Cost effective and stress free.

I was a little concerned with hiring movers, as I've never used them before, but these guys were easy to work with and made my life so much easier. I didn't have to stress about the big furniture or the drive, which are always things that have stressed me out before with moves.

Good Value.

Coming to Albany, NY from San Antonio, my husband and I saved around $1600 on moving costs through Northern Moving Systems. The website quote was accurate, and it was a great value for a long distance move with large furniture (granted, we only had to pack up a 3 Bedroom apartment, but still way cheaper than we expected).

Moving during a pandemic.

During these trying times moving couldn't be made any easier. Usually it is frightening to most people who have moved before or moving for the first time when it comes to looking for the right company to make the move. Luckily a trusted friend made this recommendation and never have we had such a hassle free experience with a moving company.

Great service.

My experience with his company was truly a great one. I have always had issues with moving companies because my object get damaged. But the workers were professional and worked in a timely fashion. This company truly appreciates its customers and that makes the experience much more enjoyable. They are somewhat pricey but you get what you pay for.

Worst Experience Ever with a Company and ZERO empathy.

Would not recommend using Northern Moving. Scheduled a re-location move for work 2 weeks prior to our needed date (put down $966 deposit). As we approached our moving date I contacted our "moving coordinator" to ask "what time we should plan on for an arrival time" and was told the driver would call us. The day prior to our move I again called and then texted our "moving coordinator" I received NO response then got a phone call from someone who "was calling us on behave of the owner" to inform us our move would NOT be happening; but they would give us a $200 credit and move us to the following week. When we asked WHY they said they didn't have an answer for us; just that they couldn't because too many moves were scheduled. When we asked why they didn't inform us of this issue 3 days, 1 week or even 2 weeks prior again they didn't have an answer for us. Very unprofessional of the company NOT to keep a customer in the loop; when we easily could have booked with another company. We are now scrabbling to find moving with less than 24 hours notice. STRONG ADVISE you don't use this company. Company additionally fought against refunding our deposit stating that "we were breaking our contract as they could move us it just wasn't going to be on the date we requested" we eventually got our deposit back as I knew the wording of our contract. Too much un-needed stress.
