NorthStar Moving Company

NorthStar is a fantastic moving company and I would highly recommend them for any move. We have used them 3 times and recommended them to many friends, all of whom have also been very pleased with their service. They are easy to work with, professional, thorough, careful with your items, and always putting their best foot forward. It is very impressive to see, regardless of the team that shows up, how quickly they work, how efficiently they are throughout the move, and how hard they work. HUGE 10 plus starts to NorthStar!

Great customer service from Ana and Jessica in the office.  Easy and great value to organize.  The 3 guys turned up and got to work.  They stopped the clock when they didn't have the right tool to take my bed down and this was all explained clearly and fairly.  The trip to my new apt and the subsequent offloading was just as efficient.  They were out of there within the alotted time set by my new strict HOA and left with the sweet comment of 'Enjoy your new home'..Nice touch to a perfect service.  Ill definately use them and recommend them again.

On the road to AR from GA. Called my moving company to check on the move. Got a male voice who told me my moving co had gone out of business and he connected me to North Star who signed me up. Next day got a call from my mover who was not out of business and did my move. Don't now why North Star felt the need to lie but sure did mess us my day and week. So did the continual calls from North Star harassing me. It was horrible. don't know really how a move with North Star would be.

Service cost: $2380

Use someone else! They completely overcharged me and took all day to move the contents of a packed 900 sq foot condo 30 miles away. I was charged $1500 for that! It took them 7 hours just to load the truck, but only 2 to unload it. They said it was because the condo was far off the road. But 2 movers moved even more stuff into that same condo in 3 hours, including moving it out of another place. I was paying for 3 guys, but 1 only worked half the time. He spent a lot of time on the truck and was working to service the truck that had problems with the oil. One wrapped the furniture inside, and it was complete overkill. He wrapped it as if it were shipping across country, and then charged me for the shrink wrap and tape! I believe that was to add to the time, thus enhancing the charges. The second guy did most of the work, carrying the wrapped furniture to the truck. I felt bad for him. The only two pieces that weren't wrapped were damaged, and I'm still looking for pieces of furniture that are apparently forever lost. They rushed to unload and many things were broken/leaking as a result. All the boxes were dumped in one room. It was a complete mess! I've moved quite a bit, and this was the worst move experience ever! Don't use them!

This is my 4th time using Northstar and once again, I couldn't be more pleased. Their customer service is 2nd to none and the movers are always courteous, efficient, and trustworthy. Its a great feeling knowing that I never have to worry about who to call when its time to move again, I love having Northstar in my back pocket. Their rates are competitive and the on site 'not to exceed' pricing is amazing. When you call, ask for Stefy, she's a sweetheart! She called a day or two after our move to ensure everything was done to our liking and to wish us happy living in our new place. This is a top notch company, you wont be disappointed!

I can't say enough about how great this moving company is.  From my first contact to set up the move, Alma Lopez couldn't have been more helpful.  She was very personable, was able to answer all my questions, and put my mind at ease that all was going to go well.  On the day of the move, the team of Jacito, Ryan and Juan arrived on time, got everything out of our townhome and into a nearby apartment (we are doing a remodel) effeciently, professionally and with smiles on their faces! The latter (the smiles) made all the difference because it put me totally at ease.  All in all, I couldn't have been happier and will definately use Northstar again in 6 months when we move back into our home.

I've used Northstar for 4 moves and they are terrific. Never had a problem. Ever. Hire them and you will not be disappointed. 
The movers are always on time, very communicative and very careful with all the items. 
They take the time needed to do it right and at the same time, they are very efficient. 
 
I was quoted the maximum amount at the beginning of the move, and by the time we were done, it was hundreds less, as I suspected.
The movers are very professional and have all the right equipment for the job. 
The sales staff are also very attentive and very nice. 
Honestly, I never have a concern with the company, and this is why I use them over and over again. .
