The guys were efficient and dealt well with a difficult end location (over 4 floors) despite a long journey from loading to unloading.  They followed my requests on the few items were additional care was required and communicated through the whole move. The only downside, there was insufficient room for my bike and outdoor plant meaning I needed to make an additional journey, luckily I was renting and had a week cross over to enable me to go back. On the whole, pretty efficient service.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the team members at homelink for a first class service. They all worked really hard to make our move to Paris as smooth as could be expected. We were glad we chose homelink they were the best company we have used. They are really professional in everything they do. Thank you all again. I won't hesitate to recommend you to all I know. My sister is moving to Paris in the next year and has already decided to book on our recommendation.

I know at least 5 other people who have a similar story to mine. I have reported to trading standards.
I booked them for a 3 bed house move and 3 months container storage. They quoted me a fixed price and said they didn't need a list of contents c&s they 'do this all the time' and they know how much space a 3 bed house contents takes. I paid up front for moving, packing and dismantling all my large pieces of furniture.
On the day they turned up late. They had 2 guys who had no idea how to move furniture and 2 transit vans. When I queried that I didn't think everything would fit in 2 vans the owner, Joseph, was pretty abusive, telling me he knew his job blah blah and it would fit. The guys were swearing and being abusive throughout the move. They smoked practically in the house. They brought no tools to dismantle furniture, and when my retired neighbour came round with his tool kit, they made fun of him and were incredibly rude. The furniture would not fit onto the 2 vans, then Joseph really turned nasty and said I'd have to pay more - for the move and for storage.

He left, saying that another van was 'on its way'. 4 hours later, no van had turned up and Joseph was not answering any of the numbers I had for him. I drove to the Rutland addresss - to find it was fake. I called the police who were not much help, saying it was not thier concern. I drove to the Leicester depot - another fake address. I was really scared now, thinking I had just given all my house contents to these crooks. He turned up 7 hours after leaving.

He was again abusive, this time with the new house owners present, and refused to take 1 of the 3 wardrobes that remained because it was a 'double wardrobe' and he only had budgeted for a single wardrobe.

That night he sent a totally abusive email saying 'I don't do deals with your kind' and saying that I could not go to look at my goods in storage until I had paid him more cash. After a week of holding my goods to ransom, I finally got a reputable company to move my stuff from his rented, unsignedm , warehouse in Peterborough, where it had been dumped, and was certainly not stored in containers.

An awful awfuk experience. Do not use.

This company have been extremely helpful when no one could hep myself and my partner we are both disabled they have been understanding and gone out of their way to provide an above average service Thankyou Joseph you were amazing they collected and delivered my boxes they ensured the items were safe and dry and returned to me shortly before I had to move house due to the sudden untimely death of my partner and myself being taken into hospital with a life threatening illness its service like this that is hard to gind these days.

We chose homelink based on their reviews on this site, a big thank you to removal reviews this is where we found homelink. Everything was great with our removal service we just couldent of asked for better everything was carefully placed and packed for the 150 mile journey. The team were a pleasure to have around. We had cheaper quotes but went with homelink and am glad yo say we did. A true removal company that really cares for its customers. Thanks to all at homelink.
