Milestone Relocation Solutions

My name is Sylvia and I just recently relocated after selling my house. I selected the moving company Milestone to assist me. Milestone in return went beyond assisting me. They showed ready to work. I had been in my house for 9 years so as you can only image I had a lot of items to move. The moving guys conducted the move in a professional and timely matter. I greatly appreciate the outstanding and hard working job that Milestone moving company did for me. I would recommend over and over if to anyone who is trying or thinking of moving. Also, if I move again I will be using milestone. I would like to take this time to thank you for the outstanding job you guys did. You made my move less stressful.

I first issue was after seeing the nice clean newer moving trucks on the website, what the movers arrived in was an old truck that looked as if it would soon breakdown.  I am happy to say it didn't.  Next as they were backing the truck into the driveway the driver ran into my parked truck.  After a call to their manager I was compensated for the damage on my bill.  While moving my bed upstairs the movers damaged the ceiling.  I was told someone would come out the next day and repair the ceiling.  Fortunately I insisted on paying them minus an agreed amount for the damage, because no one ever came to make repairs.

Service cost: $800

The movers were efficient, well prepared, and thoughtful. They called when they were on their way, however, they were stuck in traffic for almost an hour and didn’t call me to notify me they were running behind. Upon arrival, they ran through everything that needed to be moved and how it should be packed. They made sure everything was wrapped or covered that could possibly get damaged. Movers were helpful in making sure that items were placed where they needed to go in the new house. It ended up taking them longer than I had expected due to my own underestimation of how long it might take to get everything moved, but they were thoughtful in trying to move everything as quickly and efficiently as possible, which was appreciated.

Milestone movers helped with my local move (less than 1 mile) and I was very pleased with the service they provided.  The move coordinator provided a prompt quote and explained their policies, he even contacted me right after the quote to tell me that there was an added charge for a high demand move day - I appreciate the advance notification and opportunity to cancel.  The movers were very nice and professional, the entire move was completed in the 3 hour window.  They even helped move some furniture at the new house from one floor to the other.  Overall very pleased and would recommend Milestone Relocation Services.

I had to move my stuff out of a shared house quick and in a hurry because of a crappy situation. I called on a Thursday to book a move for that Sunday. The person I talked to suggested Monday because it was cheaper, so we set it up for Monday. I asked about the $199 2 hour move because I only had one bedroom and a living room to move. The guy on the phone told me the movers would disassemble and wrap everything. We scheduled a move between 8 and 9 am. They arrived at exactly 9 am..almost pushing it a bit. The didn't wrap anything and the movers told me the guy on the phone misinformed me. They only cover things with blankets while in the truck. The movers were great. They had to climb lots of stairs to move stuff from my third floor bedroom. They moved all my things into a storage unit 10 minutes away and they packed the storage unit so well, I still have room for more things in there. They went slightly over the 2 hours, but didn't charge me the ridiculous extra $149 for another hour. They did an amazing job and I would definitely use them again. .

The contracted move was to relocate my eldery mother from her North Carolina home to a new retirement community near my home in the Charleston, SC area.  Richard Gordon was extremely professional with my requirements, accurate with his cost estimate, very accommodating to our schedule and kept in close communication. The two movers were extraordinary in their professionalism, courtesy, efficiency and care of my mother's possessions.  Both loading and unloading were done very well. For future moving needs I would definitely use Milestone Relocation Services again and recommend them highly.
