was impossible to tell where any of them should be delivered. Two very heavy wardrobe boxes full of garage stuff ended up in the upstairs bedroom closet two flights up from the garage. Many full heavy boxes of household goods were left in the garage. Not a single wardrobe box was employed to hang clothes: clothes were layered into the box between layers of shoes so that they arrived not only impossibly wrinkled but also dirty. One hanging canvas protector of formal gowns was dropped into the bottom of a regular large box and then filled with heavy items on top of it. Two lamps were packed into the boxes upside down, arriving with broken necks. A desk leg is splintered and an upright hutch badly damaged. Several plates arrived broken.

To top it all off, the movers deeply scratched the brand new floors during the delivery of the items. Some of the scratches are three feet long.

I have tried call after call and email email to reach someone about the damages to no avail. Have even done an LLC search to discover the name of the "Managing Member" Sanjar Fayziyev and quality director Phoebe Rossi.

Reviews referenced on their website are obviously faked. See YELP reviews for more horror stories.

Long-distance move from Sanford, NC to Puyallup, WA

Worst moving experience ever.

I truly hope people go to this website to review moving companies before choosing them over the quoted price they get at the first phone call. I have moved several times in my life and have never experienced such poor customer service or unacceptable responses as I have with this company. They picked up our stuff on November 25th which began the horrible experience. We were first quoted $3900 to move from NC to WA which at first I thought was too good to be true. We were at fault because neither my husband or myself doubled checked the quote because we told them we filled a 26ft truck to move our belongings, approx 1600 cubic feet and the quote was for 800. So the guys picking up our stuff said we had more than what the quote was for but not before they filled a third of the truck. They then told my husband that they couldn't give us an estimate until they filled the truck. After they were finished, they quoted us $10,000! Of course at this point, we had no choice but to sign for the new quote as we were leaving the next morning to drive across the country to Washington state. The drive would take us a week and my husband was starting his new job the following Monday. We also were not told we had to pay 50% of cost with cash at pick up and we had only half of the original quote because we were planning on using our credit card to pay for the entire move. We had to get a loan once we got to Washington in order to pay them cash just to get our stuff sent here. We were called a couple of times to see if we had the money and I made sure to keep in contact with Jeff and Anna daily to let them know what we were doing to get the cash. We were able to wire the money on Dec 13th and I had to call them to make sure they received it. I then got a receipt on the 15th after I emailed Anna whom I'm assuming is the office manager about receiving the same respect back that I had given to them by constantly communicating about sending the money. Since Dec 15th, I have spoken with Jessica in dispatch a few times regarding our delivery date and out of 5 or so phone calls, only got called back once on Dec 29th to tell me that our stuff was being packed into a truck either Jan 3rd or 4th and that she would call me either day to let me know the delivery date. I did NOT receive a call like she said and rather I called and have been calling since Jan 5th, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, and have been told by a new girl, Melanie, and today Alex that they have no update as to where our stuff is. Melanie said she was new to the company and that we don't have a delivery date possibly due to bad weather and that they have been having problems with their trucks. They were looking into getting new trucks. So over all, no one at this company can tell me if our stuff is still in their storage facility which God himself only knows where that is or its in transit stuck on the side of a road somewhere between NC and here in WA. HOW does a moving company not have details as to where people's belongings are!! They have everything that we own!! All we want is to have our belongings back and in our own storage facility. All we want is to be communicated with in regards to when to expect to receive our things and in one piece. I truly hope someone at Presidential Moving LLC will call me this week to give me a delivery date so I can have peace of mind that our memorabilia and my children's things are where I know they are and we have access to it when we need to. They are keeping our things hostage as well as having $5400 of our hard earned money! I will be contacting a detective with the police department in NC tomorrow due to the amount of money we paid them is considered a felony amount to determine if they can track down our things. I will also be contacting the local news channel in Texas, which the company claims they are based in, to have them investigate the company and see if they can tell us where our stuff is. The next step after that will be to hire a lawyer to file a civil lawsuit for stolen items and money. I truly hope that it won't come to that but they can't get away with this and I will do whatever it takes to get my things here.

Long-distance move from Florida to Maryland

Estimate and Final Cost.

My initial estimate was about $2200.00 It was given to me by someone named Lisa, it was for moving my 2 bedroom apartment, I made a deposit of about $500.00 to lock in my date, and from that point on communication trouble seemed to start. They gave me all the usual assurances, like if you have any trouble or have any questions, you can call me on my direct line, blah, blah, blah..but I had other questions, and was leaving several messages, and not getting a return call. Finally I got in touch with someone; they said I would get a call, a couple days before my pick-up date.
I got the call from Daniel, we went over the inventory, item for item, I added (2) plastic tubs, (1) small step ladder and a tripod, I also gave Daniel the dimensions of my picture boxes, and offered the dimensions of any other questionable items, because I didn't want any surprises, and warned him of such..he said don't worry, because he increased the estimate cost to give me some wiggle room. The new estimate was now about $3200.00.
The day of the move, the moving rep looked at my inventory, he said you might be a little over, and asked was it anything I wanted to take off the list…I said we can leave the computer desk and chair, we also took off the ironing board, the step ladder and the tripod, and they proceeded to package and move my items. Once he just about 90 plus percent of my stuff out of my apartment, he presented me with the bill of lading, my new cost had now gone up to about $5000.00.
I was perplexed, very angry and argued how my cost could have risen that high, and the moving rep said it was nothing he could do…I wasn’t satisfied with that answer, and attempted to call Lisa and Daniel several times, and getting no answer or return call. After about 45 minutes, I finally was connected to someone named Anna, I explained my situation and asked how could an estimate be so far off, she kept saying well if you got more items they have to charge you for them…but I argued I didn’t have more items…she offered to reduce the cost by $275.00 , and with no other viable options at the time, I signed the documents.

Presidential moving.

Stay away from this company. Initially I was quoted $2,800 on my move. The day before the schedule pickup I was contacted by Alex. He reviewed my items and all the sudden the price went up $2,000. At this point I had already sold my house and I need it to be out in a couple days. Was never told about the 30 business day delivery window, starting from the first available delivery date. It's been 53 days now since they had my items and I still haven't received them yet. The last I heard they are still sitting out in California. Don't believe a word that these people say. If you have to carry your stuff on your back before you use these people.
