NorthStar Moving Company

We did a short move to put furniture into a storage unit a few miles from our house. The two man team were prompt, friendly, efficient and careful. I'll absolutely use them again if/when I have an additional move. The only slight knock (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) was due to what seemed to be a very heavy (and unnecessary) use of tape and roll..seriously, I actually had to tell one of the movers to stop at one point. So at the end, they banged me for what I thought was an extra load (it's enormously overpriced, and I know obviously this is where moving companies make very high margins)..lesson learned: I can supply my own next time.Aside from that small knock, the company was excellent! .

Crew of 3 showed up on time and started working immediately.  They wrapped everything to protect from scratches and were very courteous and professional.  They were required to move contents from 2 apartments in 2 separate buildings and did so quickly and efficiently.  When they arrived at the new apartment they unloaded with speed and took care to put items where requested.  They cleaned up all their paper and wrappings and I have to say it was the absolute best move I have ever experienced.  If you want a great unstressful move you should call North Star! .

This was our best move ever. The entire team was fantastic. From the first phone call to the office to the time the movers left, everyone was unbelievably helpful and great. The movers were fast, helpful, professional and good. Also, the price was very competitive. We moved 6 times in the past 7 years and this was really the best move ever. When we move again -and we will - we will certainly hire NorthStar again. In short, it was a very successful move and the movers and NorthStar helped us to make it as painless as a move can be. They had extra boxes when we needed some (without charging us) and were generally very helpful and amazing. Like I said, we will hire them again. If you are looking for a great moving company, this is it!! .

NorthStar is a fantastic moving company and I would highly recommend them for any move. We have used them 3 times and recommended them to many friends, all of whom have also been very pleased with their service. They are easy to work with, professional, thorough, careful with your items, and always putting their best foot forward. It is very impressive to see, regardless of the team that shows up, how quickly they work, how efficiently they are throughout the move, and how hard they work. HUGE 10 plus starts to NorthStar!

Great customer service from Ana and Jessica in the office.  Easy and great value to organize.  The 3 guys turned up and got to work.  They stopped the clock when they didn't have the right tool to take my bed down and this was all explained clearly and fairly.  The trip to my new apt and the subsequent offloading was just as efficient.  They were out of there within the alotted time set by my new strict HOA and left with the sweet comment of 'Enjoy your new home'..Nice touch to a perfect service.  Ill definately use them and recommend them again.

I've had several bad experiences with movers over the years. This was not one of them.
Northstar moved my family quickly and without any damage to my things. My movers called me, came on time, helped pack, and were professional and polite.
Although they looked really young they knew exactly what they were doing. By far the best movers I've ever had. Even my flimsy ikea furniture survived. They took the time to dismantle the bed frames and put them back together.
Definitely I would use them again.

I can't say enough about how great this moving company is.  From my first contact to set up the move, Alma Lopez couldn't have been more helpful.  She was very personable, was able to answer all my questions, and put my mind at ease that all was going to go well.  On the day of the move, the team of Jacito, Ryan and Juan arrived on time, got everything out of our townhome and into a nearby apartment (we are doing a remodel) effeciently, professionally and with smiles on their faces! The latter (the smiles) made all the difference because it put me totally at ease.  All in all, I couldn't have been happier and will definately use Northstar again in 6 months when we move back into our home.
