Terrible company. Had no idea that they were a broker. Contacted them in early May for a move schedule for the end of September. Paid the deposit and heard nothing else from them. Called everyday for a week leading up to my actually pickup date. The day before I was supposed to receive a call, and didn't get one. Called the day of the move and apparently the company that was responsible for the job was out of the office and would need to use the backup date. The morning of the backup date, I call again and now their saying the move needs to be done the next day. This is very inconvenient considering I have a lease that is ending and have to drive across the country to a different state. The only solution that is being offered is $150 off the moving price. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They have completely dropped the ball after receiving their brokerage fee and don't seem to care if you are actually serviced on time or not.

This broker is a scam. They literally check the boxes for moving scams. They low-balled the estimate in the beginning and continually increased the price, blaming us for the increases. They are fast, smooth talkers. They require cash payments and that payments be made before your stuff is moved. They charge by cubic feet and continually overestimate their measurement of your stuff. In the end my family was charged 4 times the amount of the initial estimate. It was a horrific experience.

Was quoted a price, when movers arrived we were charged for them to walk up steps-even though was told on second floor. One bedroom apartment. Packed mirrors and pictures as advised, movers redid because wasn’t done correctly-extra charge. Rented a UHaul because of extra charges. Told be delivered within five days was three weeks. Slept and sit on floor and had to buy kitchen items to cook and eat with. Quoted $$2275 paid $2524+ tips. (Was given some credit for packing of pictures/mirrors because I was mad-the only reason) plus the added cost of the Uhaul.

They under estimate your cubic feet in order to get your business. Don’t be fooled by “It won’t matter if you are a little off”, it will. Then once your hooked with the down payment, you are screwed. Our final price doubled, so I refused and loaded that extra on a uhaul myself. Then no one has contact info on their subcontractor. They show up late, under load the cubic footage and I had to get a second uhaul to mover items they left, even though they were listed. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7854

My wife and I called nationwide to move us to another state. They asked us for our inventory and we gave it to them room by room plus storages items. They gave us a quote and they required 25% down, which was none refundable after 3 days. They called us a week later and asked if we had anything to add to our inventory. I tried to add 5 more large boxes and was told it would be an additional $1000. I couldn't believe it! I told them to to forget about adding anything. Then on the day to move, the mover came in to our home and began to tell us the boxes we had wasn't the the size they quoted, the canoe which they quoted earlier with exact size, was a problem. They said they would have to requote which came out to be an additional $2000 dollars, fired them on the spot and had to move ourselves plus no refund from them.

Don't do it!!!

SCAM ALERT, BUYER BEWARE!!! Wow, I can't believe we fell for this. We are moving from PA to TN, and hired this company to relocate us. On our first call, we were told by the rep that we would be picked up on 12-6 or 12-7 and it would take 2 days to have our belongings moved into our new residence in TN... I asked her why it would take them 2 days to make a 10 hour trip, and she explained that with weigh stations, breaks, and trucking regulations they would need the two days... It is now 12/6 and we are being told that they will pick us up on 12/7 and that it could take up to 3 WEEKS for our belongings to make it to our new residence... After explaining that we were told it will take two days, they told us that we had 3 days to cancel the contract and that we will not be getting any sort of refund...

Absolute scam. Absolute scum.

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star! PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT use this company! They are scammers, and give you a great quote and a bunch of “discounts” upon the initial phone set up, but it goes downhill from there. We were originally quoted about $3800 for a move from California to Houston. After pick and delivery, they wanted to charge almost $9,000!!! And told us that if we didn’t pay, they would keep our items and deposit. Horrible customer service and company. I spoke with a lady named Ciara, and was on the phone with her over 2 hours measuring my items and sending pictures so they would give me an accurate quote. There were no additional items, and we actually took some items off the original quote, and the price was still doubled, plus! Please run away from this company! They also told us it would be a week for delivery, and it ended up being almost 30 days. Just awful!

I had requested a quote from many companies for my cross country move. I received an email from Joseph Moore asking if I am still looking. In an attempt to not be rude I responded that I had booked someone with a great price. He then wrote back "What's the volume (cubic ft / lbs) that they have reserved for you Christina?

I'm sure we can provide a better quote for the same space."

Again, I responded giving him that information. All was fine until this point. This whole time he was quick to respond to me, at one point within a couple hours. Once I told him what the other company was quoting, I never heard another word from him. I am fine if they can't give me a better quote, I understand that but to not even respond to say that?? Talk about guaranteeing I never use them in any future move. If you don't even have the decency to respond to my email, then I don't want to give you my money. What's worse is I have now written him 2 more times, once to make sure he actually received my email (it happens) and once basically saying that based on the lack of response I'm assuming they can't beat the quote I have and I'm moving forward with the other company. STILL NOTHING. I find that extremely rude and any company who has people like that I'd rather not work with. I may not know how they are for an actual move but the first impression means a lot to most people and this was not a good one.

Took our deposit of $1400 and quoted a total of $4700 to move our small amount of furniture. Schedule to show up at 9am on a Friday. After all day of calling with no response, the movers finally showed up at 10PM. There were two guys that started talking in Russian when they came in. After a dramatic shaking of the head the leader said he needed an ADDITIONAL $4600 to move us, and it had to be cash. Our inventory was exactly what was there to pick up minus a. 60 tv that I moved myself. Customer service was no help that night. They spoke on the phone with the leader and after that conversation the two man crew refused to load anything and left. Theystated as they were leaving that this happens all the time with nationwide. When I asked for my deposit back to hire another company, I was told it was nonrefundable. Luckily I used an AMEX card to pay and they reversed the charges and refunded my money. Ciera seems to be the ring leader, but the whole company is corrupt and a total scam.
