Vielen Dank an unsere netten Umzugsprofis.

Poor service, a lot of trouble

During the move, various damages were caused by the company M. Stermljan Transporte. These were also recognized and recorded. Almost 5 months have now passed and we are still waiting for compensation. Eventually we feel compelled to hire a lawyer. Very stressful, burdensome and unnecessary. We regret having chosen these M. Stermljan transports.

WORST MOVE EVER !!

I have never experienced such a bad, unprofessional move and would like to warn all interested parties about this company !!
My belongings were very manageable and Stermljan had made a very cheap offer .. SORRY, I accepted it ..
The end of the story: the movers were unfriendly, took a smoking break every 10 minutes and didn't even have a tool case with them, although it was clearly agreed that the furniture had to be dismantled and reassembled in the new apartment. One of the employees looked as if he had just broken out of jail - he was excessively neglected and even more unfriendly than the other two and kept threatening and cursing!
In the end, the move then cost more than DOUBLE because - due to the many smoking breaks - the time frame was clearly exceeded. We didn't tip for that - which led to further abuse ..
Conclusion: WORST MOVING PERFORMANCE that is somehow possible !! Just do not commission !!

Stress-free move in November 2018.

Even in the run-up to the consultation and the preparation of the offer, we were very impressed by the competence of the Stermljahn employee. The offer was clearly structured and comprehensible. Small changes were possible free of charge. The company was easy to reach by phone and e-mails were answered quickly. The friendly ladies in the office document the communication so well that another employee knows what has been agreed and can provide information.
The employees were there on time on the day of the move. The work was done quickly but without spreading stress. You could tell that the team worked well together and that there was a good relationship with each other. Our furniture was individually wrapped in foil and, if necessary, additionally protected with transport bags or blankets. So everything arrived safely in the new apartment. Here, too, everything was again carefully assembled and set up according to our wishes. Carrying down a kitchen cupboard into the cellar at a later date was also no problem. The team was always calm, friendly and helpful in dealing with us and with each other. We can really recommend the Stermljahn company and thank the "strong men" and the company for making the move without complications.

Experience report moving.

Basically, I am satisfied with the moving company. A fair, transparent fixed price, cardboard boxes were delivered before the move and picked up again afterwards, agreements and corrections were possible by phone and email without any problems.
Unfortunately there were discrepancies in the volume of the move and how much furniture actually had to be dismantled for the transport due to the circumstances of the stairwell.
So I didn't need all the boxes that had been budgeted, but the truck was supposedly full, so winter tires and bicycles that had been agreed beforehand were not taken. The mattresses were not provided with special covers, so that a mattress unfortunately suffered a lot. The behavior of the moving team also left a lot to be desired. So unfortunately I found leftovers and rubbish from them in construction containers and moving boxes.
The kitchen construction team made a clear reconciliation a day later: they did a very professional and very good job, despite the old building floors and walls, the kitchen is perfect, very good communication with each other, but also with me as the client - I would have been better off can not wish.

M. Stermljan: a good choice.

Moving with the moving company M. Stermljan was fun. All appointments were met reliably and on time. For inquiries and readjustments of the relocation plan, the company was very easy to reach both by phone and email. The assessment of the moving volume at the viewing appointment was 100 percent correct on the day of the move. The price was very acceptable. During the move, there was a good mood both with the customer and among the moving colleagues. That was nice. Now three only but important points of criticism. Firstly, when the furniture was being unloaded in the new apartment, there was a brisk saying that “what is once there is no longer moved”. You should do without that, because the customer is completely helpless with his old furniture in the new apartment. Second: The assembly of each piece of furniture should be coordinated with the customer so that sockets and light switches are not blocked by cupboards etc. Third: Furniture assembly should be done with more care and patience. After all, rework costs the customer money and nerves - and the removal company deducts points. Overall grade therefore: a two. It's a shame, because M. Stermljan has what it takes for an A! Here is a recommendation for those wishing to move: Let the company remove and attach the lamps for you. Plan the furniture placement very carefully: it is best to record the furniture size and distances on a piece of paper. Have your furniture wedges ready when you unload the furniture in the new apartment. Have fun moving!

From Baldeneysee to Chiemsee ...

... that was already a 'wheel flick' ... The Stermljan team did it perfectly! Competent team - reliable, helpful and friendly. Moving out, storage, additional storage and relocation - a comprehensive 'package'. Despite the long journey and snow here on site, they worked quickly and motivated - compliments and again a big THANK YOU to Sven and his colleagues!

How very good care

After the very good experiences in November 2018 with the company Stermljan, we also chose this company for our move in November 2021 from Essen in the Ruhr area to the municipality of Moormerland in East Frisia. As the first time, everything has been carried out perfectly. On 11/18 our Essen apartment was cleared quickly but without hectic and on 19.11. employees Nico Isenberg, Ralf Mons and Ralf Kühling left Essen so early in the furniture van that they were standing in front of our new home shortly after 7 a.m. after a 3 1/2 hour drive. The unloading and setting up of the furniture was carried out with care. Thanks to careful packing and loading the day before, everything got to us without damage. Due to the friendly, humorous nature of the employees with us and also with each other, the move was stress-free and was almost fun. If we had to move again, we would do the move with Stermljan again. Many thanks to our nice moving professionals.

Stermljan in Essen - A perfect move - Thank you very much.

Stermljan in Essen - I've already moved Stermljan several times.

This time the move was perfect again. Very motivated, punctual and technically very good employees.

It was by far the best and most pleasant move I've made.

Many thanks once again to the employees and the Stermljan removal company.

Moving within Essen

Half the content of the cellar was simply left where it was. Allegedly no more space, although a Sprinter from the company was still standing in front of the door. Leave the stove and washing machine in the rain, both defective. Staff very rude and bad behavior.
