Buckle up for a review of a life time. Let's start at the beginning. This company contacted me to be my moving supplier and after some talking with the representative who called me I decided to go with this company. He informed me that they would be able to make it to my new location faster than PODS which was around a 15 day time period. When telling the representative what I had to move I mentioned that I had a PC and a monitor that I was going to be taking with me in my car on the move. He inquired as to "why" and told me they would be at my new location quickly so there was no reason to, to avoid someone stealing it on my 2 day drive. So, I packed it into some boxes (this is important hold on to this fact). The movers picked up my items the day I left so my parents were there to make sure everything was taken and loaded respectfully. I had left a check for the moving company and was told that this was not a valid form of payment and I had to Venmo them. Which sure fine I can do that. Fast forward I have heard no updates from the moving company and decide to call them. The representative that picks up this time informs me that it is a "6-17 business day" process, which I was not informed of in the initial consultation, or any of the "day before" consultations they had with me. The lady on this phone call says she will call me back to give me a better time estimate. I never hear anything back. I give them a little more time, trying to understand that it's based on business days and it is a long drive. After multiple failed emails to multiple people I was in contact with I decided to call again, at this point it had been almost a month since they first picked up my items. This time the lady says that she will call me back (it is Monday) and she does! She tells me that the truck will be here THIS WEEK with a one day ahead call. Fast forward to Friday I have received no call, no communication, no emails, nothing. So, I call again, the same lady picks up, she tells me it should have been there by now and says she will call me back to let me know what is going on. I receive no call back. I send some more emails about the lack of communication and the fact that I was told my items would arrive much sooner than what has happened and that I have had to spend wasted money on items that were in my moving boxes because I did not anticipate to be waiting this long. Sunday rolls around and I receive a call from the movers. They are dropping my items off THAT DAY. I am at work around an hour away from my home. I leave early that day. The movers arrive and tell me that they only take Zelle? When I had used Venmo previously, I do not have a Zelle. They then concede and tell me that they can use Venmo but it will be going to someone different than who I originally Venmo'd. I'm told there is a 5% charge on Venmo (there wasn't before) and that they would be adding $200 to the bill because I was on the second floor, they knew I was on the second floor in the consultation, it should have been included in the price. I ended up paying an extra $300. Now, I have all my boxes labeled on where they should be going and which ones are fragile, to my (not surprise at this point) those boxes are battered and beaten. They drop off all of my items haphazardly and leave. Upon looking at my items I have found the following. Pieces of my dresser were missing, I had to buy a new one, and, remember that PC from before? Completely broken, motherboard ruined, graphics card shot, due to being in hot conditions and rumbling around in a truck for almost a month. Now Pan American ensures that you will have the following

Expert advice and guidance throughout THE COURSE of your move (I was and still am being ghosted)

Disassembly of all standard furniture required for safe transport (the only thing I had was a dresser which was not disassembled)

Reassembly of all items that were disassembled by the movers on the day of pick-up (my dresser was not disassembled but was broken and missing pieces and not put back together by the movers)

So based on this information I have emailed and provided them with the issues and still have been ghosted.

Writing this review is my next step.

I have been wronged, I have wasted money, I have had panic attacks that I wouldn't be receiving my items at all and they were stolen, and I am trying to find a way to get this fixed. Thank you.

This company lied to me. They said they were sending a 10 foot box truck for my 25-30 boxes and small bins. They came with a huge moving truck. I found out they pick up several peoples items and then deliver when it's convenient. I was told they would deliver in 3-6 days, but because I complained so much I got my items in 20 days! Communication was non existent! Even when they promised a call back I never got one! They promised I'd get my items the first week, then the 2nd week and I finally received my stuff the end of the 3rd week because I threatened them in writing, with legal action and bad reports. They never informed me that my stuff was delayed, etc. I finally received my items from a different moving company, but things were broken and a rodent had chewed a big hole in one box and chewed up half a roll of toilet paper. I would not recommend Pan American Moving & Company also because they get other companies to do the job, so I guess they are the sales people only.
