They used Eversafe as a name to profit of their reviews but that is not their company, hence them now being forced to change their name (move safe). They are crooks and that situatuon says it all. I was promised BS and after booking they did not care and havent since. I was given different amounts due at delivery 6 times over 2 weeks weeks after picking up my stuff, even after confirming multiple times day of was still given a different amount and ended up paying well over a thousands dollars more. My stuff was delivered and every large piece of furniture is significantly damaged. I paid to have my stuff delivered unusable. I had boxes delivered completely smashed open. Communication is horrible. Delivery was days later than planned with no communication. The list goes on and on. I was genuinely scared to open my boxes and see how much more of my belongings are destroyed.

In additon I was forced to pay a $600 shuttle fee when no shuttle was needed and that was confirmed prior and then changed last min. Since there are semis on my st weekly as u will see in attached photo. Tried escalating many times and after 9 months was told sorry for ya, you have to contact the driver who is out of the country and doesn't speak English. No compensation for damaged items. Nobody cares. Use any othe companies. This place IS HORRIBLE. ID RECOMMEND CONTACTING ACTUAL Eversafe

DO NOT use this company unless you want to be scammed out of thousands of dollars!

Absolutely horrible experience -- from beginning to end.

MoveSafe sales reps and customer service reps are script-trained scammers who work on commission, baiting customers with over-the-phone inventories/estimates and "discounts" for military veterans and others.

MoveSafe is NOT a moving company -- they are moving brokers who take thousands of dollars as a "deposit" and then subcontract with shifty, no-name local movers who then demand thousands of dollars more to complete your move.

MoveSafe "relocation specialists" and "customer service" reps are additionally trained scammers. They won't help you with anything; they just give you a runaround and blame the poor schleps they subcontract to move your things.

TOTAL SCAM!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $11000

I have been recognized and have much traffic through my very fair and honest reviews, both in negative, as well as positive experiences. Per our experience, along with what I’ve read from many others, this one by far takes the NEGATIVE cake. They will reel you in with a lowball quote (after you’ve explained in detail what is to be expected and what will be shipped), change arrival times on you more than once, and can not provide a definite date that your items will arrive at destination. (If you would be so bold as to take a chance on these swindlers, be sure to re-check the quote price BEFORE having your items loaded onto the truck (as we luckily did), as our quote was nowhere near the ballpark originally shared, but an ADDITIONAL $3000. Needless to say, we turned them away, but at this point, I would not be surprised if they also attempt to keep the pricey (25%)deposit. The website also shared that packaging/wrapping is included in the price, but that also was not the case. Turns out that per our experience and research, they are the most pricey while offering the least amount of (unprofessional) service. Run, and save yourself time, money and the aggravation. In hopes that this post will keep another unsuspecting person/people from having the same experience. You will surely be better off choosing any other mover

I got an estimate. Before I could get off the phone, I felt pressured into giving a credit card number which was charged over $800. After hanging up, I looked up reviews and decided to do more research before I commit to any company. The contract allowed 72 hours to cancel. I canceled the afternoon of the same day. I was called by Michael Giordano from MoveSafe and he said to me, you want to base your decision on reviews, you don't have good reviews yourself. I felt attacked by this company's representative for choosing to cancel a contract within the appropriate period! MoveSafe, your reps behavior solidified I made the right decision!!!!!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2000

These people seem VERY nice- but they are not. They are cheaters and scammers. They advertise "commmitment to excellence", "great Communication"- not true. THIS IS A SCAM. They hold you hostage when they come to move you and double the price. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE who will not honor their estimates. Our household items are currently in storage and we are trying to get our stuff moved to our own storage facility. They won't answer our calls. This has affected our family because while we thought we were responsibly planning a move from Michigan to Florida we have been charged THOUSANDS of dollars we didn't plan on and now we are becoming concerned that we will see our household items again. They promise to "give us 10 days to consider" or "settle this by the end of the week" but they don't call back. NO STARS only WARNING Moving is hard- they make it into a nightmare.

I was quoted a move from New York State to California for $8400. I was told our household goods would be moved in an exclusive door-to-door small truck. Our goods only! They would be bubble wrapped and covered in blankets. I was told they only used the best, most reliable movers. The reality is the goods were picked up in a small truck, and then shipped to New Jersey and put on a large moving van, They were handled a total of five times by my estimate. The price went from $8400 to over $16,000. We actually moved fewer goods than Movesafe originally saw in a two hour zoom call. Movesafe later claimed that we had somehow magically added goods. It’s an absolute lie! We actually left three large items; two bookcases and dresser behind. After the pick up, we received no communication from Movesafe. I called them a week later, and they told me the goods were in California and they would be delivered in the next day or two. The movers in California showed up at 8:45 PM at night in the dark, and unloaded the total truck (NOW estimated to be 2,400 cu ft) in less than two hours. we had to give them cash or money orders before they would take the goods off the truck. We told them at the beginning that a large moving van would not fit into our housing development. They went and rented a U-Haul truck, transferred the goods to the U-Haul truck and then delivered them to our house. The goods were totally banged up. They charged us an additional $1300 to transfer the goods. They virtually threw stuff everywhere. It was a nightmare! They never reassembled the things that had been disassembled on the shipping side. I have made over 20 moves in my lifetime and this was UNEQUIVOCALLY the worst. MoveSafe added absolutely NO value. You can’t believe their quote. It is a total bait and switch operation. Zero integrity. People who I talked to, who had assured me things would go well, ghosted me when I tried to reach out to them. Totally avoided me. Don’t fall into this trap.

Go to a real moving company and save yourself a lot of time, energy, and anxiety! Most likely the quote will be higher, but it will in fact be the real cost of moving your goods. You will at least get to choose your own carrier, and do your own due diligence on their reputation. Hopefully it won’t be a low price lure to later dramatically increase the price.

This was the biggest mistake I have ever made in moving. I wish I had read these reviews! MoveSafe offered me an insulting $500 to sign an NDA saying that I would not rate them on any sites. Can you imagine? $500 not to reveal what my experience was? They have cost me thousands of dollars in lost sleep, and anxiety over something that should’ve been very routine! I only hope I can save some other people from this mess!

First, they quoted about 50 percent of what they actually charged me when they moved my furniture into my new house. They had one company do the moveout and another company do the movein. Meanwhile my furniture sat in a hot warehouse for days. The mover supervisor was surly and intimidating. The rubber seal in my front load washer was warped (ruined) from the non air-conditioned warehouse. My Smart TV was broken completely. They gave me furniture that wasn't mine. It belonged to a fellow in SC who is probably still looking for it. Photos of my son were scattered in the street after they left. They left trash, boxes and debris in my driveway. The driver smelled like liquor. And as I said, I paid DOUBLE what I was originally quoted, and there was nothing I could do but pay it if I wanted my furniture unloaded. I had to stay in a hotel for a week waiting for my furniture to get to the new house. It was a total nightmare. And of course after it's all over, no one is answering the phone. Total stonewall. I don't expect to get a dime back, but at least I can let other people know not to use this company. It is truly a total scam. I wish we could all get together and do a class action suit against these people.

I used MoveSafe Relocation for a move in summer 2024 from Seattle to the midwest. It was a small move and I am fortunate to be one of the less angry people in this forum because of the lower cost that i paid. But it was still not worth it.

They quoted me the correct price but the wrong amount of space, since they said I could fill the container vertically - but the movers they hired refused to stack my stuff on delivery because they were behind schedule. I had to leave some furniture behind to avoid paying extra at pickup.

Their customer service representatives(amanda,michael) promised to call back and never did when I ran into snags with my delivery.

They have no responsibility to assist with claims, or really any service provided by the moving company. And though they can "blacklist movers", I don't think they do, because they never kept track of the issues I had with pickup and delivery in my file - and were simply out of touch with my customer experience.

Bottom line - Not a good broker service. Don't take my word for it though! If you want to understand their assistance simply call their customer service number during "open hours" and listen to the pre-recorded answering machines yourself. They don't call back.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1875

I moved from Raytown, MO to Madison, WI and was exceptionally gratified with MoveSafe Relocation. The team quick to respond and gave the best quote out of every one of the other moving companies I conversed with. Upon the arrival of the move the movers showed up on time and got right to work. I moved into a 3rd floor walk up and the team was unquestionably speedy at emptying my possessions. I have only certain comments about my experience and would prescribe MoveSafe Relocation to other people.

Arrived as expected and got right to work, they were extremely proficient and speedy. In any event, while moving my peloton and treadmill down from a third floor stroll up. They moved my excessively pressed third floor stroll up, two room condo to my new loft in precisely three hours! I was so dazzled! Thoroughly fair and straightforward evaluating. I needed to get outsider protection to cover my peloton and treadmill and entertaining sufficient one more organization that guided me to the insurance agency wasn't insurable yet MoveSafe Relocation was! Once more, in the event that I at any point move (I trust it's not for some time) I will use them in the future and recommend them to every one of my friends and clients. They made an upsetting moving day such a ton more straightforward.

Worst experience moving, and we have done 3 cross country moves. They have changed company names multiple times and we have filed complaints with BBB. They were not transparent with their estimate, even though in all their responses they will tell you the estimate is based on info you give them, they do video walk-throughs so they just don’t do. Thorough job documenting your items. They will claim they have everything listed, and give you a paper that has everything on it, then on day of move double count items and claim you are over weight. Then you’re stuck, because you have moving date plans and can’t book anyone else last minute, not to mention you’ve already paid thousands in nonrefundable deposit. And forget about calling later to get refunded anything even if they were inaccurate in your items list. Their call center reps are so rude, you will decide to drop any claims to avoid being verbally abused over the phone. Save your money and sanity.

What I liked most about MoveSafe was how fast and affordable everything was. I was moving on short notice and needed to find a reliable option quickly. They were upfront about being a broker, and they explained everything in detail. I bought the maximum space I thought I'd need on a semi, and it was more than enough. No surprise fees. No hassle. I didn't spend hours hunting for the cheapest deal - MoveSafe gave me a fair price, and they delivered. If you're in a rush this is a company that will get the job done right.

I’ve never been a fan of hiring companies for things like moving—I always thought it should be a family-and-friends kind of ordeal, complete with pizza bribes and passive-aggressive furniture lifting instructions. But these folks? They completely changed my mind. They handled everything with so much care and friendliness that it genuinely felt like my own family was helping… except without the arguments over how to fit the couch through the door. If you’re on the fence about hiring movers, let me make it easy for you: just call them. You’ll thank me later.

I could not have made this move without MoveSafe! Moving from Millville, NJ to Ocala, Fl there was just no way I could have done this by myself. MoveSafe Relocation handled everything so professional and took the stress off of me. My furniture and all belongings were packed for me and delivered in a timely manner. The reps were very detailed and everything was very organized. Most of all, this move was very affordable. I would highly recommend to anyone moving. Thanks to MoveSafe Relocation I am now happy in my new home!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2475

I was given a good quote (too good to be true, it turns out), so I went with MoveSafe over other options, even though they're a broker. I talked to several people, who all confirmed my inventory and estimated cubic footage. One even bumped it up a bit "to be on the safe side."

Lo and behold, the movers show up (Next Relocation) and immediately tell me my storage unit is more than the quoted size and want to upcharge me. Not only are the two guys condescending and rude, they completely ignored just about everything I asked for, including resignedly asking them to keep the load under the quoted amount. They loaded up more (or so they said), and wanted to charge me $1500 more to finish the job. Instead, they went with $500, $225 of which WAS JUST FOR A FEW CARDBOARD BOXES, and loaded up barely half of the inventory under the quote.

So now I still have a storage unit three states away I have to pay for, my budget for this move was completely obliterated, and the movers are nowhere to be found!

I had Movesafe broker my move for January 2025. As part of this process, I provided their sales rep with images of everything that I was moving. The sales rep put together and estimate of 1100 cubic sq feet. Some of my items were missing from his estimate, but there was also additional of other items. I pointed this out and was told that it would balance out. Come moving day and the moving company documented that I have 1550 cubic sq feet of items to move. That's a 40% increase over the estimate. This resulted in an additional ~$1500 in unexpected costs for the move.

While I understand that it was only an estimate, being 40% off is too far off. I contacted Movesafe and had them do a review. They took no accountability for the actions of their sales rep and offered a small $150 rebate. This is absolutely unacceptable. Their sales provided the estimate based on the images I sent and was still somehow 40% off. They should have taken accountability for this.
