I needed to move from Paterson to Clifton on such short notice so I reached out to Moving Of America. They took all I said into consideration and got me moved out within 24 hours. Moving of America provided me with excellent service, the price was also very reasonable. They handled my furniture with great care as if it was their own. They were very quick, efficient, friendly, and professional. This has been the most stress free move I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a peace of mind when it’s time to move. From start to finish you’ve been great. Thank you to Joe and the team.

My first contact with Moving of America was Joey in the office. He was very polite, helpful and professional. My quote was pretty much on point and there was nothing extra added that I was not expecting. I asked for a early morning move & that's what I got. My window of arrival was 8-10am & by 8:30 our crew was there. Our Moving Crew Leader was Joe and he had 2 more guys with him. They were friendly, professional and helpful. It was so hot and humid and rainy the morning of our move & you'd never know it with the hustle of this crew! I will say, they took a stressful situation and made it a bit easier! 100% would recommend them to a friend!

The moving team members were efficient, fast, and well coordinated & completed the job within the estimated time.
Packing/unpacking were professionally done.
We moved to a 55+ community, and our new neighbor commented on the team performance mentioning that they were fast, quiet and didn't scratch or touch the walls while carrying heavy loads and big stuff upstairs, unlike what happened with the previous tenant.
It was good to start on a positive note in our new community, thanks to a good job done by “Moving of America” team.

Do not hire these people. One of the workers damaged our furniture and when we contacted them to get it fixed, they sent the same movers to "fix" the furniture. These guys move items, they don't know how to fix the furniture. They took it to their shop where it was promised that a professional would fix it, but that was a LIE! They did more damage to the piece of furniture and didn't fix a thing. The furniture is even more damaged now and I don't even know if it's even fixable at this point. It has been almost 2 months, we don't have our furniture back yet and they haven't provided any solution to the problem they caused and made worse. Do NOT hire these people, they also scam on the hours, but that's a whole different story.

I am so glad I found this company. Dominic came out to my house and gave me my estimate. I felt very comfortable with him from the start. He was very pleasant and attentive to my needs. While not the lowest estimate, they were one of the lower ones.

I booked them for my move and for things out of my control I was forced to delay last minute. They were completely understanding and were happy to reschedule me for another day. When moving day finally arrived 5 men showed up (on time) and loaded up the contents of my house in 3 1/2 hours, drove to my new home and unpacked the entire truck in 2 hours. Impressive to say the least.

The men did an incredible job for a very reasonable price and I couldn't have been more pleased. Margarito and his crew were top notch. Highly recommend. My father who made the move with us used a different company and let's just say he had a very different experience. He rued his decision admitting he chose poorly.

While moving is an extremely crazy thing to ever have to do, Moving Of America did an exceptional job and I was very happy with their service. Do yourself a favor and check out this company. Oh, one last thing; they charge you from the time they arrive at your origin and end when they leave the destination. They do not charge you from when they leave their yard to when they return like most companies. This makes a difference to the bottom line.

Used them 2 months ago and definitely not the most trusted company in New Jersey!

They sound wonderful when they make the arrangements with you and you’re bound to trust them after you spend $15,000 for 300 items( boxes/ bins/ furniture pieces) to be shipped from New York to Florida.

Six people came to load us up and the one most expensive piece;our dining room buffet table, had a heavy glass shelf Indy that was never taken out and wrapped up to be transported. It luckily made it not damaged, with the shelf holder, custom piece broken. Simply careless!!! It “seemed” they worked efficiently, yet managed to mess up with 6 workers!

Once they arrived to Florida, the amount of workers dropped from 6 to 2!! Remember, I had 300 items to deliver! They arrived 3 hours late. Ok. But, we didn’t expect 2 people along with my husband and I to be working!!! Is this why I paid them $15,000 dollars?!?! An hour later, they got someone from Craig’s List to work for 3 hours.

They were dropping boxes like cupcakes! I kept instructing them to watch the sign that says fragile!! No matter how well I packed up my ceramic dishes, 30-40 percent broke. They were packed between styrofoam, cardboard and even pillows!!

The best part was, :” Miss! Do you know where this cardboard or screw goes!?!?! “

The company takes items apart in New York with no further instructions on assembly and they don’t mark which piece belongs to which bedroom! They expected us to know what goes where?! Lol. If I had to do that. I would have labeled everything myself back home!! Lol.

We started this assembly at 8pm that night with 2 people who were clueless. They left me at 10 pm with 2 basic bed frames put together. They claimed they will get us someone to help and they will call us tomorrow! In brief, the next day someone came to see and days later a guy was sent to finish the job!

This job was way over their capabilities! As nice as they sounded from New Jersey over the phone, they were not able to help ur with the receiving side!!

My husband and I should have been compensated for the work we did!!!Carrying boxes and bins to the house!!

Either use someone cheaper ( who might still break or lose your things! But, dong spend the money we did. You won’t get compensated much for damage etc….

My recent move with Moving of America exceeded my expectations. I had to throw together a pretty large move quickly and was surprised at the professionalism and accommodations provided. Joey, my main representative, was able to come into my home within 2 days and put together an accurate quote for me. I liked how all of the confusing things were built into the price and I am really just paying the movers for their hard work and time. Last time I moved a few years ago, I used a different company, and the bill seemed to have an endless list of things I would have never thought of, and what I thought would be cheap price became a very high price. Moving of America was true to their reputation and I had no surprises on my bill. I really hope I don't need to move again soon but if I do I will 100 percent be using them again. My team leader of my moving team was Giovanny and he was super sweet and personable.
