My family and I moved cross country so hired perennial. They hired a third party moving company, so it was not even them. The third party moving company showed up with a truck and hired 3 sketchy guys the night before off of Craigslist. Now we have been in our new location for roughly 35 days and still have no idea where our stuff is. I would be very careful with all of the moving companies. We had nothing but issues. Also they only take cash, but no one told me that until after everything was on the truck. I was stuck trying to figure out how to come up with over 2k in cash. Was ignored by Perrenial the whole time and the third party called and yelled at me for making a fuss to Perrenial.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

Sadly, I will never work with Perennial Van Lines again or recommend them to anyone I know (under any circumstances). When my belongings were picked up, I was charged an additional $700 on top of my quote price due to "different sized boxes." Once my items were in Perennial's possession, the team's responsiveness and ability to provide useful information about my delivery was remarkably poor. Their customer service personnel were obviously frustrated with my attempts to obtain updates. Despite an initial estimate of "3-4 days," it took nearly 3 weeks for my items to be delivered. They sat in storage for 2. When I inquired about the delay, I was informed that Perennial had 21 business days to deliver, and 3-4 days was never anywhere near the realm of possibility. When delivery finally occurred, I was provided the wrong delivery day. A single mover showed up unannounced about an hour after I was told delivery would occur the following day. The mover was shocked to discover that my belongings needed to go upstairs (which had been confirmed as part of my contract) and had to wait for help to arrive from across town. Throughout the entire process---poor communication, misleading and conflicting information (starting with the sales process), and unhelpful team members.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2500

The first person I spoke with told me 2300-2500. I said great. After adding a few items from my garage it went to 2700. still good. After re-reviewing my order it went to 3015. not happy, but now it was 2 days before my move and had no choice and while not happy with all the increases still ok. The movers showed up and told me it would be 3500. SUPER upset. Now we are to 1,000. more than the original quote. The guys picking up my stuff said that is super common. Called the company. No answer. Kept redialing for at least 15 times. It says on their contract to call them before you let the movers take anything. I pushed selection 9 for after hours. Woops that selection doesn't work. I left messages and still no return call. I had to let the movers move my things or they would have left and I would have been stuck. Note to self -NEVER recommend this company. Always use a company that will send someone out to give an in-person quote.

They sent 3 (almost teenagers) to move some beds and furniture to a new house, they not only were not experienced and my husband had to help them but when they were alone in my kids room they were browsing through everything and they even said “that’s why I don’t tell anyone in my family to hire us” as they looked through our things. We had the room camera there and that’s how we saw and heard everything. We are so upset. So unprofessional. We would never recommend this company.

This was our first time using a moving company and we are very happy with the prompt, efficient, and kind service we received. Three movers from Perennial Van Lines helped us move a to of items in less than 4 hours. They were great with packing tape, communicated with us clearly and patiently, and handled our surprise additions to the move with grace and kindness. Assuming our belongings arrive in IN unscathed, this cross-country move will be as painless as possible.

We moved from a storage unit and apartment into our new house. These guys met me at the storage unit in the morning and rocked it! They followed me to the apartment and busted that out in about an hour. Our entire move time was 4.5 hours. Our experience was top notch. They had positive friendly attitudes, which I believe is key during what could be a stressful moving situation. We had Joseph, Brian, and Sheldon. After unpacking our things everything is in the same condition as it was when left the previous location.
