Oz Moving & Storage

I moved from NYC to Portland, Oregon and after doing extensive research on like 10 moving companies over 2 weeks, I went with Oz because of two recommendations from friends and because they were between 35-50% less than other companies.

Their communication was stellar. They were where they were supposed to be when they said they'd be. Our stuff showed up intact, and I checked off each box, with its unique number as it came in the door.

Use Oz. trust me.

I made a local move from East Harlem to the Bronx. I was told of a 9am start time, and got a phone call at 8:45am confirming the truck's arrival. The foreman inspected my furniture beforehand and warned me that a few of my things might get damaged because they were not high quality but that he would try his best. He brought 2 other men and they wrapped up my furniture quickly. We made the move within 3 hours and all of my furniture remained intact. The movers were professional. I used Oz 2 years ago as well moving from Long Island to East Harlem and didn't have a problem then either. I would recommend their services, at least for local moves; it seems that others have had different experiences with interstate moves.

We used OZ on a recommendation and I'm so pleased that we did.
The book process was easy and flexible when I had to change the date. The movers were prompt, friendly, courteous and above all incredibly efficient. They were done before the estimated time period and moved things with more care than I would have myself. They made sure to ask me if I minded them stopping for coffee and were just generally pleasant. They did a fantastic job and they made a very stressful day far less so. I was more than happy to give a generous tip, especially since the cost was so reasonable to begin with. I can't thank them enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

My family of 4 moved to a new apartment in the same neighborhood very last minute. Oz was quick to respond and first to come to our home to give us a move estimate. Their price for packing and moving was quite fair and less expensive than the neighborhood competing moving companies. The crew that came was very friendly and they worked very hard and meticulously. We haven't finished completely unpacking (almost 2 weeks later) but so far everything we have unboxed arrived and in good condition. I definitely recommend Oz for packing and moving.

My wife and I just had an excellent experience with the movers from Oz Moving & Storage! The four gentlemen that we had the pleasure of working with were very professional and pleasant.

Our pickup location was a 4th floor walk-up! And, we needed items to be dropped off at a storage facility prior to the final stop. There was not one complaint from anyone! For every item they brought to their truck they asked which location the item(s) was going to.

They disassembled and reassembled any large furniture. They handled every item with care. And.. They worked super fast!!

Overall.. Extremely satisfied. Highly recommended. Would definitely used again!!
