I’ve never been a fan of hiring companies for things like moving—I always thought it should be a family-and-friends kind of ordeal, complete with pizza bribes and passive-aggressive furniture lifting instructions. But these folks? They completely changed my mind. They handled everything with so much care and friendliness that it genuinely felt like my own family was helping… except without the arguments over how to fit the couch through the door. If you’re on the fence about hiring movers, let me make it easy for you: just call them. You’ll thank me later.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1870

I could not have made this move without MoveSafe! Moving from Millville, NJ to Ocala, Fl there was just no way I could have done this by myself. MoveSafe Relocation handled everything so professional and took the stress off of me. My furniture and all belongings were packed for me and delivered in a timely manner. The reps were very detailed and everything was very organized. Most of all, this move was very affordable. I would highly recommend to anyone moving. Thanks to MoveSafe Relocation I am now happy in my new home!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2475

I was given a good quote (too good to be true, it turns out), so I went with MoveSafe over other options, even though they're a broker. I talked to several people, who all confirmed my inventory and estimated cubic footage. One even bumped it up a bit "to be on the safe side."

Lo and behold, the movers show up (Next Relocation) and immediately tell me my storage unit is more than the quoted size and want to upcharge me. Not only are the two guys condescending and rude, they completely ignored just about everything I asked for, including resignedly asking them to keep the load under the quoted amount. They loaded up more (or so they said), and wanted to charge me $1500 more to finish the job. Instead, they went with $500, $225 of which WAS JUST FOR A FEW CARDBOARD BOXES, and loaded up barely half of the inventory under the quote.

So now I still have a storage unit three states away I have to pay for, my budget for this move was completely obliterated, and the movers are nowhere to be found!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3000

I had Movesafe broker my move for January 2025. As part of this process, I provided their sales rep with images of everything that I was moving. The sales rep put together and estimate of 1100 cubic sq feet. Some of my items were missing from his estimate, but there was also additional of other items. I pointed this out and was told that it would balance out. Come moving day and the moving company documented that I have 1550 cubic sq feet of items to move. That's a 40% increase over the estimate. This resulted in an additional ~$1500 in unexpected costs for the move.

While I understand that it was only an estimate, being 40% off is too far off. I contacted Movesafe and had them do a review. They took no accountability for the actions of their sales rep and offered a small $150 rebate. This is absolutely unacceptable. Their sales provided the estimate based on the images I sent and was still somehow 40% off. They should have taken accountability for this.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6840

We have had to move a couple of times and it's definitely no picnic. We used MoveSafe Relocation for our move this time. Nick was our broker and he walked me through everything, answered any questions I had, and shared guidelines to make sure I didn't pay any unnecessary charges or fees. I liked that we were able to pick and choose which services we needed. I'd call it a customized move, which we hadn't really experienced before. The whole process was streamlined and surprisingly stress free.

What I liked most about MoveSafe was how fast and affordable everything was. I was moving on short notice and needed to find a reliable option quickly. They were upfront about being a broker, and they explained everything in detail. I bought the maximum space I thought I'd need on a semi, and it was more than enough. No surprise fees. No hassle. I didn't spend hours hunting for the cheapest deal - MoveSafe gave me a fair price, and they delivered. If you're in a rush this is a company that will get the job done right.

We unfortunately obtained the services of this "company" to arrange our move from one state to another. They are brokers, so they don't actually move your items themselves, they sub-con it out. The contractor they hired was totally inept, showed up late at both locations, broke some of our items, was drinking on the job, strapped an expensive table to the OUTSIDE of the truck and left another truck load of things that we must now get on our own after paying thousands to these charlatans. They were ZERO help after they got our money and won't return calls.

It looks like they have only been in business sine June 2023. If you doubt me, look yourself. They seem to have no online presence anywhere other than their webpage. I had to create their listing on here. The overwhelming positive reviews on some moving sites seem to be fake.

Please look elsewhere and avoid the expensive nightmare we went through.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $12000

Worst moving experience of my life. ZERO STARS. DO NOT USE MOVE SAFE RELOCATION!!

-- The positive reviews on this site are FAKE!! They will remove their company page and change their company name when too many complaints are online.

-- They are not movers! They are BROKERS that arranges the transportation of a customers’ personal household possessions. Brokers do not have vehicles and do not assume responsibility nor take possession of the household goods. They do not take any accountability for the service!

-- Once they have your NON-REFUNDABLE money they do not care about you. You will not get your money back even when they break your things.

-- They will hold your things hostage and not unload it from the truck until they get paid in full.

-- It is a bait and switch scam. They charged me double the original quote and held my things hostage in the truck until I signed the "revised estimate".

-- I have video proof that they overcharged me $1,200 for 300 cubic ft moving truck I did not use. I called to get a refund and they called me a liar.

-- Three different agents promised me a delivery date 2 days after my pick-up, but it was 3 weeks late. They told me it is my fault and that the contract gives them up to 2 months to deliver.

- I called every day to get a delivery date and they no one knew where my stuff was located. They were rude and arrogant and awful.

- Once I realized they were con artists I asked if they were licensed to move across the nation. The agent immediately got angry, told me I can find their information on my contract, and then hung up on me.

-- Do not trust anything they tell you over the phone! They will lie to you and say whatever it takes for you to hang up the phone.

-- The sleazy sales person, Andrew, LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING when creating a quote and locked me into an nonrefundable deposit with lies and deceptive business practices.

-I asked about the negative online reviews and Andrew claimed it wasn't for their company, but instead it was for a company that used to own them and they are no longer associated with them. This was a lie.

-Andrew gave me his "direct phone number" in case of issues or questions, but it was not a real number. This was a lie.

- Andrew told me I didn't have to remove clothes from the dressers and I put ship blankets and soft items in garbage bags. These were more lies.

-Andrew promised that my stuff would be in one truck the entire time. This was another lie. Everything was loaded into two different trucks, then unloaded into a warehouse (they would not tell me where it was located), and then packed into another van to drive across country, and then unloaded into another van to transport everything to my storage unit. That is FOUR DIFFERENT transfers when Andrew said everything would stay in one truck. He lied again.

- Andrew said that it was MoveSafe company movers every step of the way. This is a lie. They do not move anything. They just call the movers and give them your address. Do not use MoveSafe Relocation!

--The team who unloaded everything into a storage unit was inexperienced and didn't understand that fragile boxes should not be on the bottom under large heavy boxes stacked 8 boxes high.

-- I am missing 5 boxes, the foot board to my queen bed, and they tried to deliver things to me that were not mine. Your things will go missing.

-They broke numerous dishes, my peloton screen, luggage wheels, and did not wrap my new desk and it is now demolished with scratches and dents. They will absolutely break and damage your possessions.

DO NOT USE MoveSafe Relocation!! It's a scam. They will steal your money, break your things, and you will regret it!!!

I cannot say this enough - MoveSafe Relocation is a SCAM

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

I was sold a service that was not delivered and resulted in the worst moving experience.

I've moved across country 2x previously and used other moving companies that provided excellence service, cared for my home goods, and kept me in the loop on arrival.

After 90% of my goods were loaded on the truck I was slapped paperwork for ANOTHER moving company that had a D1 rating on the BBB. I was confused as to why I was signing paperwork for a company that I didn't have knowledge of to deliver my property. I refused to sign the paperwork and immediately called MoveSafe. The customer service lady argued with me that the other moving company was reputable, and that the BBB was a "pay to play" service and the ratings were not "real".

After being advised that if I didn't sign the paperwork, they would not be able to proceed with my move, I signed under duress.

Once my items arrived 10 boxes were smashed, plastic bins were cracked/broken and mangled. Needless to say, my belongings also didn't fare well. Additionally, the guys who delivered my property didn't have the bill of lading or box manifest so tracking what was being delivered vs. what was originally loaded on the first truck was sketchy at best.

I will say William, who called me to confirm my move, was an absolute joy to work with.

If Sonny, the slick sales guy gets you on the phone for a high-pressured sale, don't buy his narrative. I was told that my items would be on one truck and the movers who loaded would be unloading my property. This was a HUGE thing for me when making my decision on which company to go with.

Save yourself the headache of movers who don't care for your property and find another service.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4500

I am a female in 20's and their QA was not afraid to shame me emotionally and passively. Would highly recommend to AVOID.

I got a phone call from this company while I was looking to move from east coast to mid-west. It was very stressful process as I thought having broker company would help with actually getting stuff figured out with moving company, but no. I had to explain myself repeatly to both this company and the actual moving company (which I did like talking directly to the moving company than going through Movesafe). #1 QA is not afraid of pulling "oh I'm sorry you didn't read the fine prints when you signed the paper"... As I did, couldn't find where it was written, asked them to screenshot the part and send over, never responded and annoying. It was along the line of "please send me a screenshot stating that lower volume of items will be combined with other mover's truck" - whatever the reason maybe (prob cost related), it was not explictly stated, and when I called to understand/potentially speed up the moving process, the guy who called himself a QA said was "Oh it's on the paper, you just didn't read it".

Umm... Still waiting for the email response with screenshot.

Not only that, I couldn't get the actual follow up from Movesafe to a simple request as getting a form from the moving company due to damaged furniture during transit for claims. They did respond that they will get back to me, which they never did.

I re-followed up directly with the moving company after a few days, and they were able to help out, even how to submit the claim.

Only embarrassment and annoyance, blockage of communications experienced with this broker company.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $2232

We shopped around for days to find an affordable moving service. We were moving from California to Texas.

The original contract/quote was 3100$

1525 upfront

806 at pickup

806 at drop off

We paid for the upfront cost, and the day of the pick up, the moving company then added 2200$ extra to the bill.

Mattress covers (said we HAD to use theirs)

Too many stairs (14 of them)

Too far from the front gate/street (80 feet)

Boxes were “large” not medium

2 loose items not in boxes

Mirror was bigger than expected

Etc etc (the fees kept coming)

I had no choice but to pay it, as there was no time to change the plan. We reached out to the company, and they said “we will look into it”. Days passed, and it took the company 11 days to get us our stuff. They demanded 1268$ at drop off AND said it was going to be 450$ extra because they couldn’t get their 18 wheeler in the apartment gate.

They delivered multiple boxes with broken items.

None of these details were conveyed to us, and at every step they charged more and more and told us we couldn’t have our stuff without paying (holding it ransom)

Then when I expressed my concerns to the delivery team, they told me “all companies lie about the price because if we didn’t, you would have looked elsewhere”

The most scummy, unprofessional situation I’ve ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - but if you need to use movers, make sure your contract has all fees up front so you know what you’re paying.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5718

Where do I begin?

1. They sub contract all their moves. Our movers were 3 middle eastern men that couldn’t speak English.

2. The drivers got lost and I had to travel 1.5 hours to get them and bring them to my home.

3. Once they arrived at the house, they were incredibly rude to my wife and told her that there was too much stuff and that they wouldn’t be moving it.

4. Once they got done shouting at their boss (another middle easterner), they decided we would owe them $13,000. Their original quote WITH A DETAILED LIST OF ITEMS, was around $4,000. This was on TOP of the amount we had to pay Move Safe (around $4500). We settled on $6300 and they STILL did NOT take everything they were paid to take!!!

5. They then played basketball on my son’s basketball hoop and chose to stand around for 3 hours before they did anything. Then decided to come back the next day to fill the truck up.

6. Once they left the house with a full truck, they decided to change the plans and deliver next day. They texted me at 11:00pm and told me they would be in town at 4am and that they wanted to deliver early. I left work at noon the next day to meet them. They then told me they were a hours away. 4.5 HOURS LATER THEY SHOWED UP!

7. They unpacked the truck like they were in a huge hurry. Then bullied me into signing an insurance waiver. AT THIS POINT I JUST WANTED THEM TO LEAVE!

8. Once I began unpacking, I realized that they had picked up boxes that specifically said “DO NOT TOUCH, MOVER DO NOT TAKE! FRAGILE” Guess what, my wife’s snow globes, family heirloom glassware, ALL DESTROYED! SHATTERED! Irreplaceable items!

9. Now when I am trying to call back Movesafe to complain, they’ve left me on hold for 30 minutes so far!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $10725

"Richard Wilson" was the rep that scammed us. We paid a $2800 deposit and was told we only had to pay $3400 when the movers arrived. Sala Movers arrived and demanded $12,000 and then told us they couldn't move all of our items. Called MoveSafe and they acted so shocked. They told us they would find us someone else and we never heard from them again. Please do no use this company. We never got our deposit back and had to use over $6000 out of pocket to move our furniture ourselves last minute.
